Apartment in Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote, Canary Islands - Amazingly Quiet Location Yet 5 Min's Walk To The Lively Promenade

Sleeps 4/6, recently refurbished 2 bed apartment over 2 levels.3 terrace areas one with sea views and the others offer secluded sunbathing. On a quiet well maintained complex. Two communal pool's with plenty of sun lounger's. Perfect location for supermarket,Bar's,shop's and restaurant's and Beach all within a few minute's walk. Nearby is a new Golf Complex,Casino and water sport's Beach. If you are out for a restful break or a full on activity adventure this is the place to find it. All prices are based on two people sharing.

Perfect apartment

Nothing but positive things to say about this wonderful apartment. Plenty of space for our family of four, clean, tidy and has everything you need, all you need to take is your clothes. Washing machine, iron, hairdryer, oven, even towels are provided for sunlounger use by the pool. We were fortunate enough to have some very hot weather so during the heat of the day there's a modern tv with satelite channels aplenty. There's no wifi but we saw that as a positive as the kids spent 10 days having fun rather than being glued to a tablet. There is great 4g signal so for the those that need connection it's ideal and several bars were advertising free wifi if needed.

As for the complex itself, very safe feeling with coded keyless entry. Approx 100mtrs away from a large supermarket stocking everything you'll need and as for choice of restaurants in walking distance, spoilt for choice.

I would like to say a huge thank you to Tracey who manages the property. Any questions or queries we had prior to going out there were answered very promptly which gave us great comfort, perfect service.

Wonderful Stay at a lovely apartment

Our family of 4 have just enjoyed a fantastic fortnight's holiday at this apartment. The apartment was really modern, clean and comfortable, and had everything there to make it a real 'home away from home'. The complex itself is very well maintained and the pool was a great bonus for the lazy days at base. Location couldn't have been better - a 2 minute walk to 'the strip' where there is so many quality restaurants to choose from. The fantastic golden sandy beaches are a further 5 minute walk. The owner Joanne has been very informative all along, and we have had a great holiday, and would definitely recommend this property. Thank you very much.

Too noisy and poor standard of cleaning

The apartment is located next to a large warehouse which is very noisy due to deliveries and levels of noise from those who work in it. When we arrived our first impression was good with the internal facilities however the outside, balconies were filthy and the one upstairs was like a building site. The furnishings were also dirty and took several washings before we could use them. In contrast the connecting apartments exterior were modern and clean. To add to our misery the washing machine did not work properly and left clothes soaked and dirty. We stayed for 2 weeks and within that time there was no cleaner, no change of bedding or towels, which are all essential. There was also no internet and a dated television set. I would sadly not recommend this apartment which could have be great, as there is a new kitchen and downstairs bathroom but too many negatives for us. We never received any correspondence from the owner during our stay.

Owner's Response: I am sorry that you felt that on this occasion that standard's were not met. whilst we endeavour to keep all the newly refurbished terraced area's clean and dust free,from time to time this volcanic Island catches the sand storm's known as clema's .....The outside furnishing's are covered and should be tied down. Our cleaning standard's are very high as you can see from other review's, the washing machine is 9 month's old and is available for the sole use of my guest's and instruction's of easy use have been left in the booklet that is provided before arrival. A mid week clean is available if requested and an extra charge to be paid directly to the cleaner's. As a community we have asked for Wifi but have not been successful to date. The 26inch flat screen may seem dated given the tech spec's on a lot of T.v.s but i have mentioned to guests before travel that i will be purchasing a larger tv next year when i can come over. I trust you found the new craftmatic bed comfortable and the rest of the interior to your taste. Please note that this is not a full time business venture ,just one of sharing our home abroad. Telephone number 'sare available in the welcome book and any problem's or concern's can be reported. I am unable to contact my guest's on arrival due to many commitment's and would only hope that i would be contacted if needed.

Relaxing Break

We enjoyed a nice relaxing weeks stay at this apartment in June. The apartment was as exactly what we expected based on the desciption and photographs displayed on this site, it was very clean and well maintained. Four of us stayed here (2 couples), and with there being 2 floors and 2 seperate bathrooms it was very convenient for us all to be able to have our own space. All of the amenities in the apartment worked fine in the kitchen etc and the pool area was spacious with plenty of sunloungers. The location was ideal as it was only a couple of minutes stroll down a flat road to the main strip, and it also has 2 good size supermarkets close by. The owner was very approachable and helpful with any questions.

apartment review

My son and I spent a very quiet and enjoyable week at this apartment in February. The location was very convenient to the clean and well tended beaches and the abundance of fine eateries. The apartment itself was well equipped and well appointed. We particularly liked the secluded sun terrace off the second bedroom and spent most afternoons chilling out with our books and cold beers. We will definitely like to go back next year and am happy to recommended this apartment to others.

Lovely holiday appartment

We stayed here at Easter and had a lovely holiday. The complex is amazingly quiet and beautifully maintained. This apartment was like a home from home with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The shops, bars and restaurants were only a minute or two walk around the corner. Our booking was handled very smoothly by Joanne and we look forward to staying there again soon.
