Stunning detached villa in private location overlooking 10th fairway of America course, one of three championship golf courses on the exclusive La Cala Resort. White Lodge villa has amazing panoramic views to the mountains and golf course yet is only 6 minutes walk from the Clubhouse and Hotel/ Wellness Spa and Restaurants. The small town of La Cala de Mijas is just 12 minutes drive away with bars, shops, restaurants and a lovely beach. The open-plan villa is on 2 levels with huge covered terraces which are in sun all day. The landscaped terraced gardens include a built-in barbecue area at the lower level along with a private kidney shaped pool with shower.
My partner and I have been visiting La Cala for years and love the challenging golf, the high standard of the facilities and the magnificent setting. We have been searching for the perfect property as our second home and we think we have found it. This house is close to all amenities but very private with amazing views and we hope our visitors will love it too.

This is one of the largest golf complexes in Europe and of the highest standard. The area is easy to get to and handy for a host of other golf courses. La Cala will not disappoint.
Walking distance to the Hotel and its restaurants, Wellness Spa and Golf Clubhouse. The complex also has tennis and squash courts, a gym and running trails.
The old town of Mijas Pueblo is close-by and the bright lights of Marbella and Puerto Banus a short drive away.
We have a week at White Lodge and for my grown up family and I it was pure escapism. From the first point of contact with Charles he made the whole experience of staying in his beautiful home a pleasure. The Villa is thoughtfully equipped and caters for absolutely everything you may need. We self catered for the week and brought our food from the local supermarkets which sell a vast range of fresh meats and fish. My Son in Law being a keen cook was in his element at cooking our lovely BBQ's using the Chiminea and then eating it outside overlooking the pool which looks beautiful lit up in the evenings. Cupboards are equipped with foods that you may not need to buy but are left by previous guests, we had no qualms in replacing anything or adding to it. We ate out one evening in a restaurant called Olivia's in Mihas. The furnishings are beautifully tasteful and linen and towels of excellent quality. The location is quiet and picturesque, everything you need to escape reality for a short while. We cannot wait to return next year.
This is our second time to White Lodge and it won't be our last, we love it there! It has the most amazing views and pool, the rest of the house is really lovely too. Dealing with Charles and Iris is a pleasure and they do everything to make sure your stay is perfect. I am looking now to see when we can go back again. Nick, Debbie and boys
Just returned from an excellent week staying here with family. Cant fault the villa or professional service provided by the owner, from the initial enquiry to returning the key the booking has been very simple with great communication throughout.
The villa is very spacious, comfortably sleeping 6 adults with plenty of living areas both inside and out. Location wise it is perfect only a short 5 minute walk to the clubhouse and 15minunte drive the beach. Would recommend a car hire however taxis are cheap (€25 e/w to airport and €10 e/w to beach)
Golf wise the three courses at La Cala are a great challenge but fun to play and also very reasonably priced.
Would recommend staying at Whitelodge to anybody whether you be golfers or not, I will definitely consider returning.
We stayed here at the end of a tour from the top of Spain down to this area. This was the 6th location over 2 weeks with this being the relaxing part 😀 The villa was as described and perfect for our family of 2 adults and our "children" aged 19,17 and 15. With so many different areas to sit they could happily get away from us, but also all sit together if we wanted to.
The views are really special and as I write this I am sitting looking at the mountains as the sun goes down.
The villa is well equipped and very spacious. The Wifi is good and the air conditioning effective. We don't play golf but being by a golf course meant the area around is well maintained as well as being in a peaceful location.
We stayed 6 nights and spent most of the time around the pool.

We spent a week in April at this beautiful Villa with friends for a mixed golfing trip. The Villa is superbly equipped with stunning views. Communication with the owner was prompt and information regarding all aspects of the villa were detailed including directions from the Airport. Golf at La Cala was made interesting by the variety of the 3 courses. Highly recommend this villa for either golf or to experience the local area.
I spent 10 days at the White Lodge with my wife and nine year old daughter in August 2015. The villas is every bit as good as it looks in the photos. It is spacious, beautifully presented, well appointed and professionally managed.
Location couldn't be better for la cala Golf Resort and spa and is just a short drive from Marbella. Great for golf, great for families and great R&R. We will certainly be back.
Coast/Beach:
La Cala de Mijas beach is 12 minutes drive away and has beach front bars and restaurants as well as a supermarket , banks and boutiques.
Travel:
Malaga airport is 44km (40 minutes) drive from La Cala Resort.
The villa is an easy walk to the Hotel/Clubhouse and there are several taxi companies which serve the hotel and nearby La Cala de Mijas. For trips further afield to the old town of Mijas or to Marbella a hire car would be advisable.
Distances:
La Cala de Mijas is 5km away, Mijas old town is 15km and Marbella about 20km. Gibralter is only an hour's drive.

All bookings must be paid for in full 8 weeks before travel. A £300 breakage deposit will be taken and refunded in full 7 days after stay. Cancellations are possible up to 6 weeks before travel with a handling fee, cancellations between 4-6 weeks will be charged at 50% and after this date there will be no refunds.
Changeover Day:
Saturday is preferred, other changeover days may be available.
