Chalet Croix des Pècles is a very popular chalet, located in the highly desirable area of Les Pècles.
This comfortable and modern chalet sleeps up to 10 people in 5 bedrooms, arranged to suit your needs whether you are a group of singles or couples. With spectacular views of Mont Blanc and a stones throw from the many shops/bars and restaurants the location couldn't be better. Following a challenging day on the slopes you can have dinner enjoying the mountain views and then curl up in front of the large open fire with a DVD, or head into town to one of the many restaurants.
Chalet Croix des Pècles has 5 bedrooms, one of which is a separate studio. The studio has its own front door and stunning Mont Blanc views. It has an en suite shower room and a kitchen, equipped with its own oven, hob and fridge freezer. The large master bedroom has an en suite shower room and a separate dressing room. Floor to ceiling windows open onto a balcony, again with Mont Blanc views. The further 3 bedrooms consist of 1 double and 2 twin rooms, made up with 2 single beds each. These twin rooms could be made up as doubles. All beds have pocket sprung mattresses, white goose feather duvets and high quality bed linen.
There is a large open plan living area with comfortable sofas arranged around an open fireplace. This has a 50" 3D HD flat screen TV with Blu-ray and FreeSat and a surround sound system which can also be used to play music from guests devices. The living area leads onto a dining area which is perfect for cosy dinner parties. Both the living and dining areas have large panoramic windows which open out onto a full length balcony where you can sit and enjoy the spectacular mountain views.
The dining area leads into a well equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar. The kitchen has a 5 ring gas hob with oven, dishwasher, fridge freezer and microwave. There is oak flooring and underfloor heating throughout the living area.
On the ground floor there is a large boot room with seating and storage for boots, skis and other equipment. A laundry area with a washing machine and dryer has an iron and ironing board.
Outside there is parking for 2 cars and a south facing garden. A garden table, benches and a BBQ are provided for use in the summer.
We love the area and all it has to offer. Initially we were attracted by the skiing - both the diversity of the different ski areas but also the amazing off piste terrain.
In addition to the skiing you can go hiking, biking, climbing, canyoning, paragliding - the list of activities is almost endless.
Chamonix town has a charm, all the facilities you could want all year round, and the people are friendly - sharing a common love of the outdoors.
The scenery is breathtaking - being home to Europe's highest mountain, Mont Blanc and over 40 glaciers, and all of this is a short 90 min drive from Geneva airport.
Great location in a desirable area of Chamonix, a short walk to all facilities. South facing, so on the sunny side of the valley, with amazing uninterrupted mountain views.
The chalet is a large (210m3) and comfortable modern chalet with many facilities.
Exceptional value. Great location and uninterrupted views of Mont Blanc.
Large comfortable chalet with modern furnishings and high quality furniture and bedding.
A short, flat walk to the town centre.
We had an amazing stay thanks. The chalet was very comfortable and it was great to come back after a hard day mountain biking and relax on the balcony with its amazing views.

The living area is brilliant, as the the master and the 2 twin rooms. The location is good, with a ski hire shop close and brilliant. A good location for us. The owner also very helpful.
Only criticism was that 2 of the bedrooms weren't brilliant. One very small, and can only use the bathroom upstairs. The other, a basement, which was fine other than the sofa bed which is never ideal.
A good base for the money though.
This was our first time in Chamonix but our 9th snowboarding trip to the area. Booking the chalet was simple and the owner was in contact frequently with helpful information. The chalet itself is lovely. Massive kitchen, seating for 10 people and loads of sofas and chairs round the huge tv. One double bed is off the kitchen and the other 3 upstairs. The master bedroom has a walk in wardrobe bigger than some double rooms we have had before! Large shower in the ensuite and a separate bathroom next door with bath. Really can’t complain about anything, a hot tub would be the icing on the cake for this amazing place but that’s a rare find in central Chamonix. Book this place, you won’t have any disappointments. Thanks for an amazing stay we will definitely book again.
The chalet is perfectly located on a quiet road but is conveniently, only a short walk to the centre of town.
Very cosy with the fire easy to get going thanks to an abundance of well seasoned logs. Bed was very comfy and the views spectacular. Couldn't ask for more.
Would recommend to anyone.
We had a really good holiday here. It's a really comfy, spacious chalet with amazing views of the mountains. The town centre is a stone's throw away if you want to go out at night, or if you stay in, there's an open fire and a big TV. It was good value for money, and we'll definitely be coming back.

We had a fabulous 5 night stay at the property. It was spacious, modern, spotlessly clean and comfortable with plenty of hot water. It was very well equipped and met our needs perfectly. Communication with the owner, Esme was prompt and straightforward and I would definitely recommend it to friends and family. The walk into town was 10-15 mins. We stored our skis in a locker in town, close to one of the main bus stops. This avoided us having to walk back to the chalet in our ski boots and lugging our skis with us which was a good move. The only downside was coming home!!
Having never experienced a skiing holiday before, we were somewhat in the dark. Fortunately, we found this little gem, along with it's fantastic owner! This is an absolutely beautiful fully equipped chalet within walking distance of town centre & it made our dream of the perfect Christmas a reality. Esme was amazing, she was in constant contact to ensure everything ran smoothly & her help with booking ski equipment & lessons was invaluable. Thoroughly recommended!
