Notes on accommodation: The pool area is accessible from one of the bedrooms so unsuitable for very young children without supervision. Outside: Gated and fenced area of gardens set in almond groves. Pretty garden surrounding the house. Very sheltered and secluded Swimming pool area, private pool roughly 8m x 3.5m x 1.5m which is solar-heated and has built-in steps. Large garden house for cushions and outdoor furniture and many options of sun beds and Easter egg sun beds, and lovely rattan furniture with comfy cushions. 2 dining tables and many other smaller options also. BBQ and outside drink fridge. Solar heating and outdoor shower. Utility Room: 2 washing machines and all BBQ equipment Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All bedlinen and bath/pool towels provided. Cleaning on changeover day only for a one week stay or mid-week clean for 2 week stay. More possible by special request and extra. Beds and towels changed weekly unless requested more as an extra. Other: Wifi is available throughout. Satellite TV with many English channels available in upstairs sitting area.

Peaceful and Complete

The villa enjoys a rural setting 10 minutes stroll from the village centre, it is tastefully furnished to a high standard. The interior and exterior design offers different perspectives and opportunities for guests to join together or nestle into their own private sanctuary. The house has ample parking and easy access to major roads for exploring the island. We enjoyed a truly relaxing holiday and warmly recommend it.

Relaxing holiday in quiet location - lovely villa and pool.

Lovely villa, nicely decorated with some homely comforts and nice touches on a HUGE plot of land (possibly over 1 acre) with a lovely enclosed south facing pool area. Loved the side patio area outside the kitchen and living room which had a big permanent awning over that acted as both shade and windbreak. The gate between the pool area and side covered patio will be useful for families with young children. Lots and lots of garden furniture and a couple of great tables for eating out on. Played many games of table-tennis but would recommend taking a couple of extra ping-pong balls in case you tread on one.... or two. Felt very secure behind the big iron gates and slept well at night on comfortable beds in air-conditioned bedrooms. Worth checking out if its mosquito season and grab yourself some plug-in repellents before coming over. Would definitely recommend a car as is a little remote from the village of Buger (and other villas), let alone other towns and villages on the island - but if it’s a quiet retreat you're after, that's what you'll get here. Would also recommend a trip out to the Port de Pollenca (20mins) or Alcudia (15mins) for dinner and walks along the prom. The mountain-goat trip up the hair-pin roads leading to Playa de Formentor were hair raising and fabulous at the same time. All-in-all, a lovely villa, pool and location for those seeking a peaceful holiday away from the tourist hot-spots.

Peaceful paradise!!

My family of 4 spent two fantastic weeks in this villa. The location is very peaceful, very private but not isolated for getting out and about to enjoy all Mallorca has to offer.

The weather was so hot during our stay we actually spent most of the holiday in and around the villa - it was absolute bliss! The layout is excellent, with a main bedroom upstairs and the other 2 bedrooms in their own 'wing' downstairs, each with their own bathroom. Kitchen is well equipped, with direct access to an outside covered eating area. Gardens are well maintained and delightful, and the pool was also very well maintained with regular cleaning. A real bonus was the pool solar heating - which is lovely to have even when the weather is hot!

Serena was very helpful leading up to and also during our stay - many thanks!!

This was the best Villa holiday we have had, and cannot recommend this villa enough.

Stunning house, wonderful location - we had a fantastic holiday!

What can I say that hasn't been said on here already! We have had the most wonderful, relaxing holiday at Son Siona. The house is just beautiful, as soon as we drove in through the gates, it felt like we were coming home. Our boys (16, 13 and 9) just loved the pool. The house is spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The gardens are fabulous (Juan does an excellent job looking after the grounds!), the kitchen is very well equipped and we ate in quite a few nights. Our eldest son was very happy to have his own huge bedroom and bathroom! The location is peaceful, yet close to all the amenities.

We loved going out to eat in Pollenca in the evenings and went to the beach at Alcudia a few times - although we preferred it by the pool, away from all the crowds! Palma, Soller and Deia are all a must (Magaluf best avoided!).

We highly recommend Son Siona and will definitely be returning in the future!

Gorgeous Villa in peaceful setting

We have just had an extremely relaxing week staying in Serena's gorgeous villa near the tiny village of Buger on the north east corner of Majorca. The villa is so pretty from the whitewashed walls to the grey washed beams, cool floor tiles and my favourite Lewis & Wood fabric curtains. The gardens are equally beautiful with agapanthus in pots, white gaura nodding in the breeze and a pool to dip in when it gets too hot. It is a great base to start from to discover the delights of the island and easy driving to Deia, Pollenca and Soller. We went cliff jumping and ate out at great restaurants within half an hours drive in various directions. The children loved the table tennis too! It was very hot whilst we were there and so the air conditioned bedrooms were extremely well appreciated. The kitchen had everything you could need to cook with but eating out was very reasonable so we only really made use of the BBQ! A super villa in a lovely village location.

Fabulous spacious Villa. Well appointed in both facilities and location.

Party of 6 family adults. Great to have private bathrooms for each couple. Pool and outside areas were again well appointed and spacious. Inside furniture very comfortable and felt like a real home. Gardens really lovely and colourful... Plus lots of herbs (which we may have stolen a few). Location perfect for exploring the island and in close proximity to supermarkets etc. Lots to see and do (As Pobla was great). Ideal villa for families. Thank you Serena.

Further Details:

Buger has a bank, small but very adequate supermarket, chemist, post office and baker and a small market on Saturdays. There are 3 basic bar/restaurants.

There is a local music festival in June. The tradition in this area is traditional musical instrument making.

sa Pobla and Inca both have three large supermarkets and many restaurants and shops. there is a market most days close by.
