About the property

Cottage near Wadebridge, Cornwall, England - Very Peaceful, Surrounded By Acres Of Private Land And Forestry. Only 20 Minutes From The Beach

A stunning bolt hole set amongst the wilds of North Cornwall. Dibbles Cottage is perfectly located for a stunning break in Cornwall. Perched on the edge of the valley overlooking Hustyn woods, Dibble's is the perfect place to come and relax and wind down from the stress of everyday life. Positioned within striking distance of both the dramatic North coast and the soft undulating hills of the south but we don't think you'll want to be going anywhere for the first couple of days!

About Richard Pack

We're Richard and Niki and have a young family. Richard is a photographer and Niki is a producer and trainer of young event horses.

Richard was bought up in Cornwall in the very house they now live in, Niki is from just outside Cirencester in Gloucestershire.

We are passionate about where we live and can't wait to share it with others.

Whether it's spring, summer, autumn or winter, there's so much to do around here.

We look forward to meeting you.

Richard and Niki

Richard Pack purchased this barn in 2013

Why Richard Pack chose St Breock

Richard grew up there but that I aside, we couldn't find anywhere more peaceful or beautiful. It's perfectly remote yet only three miles from the supermarket ! Close to the North and South coasts and out of the craziness of mid summer !

What makes this barn unique

It truly is unique, you'll struggle to find a Cornish gem better than this one. Whether you love, walking, cycling, surfing or just plain chilling !

Tranquil and beautiful

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at Dibbles cottage in mid March. The cottage is beautifully decorated, clean and in a very peaceful setting (no car noise, no plane noise, only birdsong!). The verandah is very comfortable to sit out in the evenings, and there is a private little patio area at the back for BBQs etc. Inside the cottage has everything we needed for our stay. Richard was very helpful giving us suggestions of where we could eat and places to visit. This is the best spec cottage we have stayed in with Owners Direct, and we will come back again. Lovely place!

Secluded and peaceful

  • 5 of 5

The cottage is perfectly situated to explore the North coast of Cornwall, within easy drive of Padstow, Tintagel and Boscastle. Lots to do in the area from coastal walks to cycle rides to wine tasting!

The cottage itself has a cosy feel, and had everything you would need for a romantic home from home stay!

Richard was helpful and on hand when needed, but otherwise left us to have a peaceful and secluded week.

Perfect stay!

  • 4 of 5

We found a lovely cottage and a caring owner. The cottage is well equipped and for us with an accompanying Lab it was a perfect spot for easy walking right out of the cottage. The location is perfect to explore Bodmin Moor and many other places. Wadebridge is a nice little town. We found the place with Richard exceptional, especially the landscape!

The Perfect Retreat

  • 5 of 5

For a few days away in the heart of the Cornish countryside Dibbles Cottage is the perfect choice. A rustic cottage on the outside but with every modern convenience inside, modernised to an amazingly high standard. It is in a stunning location surrounded by woodland and the owner, Richard, could not have been more welcoming even when we arrived two hours early!

Located just outside Wadebridge it is within easy reach of Padstow, Port Isaac and Newquay and only forty minutes to the Eden project in St Austell, so plenty to see and do.

I would recommend Dibbles cottage to anyone and it would certainly be my first choice when visiting Cornwall in the future.
