Sleeping 6 to 7 this 3 twin bedroom, two bathroom, detached villa is in the desirable location of El Rancho at La Manga Club. It was completely modernised and refurbished to the highest standard earlier this year

The villa is ideal for both a family holiday or an adults only trip. Set in tranquil, landscaped gardens, this traditional style, 2 storey villa is air-conditioned throughout. The entrance area has a WC/cloakroom and leads to a spacious comfortable lounge/dining room with high ceiling and paddle fans. In keeping with the style of El Rancho (the stables), wooden beams in the vaulted ceiling give a slightly rustic feel to the property, whilst light coloured floor tiles and leather sofas provide a luxurious tone. The dining area opens to a well equipped kitchen with ample storage in walnut coloured and cream units, granite work surfaces, cream wall tiles.

Patio doors lead from the lounge to a large terrace with table and chairs for 6, an inbuilt BBQ and an external staircase leading to a further roof terrace. This terrace boasts stunning views of the nearby pool and gardens, the ideal place to catch the last rays of the sun. Both terraces have surrounding walls with inset wooden rails, thus providing good safety. Downstairs there are 3 generous bedrooms (one of which is en-suite) each with 2 single beds and built in wardrobes, and in the third bedroom there is an additional pull out bed to sleep an additional person if required. There is also a large family bathroom. The light and airy master bedroom benefits from patio doors which open onto a small terrace and the villa's front garden. Set in beautiful landscaped gardens with bougainvillea, palm and citrus trees, the villa is a stone’s throw from the nearest swimming pool (guests at El Rancho have a choice of 9 pools). Bellaluz Plaza contains a few shops and restaurants and is nearby. All the resorts main facilities are within walking distance. As guests of the villa you can enjoy reduced rates for golf and tennis. Our management company are easily contactable and can arrange additional services such as taxi's, babysitting, supermarket shop for your arrival, provide high chairs etc.

Hi, I've been visiting La Manga Club for 30 years, ever since my parents bought the villa. Time marches on and Dad sold the villa to my husband and I in 2014 - I couldn't bear to see it go and we both love the villa and all La Manga Club and the surrounding areas have to offer. We are new to the rental business, so aim to be flexible and listen to what our guests want and comment on. Please get in touch if you want any general or specific information. This superb villa has been refurbished with care and thought to a very high standard. It is set in lovely gardens and the nearest swimming pool can be seen from the roof terrace and is only a few steps from the villa. There were always sunbeds available and we had the pool to ourselves nearly every day.

The villa itself is in a very good location within the La Manga resort. There are local shops and restaurants at Bellaluz Square which is only a few minutes walk from the villa and a more amenities and beaches a short drive away.

We had a fantastic holiday and I have no hesitation in recommending this villa.

It was a beautiful villa set in a perfect location of la manga club! The villa has recently been refurbished and to a very high standard. Cleanliness was very good and the villa was Equipt with everything we needed. The instructions were very easy to follow and once we arrived the information booklet was filled with everything you need to no. The villa is Close to all local amenities and there is plenty to do within the resort itself. Outside the resort is a handful of beaches and lovey restaurants in which were recommends by the owner! (Thank you) it was the peaceful get away that me and my partner wanted but also plenty to do if you have a family.

Amazing Holiday, Stunning Villa, Idyllic Location

We arrived mid-morning to the wonderful destination of La Manga. Booking and directions to the villa were easy and straightforward. The villa was brilliant! It was very spacious and clean with a comprehensive welcome pack, giving you all the local insights and places to go, and instructions on how everything worked. We were blown away by the high specification appliances, all clearly thought out very well, which included all the things you need to make your stay comfortable and easy. The highlight of the villa for us was the floor to ceiling walk-in double shower, which we've only ever seen before in 5 star hotels - very luxurious! Outside, all three pools were well maintained and spacious, with plenty of sun loungers and shade if you needed it. Very friendly place to go, and definitely going to book again. Thank you.

Beautiful villa in a great location

Beautiful villa, just been refurbished. Do not hesitate to book this one. El Rancho is a great area within La Manga - walking distance to shops and great restaurants. Choice of uncrowded pools within a few metres. Owners are great and communicate extremely well. Management company also extremely helpful if you need a few groceries on arrival etc. I would rebook without any hesitation.

Excellent Villa

Very impressed with everything with the villa and the owner.The villa has just been refurbished to a very high standard and is well equipped with everything you need including free wifi and all the Sky Sports channels.Essential when you have three 20 year olds. The highlight for us was the shower/wet room in the ensuite which was well used given the hot temperature in July.There are three pools all within view of the villa with the nearest pool only 20m from the door.

Gill (owner) was very helpful,a pleasure to deal with and provided us with all the relevant information.

We would highly recommend this villa and would definitely return in the future.

Beautifully refurbished, clean, comfortable villa

The villa has recently been refurbished to a very high standard. The bathrooms are especially luxurious with waterfall showers. Very clean and comfortable. Nearby swimming pools just a few yards away with plenty of sun beds and shade. The owner was very helpful, answering enquiries before and during our holiday and so was the management company.

The nearest shops and restaurants in Bellaluz village are a short 5 minute walk with more amenities available in the tennis centre area which is around 15 minutes walk. All the restaurants we ate in on the resort provided excellent food with reasonable prices and the supermarket prices were also reasonable.

We'd recommend a car for reaching the beaches and other nearby towns and villages. Unless you want to play golf or tennis every day there's not a huge amount to do on the resort but all we wanted was a restful break lying by the pool and it was perfect for that.

We'd definitely recommend a stay in this lovely villa.

