The prices quoted per week are for up to four people. and an extra two people can be accommodated at a cost of £75 per person per week.

The Villa is in an enviable location set half way between Funchal Town Centre and Reids Palace Hotel. Lovely sea, mountain and town views from both balconies. Plenty of space. Fourth bedroom has an adult size day bed. Lovely patio/garden with a variety of interesting plants. There is an excellent selection of restaurants within Walking distance. The Casino with excellent dinner/floor shows is nearby. Quality and interesting furnishings. Regular bus services to various parts of the island are within a very short walk. All in all an ideal location for a special holiday. WIFI is available.

My name is Richard T S Harris and I have been into Holiday Letting for over 21 years now. Elaine, my partner, and I own this Villa and are happy to offer it to the Holiday Letting market when we are not using it. It is in a very convenient location being a short walk downhill into the Town Centre with a big variety of shops, restaurants and places of interest,. There is a regular bus service just a short distance from the Villa with buses going in all directions.

I currently run Best of Brighton & Sussex Cottages from my home in Rottingdean, Sussex with some 85 properties available on a self catering basis throughout Brighton & Hove and in Rottingdean, Lewes, Eastbourne and Shoreham

Notes on accommodation: This is high standard of accommodation throughout. Outside: Two very nice the top you have what we call the morning terrace with lovely views of the mountains, town and a distant view of the sea. Lower down there is the afternoon terrace, with sun from midday onwards with a sea view. Finally a lovely patio garden with a variety of interesting plants and shrubs, table, bench and chairs, plus a large Avocada tree. Nearby is the harbour/port and from here there are regular boat trips to the lovely, rather dry, island of Porto Santo with its fantastic 9 Km long sandy beach. Utility Room: n/a/ Washing machine is outside(under cover). Where there is also a barbecue. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All beds are made up with fresh linen and towels, changed each week for bookings of at least two weeks.

The centre of Funchal is a 15 minute walk away. with a beach or there are two very nice man-made beaches... one in an easterly direction which can be reached in 30 minutes by bus and the other in a Westerly direction which is slightly further away.


Ferry to Porto Santo is within walking distance. The airport is a 25 minute taxi ride away.


There are lots of places of interest to visit. Monte is one of the most popular accessible by bus or cable car.

Further Details:

Shops and restaurants are plentiful in Funchal and closer to the villa there is a choice of a few high quality restaurants.
