Very central four bedrooms apartment in Granada - Easy access and private parking space.

The property is located at the lower South-East end of Granada's main shopping street, "Calle Recogidas", ideally placed for a very easy exploration of the town. A gentle stroll up Calle Recogidas and you reach the Gothic part of the town in just 10 minutes, with the cathedral and surrounding areas. Continuing North-West for 10 more minutes you reach Plaza Nueva, the gate to the Arab part of the town, with its famous Alhambra and Albaizin quarters.

The apartment is right at the heart of the commercial part of the town, where most of its famous "Tapas Bar" are concentrated, yet the apartment itself is very quite. Indeed, most bedrooms have windows to quite streets, while the living area open to ample streets and squares, so that it is full of light.

Granada may be cold in winter and hot in summer, but certainly not in this apartment. Central heating and full house Air Conditioning assures that you have the right temperature all year around.

If you come to Granada by car, the apartment has an easy connection with the main motorway. Additionally, you can park the car right at the property, since the parking garage and the apartment are in the same building. So, jump out of the car and take the elevator home, that simple. In a town full of history like Granada (but with small streets and sometimes complicated access), easy access and parking may be quite convenient. If your prefer to take a bus, there are plenty of bus stops in a radius of less than 50 meters

Standard price is 100E/night for an occupancy of 4 guests, add 15E/day/guest until a maximum of 8 guests. Weekly price is 550E for 4 guests, add 70E/week for each additional guest. A one-car parking space is already included in the price.

About Jose Maria

We are a Spanish couple in our fifties, living in Madrid. We know the Granada area very well, since we were born the two of us in that beautiful town.

We enjoy going back to Granada from time to time, but we seldom manage to do so more than a couple of times during the year, and never for too long.

We wanted to have a house in town, very central, close to everything and yet quite..... and this is the house you are renting. A true family house carefully selected to provide a very pleasant stay in town.

Why Jose Maria chose Granada

We are, my wife and me, from Granada. We were born there and, obviously, we know very well the town.

We wanted to have an apartment very close to the center but modern, quite but near to all attractions, with a parking spot and easy access when you arrive in town.... and this is the place you are now renting: The house we chose as a perfect combination for a stay in Granada.

What makes this apartment unique

The property is at the corner of the main shopping street of Granada, "Recogidas", less than a hundred meter to some of the best tapas quarters in town, with very easy access by car, with its own parking area, and very close to the main touristic spots of Granada.

Of course, since we know very well the area, we can advice you some of the best places to go, perhaps not in tourist guides. We can also help you booking for visits and attractions as a "local", probably at a substantially reduced cost than using other channels, more targeted to tourists

Great Apartment

We were a group of three couples in our late twenties/early therties, and we were looking for an apartment large enough for everybody to have its own space, very central, and with a parking garage in the same building... and that is exactly what we got! When we arrived at Granada, Alvaro, Jose Maria's nephew, was already waiting for us to show us around the house. We then realized how large and clean the apartment was: we never felt cramped. It is in the center of Granada but yet, really quiet. You can go walking anywhere (Granada is not a good town for driving a car). There were lots of bars and restaurantes around, as well as several small supermarkets. We tried a couple of the bars Jose Maria recomended, and we really liked them. We will definitly stay here again.

Lovely Third Floor Apartment with Parking Space

Great apartment on Camino de Ronda, just 10 minutes walk from the cathedral and Plaza Nueva, another 10-15 minutes up the hill to the Alhambra or viewing areas of the Albaicin. The parking spot was easy to navigate in a small car and was a bonus. Alvaro met us and was a great help throughout, always available to answer a question.

Awesome apartment!

We were two couples biking through southern Spain and stayed at this apartment for 3 nights. The checkin was very easy and the apartment had everything we needed, plus extras. The small things such as salt and pepper,olive oil and even washing machine soap came in very handy. The location of the apartment was very close to all sites. I would highly recommend staying at this very large, clean and beautiful apartment.

I want to live here permanently!

Spacious, conveniently located, peaceful, bathed in sunshine (especially the long, magical hallway!), high ceilings, QUIET, French doors that open to the street, accommodating owner, professional, super helpful staff (VICTOR!). My family loved this apartment and we're already trying to come up with excuses to do a longer stay as soon as possible! We felt totally at home.

Spacious, comfortable Granada apartment.

We were very happy with the apartment and especially with our helpful hosts. Jose- Maria was not on site but replied very promptly to my queries on line and via email when we were en route.To greet us was his nephew Alvaro who had cleaned the apartment thoroughly and was very helpful when we had difficulty getting a taxi for the bus station on the last day.

It was well equipped and we found the walk to all the sites easy enough. There were plenty of shops and restaurants around the apartment and we tried the Rhodri restaurant nearby as recommended by Jose- Maria. This was a busy,jolly, authentic tapas place frequented I think largely by locals, good fun and interesting food.

I have read in the review that the apartment was tired, decor wise but I thought it was good value for money and very comfortable especially in February, it was warm as promised.

We found everyone in the city helpful and the owner and his nephew were good examples of this.

I would not hesitate to recommend this place to my friends.

Great apartment

The apartment was very large, it is ideal for a family. The location is good, nearby good restaurants, supermarkets etcetara. To get to the main sights of the city, Alhambra, Cathedral etc, it can be a bit of a hike when walking (30-45 mins) there but it leads you through a nice and busy shopping street. However taxi rides are very cheap, they will bring you for 4 euro to the port of Alhambra.

In the apartment all amenities are available, wifi, TV, large kitchen will all necessary appliances (although you will not find yourself eating in with plenty great restaurants for dinner and coffee houses, for a cappuccino and fresh bread to start the day, in the area.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay in this apartment!

We are, my wife and me, from Granada. We were born there and, obviously, we know very well the town. We wanted to have an apartment very close to the center but modern, quite but near to all attractions, with a parking spot and easy access when you arrive in town.... and this is the place you are now renting: The house we chose as a perfect combination for a stay in Granada.

Special interest holidays:

A visit to a rich cultural town like Granada has many facets attached to it. Certainly you already know about Alhambra and the arab quarter of Albaicin. Probably you also know about the famous Granada Tapas and its flamenco dancing.... but there is much more to see!

Profiting from the fact that we are "locals" and we know very well Granada,

at the time of booking we will be sending a small Guide with very good local tips. We will also be offering you the posibility to join a Private Flameco Club for the length of your stay, where you will be able to attend true (non-tourist) Flamenco performances at a fraction of the usual cost of touristic ones.

Travel:

Granada has its own airport, and the trip to Granada from this airport can be done either by taxi or by a shuttle. It is also easy to reach Granada by train

Still, if you come by plane, you may find a larger choice at Malaga Airport, which is 140 km from Granada. At both airports, naturally, you can rent a car.

Further Details:

You will enjoy being at a rather busy area, with shops, restaurants and tapas bars all around, while resting at a very quite "home"