From the Owner

La Manga Club has so much to offer everyone: families with young children or teenagers, adults, sporty and active people or those who just want to enjoy the sun and a good book. We're a mixture of all those things so it's ideal for us. Off the resort you can find the 'real' Spain easily, from the village of Los Belones just a mile or so away to the fishing village of Cabo de Palos 3 miles towards the Strip (a long sand spit with fantastic beaches). Cartagena and Murcia offer history and all that large towns have. We love to travel to different places in the world but have always enjoyed our holidays at El Rancho in the villa.

Activity and Interests

Nearest Airport : San Javier, Murcia at 35 Kilometres Nearest Beach : La Calle (the Cove) at 1.5 Kilometres


There are 3 main beach areas nearby. One, over the hill behind the villa and down a winding track of a road to a scenic cove with restaurant. This is perhaps my favourite, not large but very pretty. Another is out of the resort along the La Manga Strip. Take your pick of long stretches of fine sand and warm water. The Mar de Crystal is a very large enclosed (by the La Manga sand spit) area of sea, ideal for children as it is shallow a good way out and very gentle. It is advisable to drive to the beaches.


Easyjet and Ryanair fly to the nearest airport, San Javier, Murcia - only an easy 40 minutes drive away. Various car hire companies service the airport. Alternatively a return taxi will cost about €90. Alicante airport is about an hours drive up the coast.


Los Belones, a typical Spanish village is just off the resort. There is a busy weekly market, restaurants and shops, including an excellent Bodega! Cabo de Palos, a fishing village about 3 miles off the resort has some great restaurants alongside the waterfront. Further on, up the strip you will find various plazas with shops and restaurants. Cartagena is a 30 minute drive away and offers modern shops alongside historical places of interest.

Further Details:

Bellaluz Plaza is only a short walk away. Stroll through the gardens to the supermarket in Bellaluz for your fresh bread for breakfast. Have a simple meal in the Bistro when you're too tired to cook, or pop along with the children for an afternoon ice cream treat. La Manga Club has a wonderful variety of restaurants and you don't have to drive to them. There's a bank, pharmacy, clothes shops etc. You can hire bikes, go on escorted rides. Scuba dive from Cabo de Palos. Climb Lion Mountain. Cartagena with it's historical interest, as well as brilliant shopping opportunities, is only half an hours drive away.

To check availability of this property and/or make a provisional booking please contact me through mail or phone. I do not at present accept online bookings because you would be charged 6% by Owners Direct and I'd prefer you to save your money. A 10% deposit is required to secure the booking. The balance is then due 10 weeks prior to arrival, you will be contacted when this is due. A breakage deposit of £150 is also required; this will be returned to you after your stay if there is no damage.

Changeover Day:
Changeover day is Saturday, but if we can be flexible we will. During non-peak periods long weekends/shorter breaks can be considered.

Notes on prices:
Prices are based on a week's rent. If we agree on a different number of days for your rental we will work it out on a pro-rata basis.

From the Owner

Our villa is part of the El Rancho community and set in lovely, and recently re-landscaped gardens, giving a feeling of space and privacy. There are 9 community pools and so you can always joint in the fun or find a quiet area to relax or swim. The El Rancho owners take pride in their community and this is evident in the care taken both inside and outside the properties. The roads are very quiet and have plenty of parking spaces. Although all the ER properties are similar in terms of style they vary in layout. Ours is over 2 floors and the bedrooms are all accessible from an internal staircase. We have 2 large terrace areas, the largest facing out towards to Mar Menor and the other overlooking the gardens. Both are quite private.

All three rooms have large mirrors.

  • Description of sleeping capacity: Sleeps 6 (3 Bedrooms) Notes on bedrooms: The 3 large bedrooms each have 2 single beds, plenty of built in wardrobe space, air-conditioning and remote controlled ceiling fans with lights. All are on the ground floor, a short staircase leads down from the entrance door. If you are 7 in your party we can provide an additional bed in the large 3rd bedroom for an extra charge. The recent refurbishment includes new curtains and bed throws/cushions and bed linen. Each room has a slightly different colour scheme. If you have a baby we have a travel cot available for your use. As part of the refurbishment we created a small utility room to house the washing machine and cleaning equipment. This room can be found off Bedroom 3, behind a proper bedroom door.

  • Notes on accommodation: As part of the refurbishment we have opened up the kitchen into the dining room, allowing a more open plan feel to the living/dining area. As the person who does most of the cooking in our family I appreciate not being shut in the kitchen away from everyone else! Outside: The landscaped gardens are a particular feature, offering a safe, beautiful area in which children can play, adults can shelter under the trees from the sun and offer privacy from the villas opposite. The gardens have recently been given extra attention with new planting, additional trees and shrubs. Because El Rancho has these lovely outside spaces the area seems quieter and less crowded than other areas of the Club. Our villa is near 3 of the 9 El Rancho pools and guests tend to use the pool adjacent to their villa meaning there is no over crowding. The villa has a built in BBQ on the large terrace. Patio furniture is provided and sun loungers with straw sun shades can be found near the pools. There is plenty of car parking space with bays at the front of the El Rancho villas. Utility Room: A small utility room can be found off the third bedroom on the ground floor. The washing machine is here along with the usual cleaning equipment. The space is useful for storage of suitcases and beach equipment, Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Air-conditioning, bathroom towels and beach towels, linen and an arrival and exit clean are included in the weekly price. If your booking is longer than 10 days a mid-stay laundry charge is included. Other: This Spring's refurbishment includes new tiles & lighting throughout, new kitchen, leather sofas, curtains, a fixed outside awning over the terrace table. In fact just about everything new that we can manage to do in the time available.
