If your expectation of apartment holiday accommodation is sharing a pool and having less space than a villa in which to spread out and relax on holiday, think again as Elif Penthouse offers all a normal villa has but more. The Elif penthouse offers a luxury villa type experience.

The accommodation is arranged on two levels and is truly exceptional with a spectacular pool and sun decks that clings to the side of the apartment affording incredible sea and mountain views.

Three large bedrooms, two with large sea view balconies and en suite bathrooms mean that apartment will comfortably accommodate 6 guests. Master bedroom suite guests will be particularly pampered with very spacious room super king size bed sea and mountain views balcony and private luxury marble and glass en suite.

However, it's not just the accommodation that make the apartment so special, the location amidst Olive groves offers the compelling combination of great views, easy walking access to town (10 minutes) and importantly peace and privacy amongst the olive trees and with mountain view backdrops.

The accommodation in detail. Apartment C4. Arranged over 2 floors Penthouse apartment C4 offers over 1400 square feet/120 sqm of internal living space and additionally large private decks and pool. On the top floor, full width floor to ceiling glass doors that give access to the wrap around terrace and suspended swimming pool, open up spectacular views out to sea, and across to the mountains with outside dining tables and sun loungers for 6 by the pool with bbq.

The internal living space is cleverly arranged to maximise the impact of these views, and comprises lounge and dining areas, cloakroom and a very well equipped kitchen with granite work surfaces and breakfast bar.

The kitchen is partially separated from the rest of the living space. Spacious lounge area with sofas viewing the sea views and pool. Marble stairs from the living space lead to the floor below (the buildings second floor) where 2 king size bedrooms and a twin bedroom accommodate up to 6 guests very comfortably indeed.

The master bedroom suite features a beautifully appointed bathroom, with wet room shower and a furnished balcony, with plenty of space to sunbath, dine, or enjoy the view with your morning coffee. On a further mezzanine level down there is a further king en suite bedroom, again with sea view balcony, and a large twin bedroom on this floor that has open views over the mountains.

There is also storage, spacious hallways and utilities space for washing machine.

The entrance to the penthouse is through a large shared garden of mature olive trees and exotic plantings adding to the privacy and serenity of the penthouse

We arrived early morning to find the villa lived up to every word of its promise.

A very modern , spacious and well furnished property. All fittings and fixtures top class - every item you could wish for.

Fantastic Master Bedroom -( this was large enough to be an apartment itself !) with a large balcony - superb open plan lounge which opened on to the pool / patio. The Wi Fi very good which pleased my sons.

The owners had given advice and assistance before the holiday which was very appreciated - they even left us a welcome pack & some wine and beer (which was demolished on arrival).

All in all a superb property i would recommend without hesitation and would return again as soon as possible - thanks for a great holiday !

The property was just as displayed on the website.

It was clean and spacious and comfortable. The furniture and decor was in pristine condition, and there were good additional touches i.e. Laundry soap, washing up liquid and sponges etc. Little things that are often not provided that one often has to buy.

Unfortunately there was problems with the TV signal so we were unable to take advantage of the English channels and Sky package, but Alan Williams did his very best to get things sorted, was quick to communicate and very apologetic when the issues could not be resolved.

A well maintained and perfectly clean apartment is always a good starting point. Top marks there.

Hosting, contact and information was very prompt, efficient and never lacking. Transfers to and form the property were organised with a local firm guaranteeing a good deal and hassle free journeys, to what is often the most frustrating and depressing part of any holiday. Again full marks.

Plenty of space in the apartment with very comfortable beds and furniture. Sleep is a big part of relaxing and enjoying a holiday, so it is important that the beds are new. Many stays are ruined when after an amazing day one lays tossing and turning in an uncomfortable bed. No problems here - apart from my snoring maybe!?!

Good views from the terraces and pool area. Cleaned everyday the pool is well maintained, perfect for cooling off but to avoid any disappointment not big enough for a proper swim. Why anyone would feel the need to have to swim in the pool though when there is a massive big blue wobbly thing nearby ... namely, the sea. Crystal clear blue waters in the harbour, bays and beaches. Very buoyant, so good for the little ones too.

Local amenities are fine, and only a short walk to the harbour (town centre) where there is a large selection of restaurants and bars to accommodate for most tastes.

Very good value for money and well worth a visit. Thanks.

BEAUTIFUL, AIRY, SPACIOUS APARTMENT

We a family of 6 stayed just over a week in this lovely apartment in picturesque Kalkan....the pool was very welcoming in the blistering heat of July Kalkan and the apartment was well suited to our needs...like a home from home in terms of household amenities. Deniz the manageress was especially helpful and went out of her way to accomodate our needs. There's alot to do in and around Kalkan but some of the activities can be a bit pricey when theres a lot of you...we got around this by hiring a taxi and doing a lot of the tours by ourselves...which was very convenient in terms of being at liberty to come and go as you please. For instance we went to Patara Beach very early in the morning when it was more or less deserted and left when the sun became too hot for us.

We bbqed a lot buying the fantastically fresh food from the local shops and markets....i ate the best fish ever there and the fruit and veggies were out of this world. Everything in the apartment was clean and fresh...and easy to use. Having a private pool was a big, big plus for us and espescially that at the time we went it wasnt overlooked by others which meant a lot to us.

Beautiful holiday

Kalkan is a beautiful place with many activities for all age groups

The diving is spectacular

The apartment was exactly as described very modern plenty of room and very homely

Alan the owner was helpful every step of the process and a perfect gentleman to deal with we cannot recommend kalkan and the apartment enough it was my fist time in turkey and totally fell in love with the place five stars is not enough of a rating

Fabulous penthouse apartment in a great position

Fantastic apartment within walkable distance of the town and the many fabulous restaurants in Kalkan. There were four of us on holidays (two couples) and the apartment was a great base to explore Kalkan. It was extremely clean and very well cared for. The beds were amazing - think they are probably the best we have ever slept on in a rented property. The towels and outside furniture were of excellent quality and the roof top pool was an absolute joy and a must especially on days when the temperatures hit 35 plus. When we arrived we found there was no hairdryer but within a few hours of contacting the owner a brand new hair dryer was brought to the apartment - great service. The pool was exceptionally clean and very well looked after with the cleaner calling every other day to check it. It is extremely well equipped plenty of cutlery, crockery and the most important wine and beer glasses. There was very efficient air conditioning throughout which we were very grateful for in the temperatures we experienced. The welcome pack when we arrived at midnight was very well received a nice cold glass of wine was just what we needed and hit the exact spot. There are some wonderful restaurants in Kalkan like Trio, Seaport, Kalamaki, Mussakka, Paprika and Moonlight Terrace Restaurant (views to die for) to name just a few but we didn't experience one poor meal anywhere. The people are amongst some of the friendliest we have ever met and will do their utmost to please you but without being too pushy. We can't fault the apartment in any way it was a joy to stay in and would recommend it and Kalkan to everyone.

We had been looking for some years but settled on Elif because of its location which is private but close to the old town and water, the modern and very spacious accommodation, quality of build that we saw and for the great sea and mountain views and private pool, plus friendly construction and maintenance teams that we continue to use to look after the property

We enjoy the privacy, space, views and design and because of green areas in from and along side feels unencumbered from other properties. It feels more like a villa with complete privacy It feels like a modern home away from home and is truly relaxing to sit outside and feel the breeze and admire the stars and harbour lights at nights. We love the local food and surrounding areas and often go to the markets or go up to the local country areas including the trout farms and vineyards.
