Villa in Ayamonte, Costa de la Luz, Spain - Peaceful Location

This stunning and beautifully presented 6 bedroom villa set in the Urbanization of Villa Antonia is ideal for family holidays. With extensive exterior tiled floor space, kidney shape swimming pool surrounded with dark wood decking this villa offers complete privacy for the perfect relax and chill out. Ample covered parking easily sufficient for 3 cars and there is a BBQ which can be moved to suite the chef!

There is a covered hot tub is situated to the side of the villa and a further covered area with wooden decking.

From the secure entrance garden gate and tiled front terrace and pool area, with sun loungers and parasol, the are steps leading up to the front door and terrace area with bougainvillea pots and terrace furniture (sofa,arm chairs and coffee table) You will find bar football and a full size snooker table as well as ample shaded area with patio tables and chairs for al fresco dining.

The villa is tiled throughout with traditional marble flooring and the hallway entrance leads to a stylishly furnished open plan kitchen dining and lounge area.

The modern and spacious kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would need for that home to home experience. Large double door opening fridge freezer, oven and hob, dishwasher, eye and base level units with large cupboards housing plentiful crockery, glassware and cutlery. Additional kitchenware and electrical items include, kettle, microwave, meat carver, ice crusher, juicer, ice cream maker, coffee percolator, hand blender, food blender, pressure cooker and more!

The dining area has a large farmhouse style table with chairs and complimenting furniture. and the spacious lounge area has 2 large leather sofas, glass coffee table, dresser, chest of drawers, open hearth fire, large flat screen TV with English and Spanish channels and WIFI access. All windows have fixed mosquito blinds and chord pull open and close shutter blinds.

From the kitchen area, stairs lead down to the basement area housing the washing machine. There is a useable sink for hand washing clothes and ample space for airers.

All bedrooms are located from the entrance and hallway area.

Bedroom 1 has a double bed, bedside table, double wardrobe and dressers and an en-suite with enclosed shower, double sink area, toilet and bidet and heated wall radiator.

Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds, double wardrobe, bedside table and dresser

Bedroom 3 has 2 single beds and double wardrobe

Bedroom 4 has a double red, bedside tables double wardrobe and dresser

Bedroom 5 has 2 single beds , bedside table, double wardrobe and shoe storage dresser

Bedroom 6 has double bed with dresser.

The villa has A/C.

There 2 further bathrooms are accessed from the hallway

1 with bath/shower with screen, double sink area and toilet.

2nd with walk in shower, double sink area and toilet.

This is a charming villa with traditional character, ample space both inside and outside is a must for family holidaymakers.

Casa mal cuidada y publicidad engañosa

1. En el anuncio de la casa ofrecen fotos de una barbacoa de obra grande y espléndida. Cuando llegamos allí nos encontramos con que la barbacoa está rota, inservible y llena de telarañas. En su lugar nos ofrecen una barbacoa portatil pequeña y cutre

2. Del baño del fondo del pasillo sale un olor a cloaca que se extiende por el pasillo que da a las habitaciones, es muy desagradable

3. La puerta del otro baño se atranca y te puedes quedar encerrado dentro, asi que acabamos optando por no cerrarla del todo. Un show

4. La puerta del garaje no funciona. Hay que bajarse del coche, entrar a pie por la puerta pequeña al otro lado del patio y abrir la del garaje a mano. Asi cada vez

5. Hay dos sombrillas en la piscina y las dos están rotas.

6. La mesa de billar está combada y todas las bolas ruedan hacia el centro de la mesa, imposible jugar

7. La puerta de la nevera no cierra bien y tienes que dejar una silla apoyada a modo de contrapeso si quieres que enfríe

8. La hielera no funciona

La dueña nos explicaba que “en una casa con estos años, es normal que haya estos pequeños fallos”

Sin embargo, cuando dejamos la casa, limpia, fregada y en el mismo estado que nos la dieron, se negaron en rotundo a revisar la casa estando nosotros delante. Y cuando ya estábamos de vuelta en Madrid, nos mandaron una lista de supuestos daños de vergüenza, para quitarnos de la fianza:

Marcas en las paredes (“por matar una araña”, me dice), un plato descascarillado, una mancha en la mesa de billar, que ya estaba allí cuando llegamos. Y un supuesto ajuste en la tapa del jacuzzi por el que “habían tenido que llamar al servicio técnico" pero cuya factura misteriosamente no tenían. Necesitaron dos semanas para buscar una.

Poor translation for english travelers:

For a house this expensive we expected,

- A garaje door that worked

- A barbecue as promised in the advertisement, and not the small, portable, shabby one you really have.

- A restroom which didn´t smell like hell the whole week

- A pool table not crooked so every ball rolls to the center on its own free will.

- A restroom door which doesn´t threaten to imprison you every time you need to go.

- A fridge you don't need to close by putting a chair against the door

- Owners who didn't try to retain your damage deposit over ridiculous or pre-existent damages, such as wall marks, a chipped plate, a pre-existent pool table stain, or that hot tub cover realignment whose invoice you misteriously needed two weeks to provide

Owner's Response: In reply to the review above we take these comments very seriously. The biggest BBQ was supplied and used, moved all round the patio with fat stains on the floor tiles and utensils left dirty. The toilet functions perfectly as does the toilet door. Perhaps you should limit alcohol intake and eat better food before using bathrooms to avoid blockages and bad smells. Garage gate functions perfectly, opens and closes manually with a key lock. The uneven billiard table beggars belief as pool table has fully adjustable feet. If guests limited the amount of alcohol they drank they would see the table is level and not damage the felt by spilling alcohol. Furthermore the 4 pool pots on the table football were used as ashtrays with butts and ash left inside, in the villa, in the flower pots and on the terrace floor. Freezer door closes perfectly. Perhaps you forgot to close it properly when grabbing ice for your alcoholic drinks. All chargeable items were substantiated by photographs and invoices. Furthermore, we had numerous complaints from neighbours concerning late night music and drinking in to the early hours.. In total there were 6 adults who rented our villa. You cannot expect owners to pay for the damage you cause. The hot tub cover arm, you already confirmed you broke this during his stay and confirmed you would pay for it. Invoices were supplied via the website so clearly this is a lie to suit purpose. We would not recommend this guest- not the type who should be staying in a villa and using it as a party house. Evidence was supplied to owners direct with photos and invoices and the claim was settled via their website so 100% valid.. Please check our property listings and guest comments to see this is the first bad person we have ever had staying at our property in the last 5 years. On a finishing note, Gibraltar is British. PLEASE TRANSLATE TO SPANISH FOR FULL REPLY.
