Very central four bedrooms apartment in Granada - Easy access and private parking space.

The property is located at the lower South-East end of Granada's main shopping street, "Calle Recogidas", ideally placed for a very easy exploration of the town. A gentle stroll up Calle Recogidas and you reach the Gothic part of the town in just 10 minutes, with the cathedral and surrounding areas. Continuing North-West for 10 more minutes you reach Plaza Nueva, the gate to the Arab part of the town, with its famous Alhambra and Albaizin quarters.

The apartment is right at the heart of the commercial part of the town, where most of its famous "Tapas Bar" are concentrated, yet the apartment itself is very quite. Indeed, most bedrooms have windows to quite streets, while the living area open to ample streets and squares, so that it is full of light.

Granada may be cold in winter and hot in summer, but certainly not in this apartment. Central heating and full house Air Conditioning assures that you have the right temperature all year around.

If you come to Granada by car, the apartment has an easy connection with the main motorway. Additionally, you can park the car right at the property, since the parking garage and the apartment are in the same building. So, jump out of the car and take the elevator home, that simple. In a town full of history like Granada (but with small streets and sometimes complicated access), easy access and parking may be quite convenient. If your prefer to take a bus, there are plenty of bus stops in a radius of less than 50 meters

Price is 100E/night for an occupancy of 4 guests, add 15E/day/guest until a maximum of 8 guests. Weekly price is 550E for 4 guests, add 70E/week for each additional guest. A one-car parking space is already included in the price.

About the Owner

We are a Spanish couple in our fifties, living in Madrid. We know the Granada area very well, since we were born the two of us in that beautiful town.

We enjoy going back to Granada from time to time, but we seldom manage to do so more than a couple of times during the year, and never for too long.

We wanted to have a house in town, very central, close to everything and yet quite..... and this is the house you are renting. A true family house carefully selected to provide a very pleasant stay in town.

Excellent property

The apartment was exactly as described with plenty of facilities, although to be fair we ate out all the time so didn't use too many of them. We had detailed instructions provided to us before we set off from home and were very helpfully met on arrival. The whole of the apartment was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We had a rental car which we used most days and were glad that it was a smaller car as the garage is quite a tight squeeze, but with care not a problem at all and it got easier as the week progressed. Customer service was excellent throughout and even when we had a slight problem (of our own making, we managed to lock ourselves out) they responded very, quickly and efficiently.

The location is really good, plenty of shops, bars, restaurants close by. 20 minute walk to the tourist areas and another 10 to the Alhambra.

Would happily recommend this property to anyone.

Great Place, great location

Jose Maria has a lovely apartment that is close to the city but in a nice "local" area.

Check in and out was simple.

I would have no hesitation in recommending the apartment to anyone planning a visit to Granada.

A large, quiet, comfortable apartment

We were welcomed to the apartment by Jose Maria's nephew, Alvaro. Alvaro was very helpful and kind in explaining things in the apartment and helping us park our oversized car in the free parking spot in the basement. He truly wanted us to have a pleasant stay. The apartment itself is very large, comfortable, and clean. The furniture and decor are a little dated, but in a homey way, and the furniture was very comfortable. The apartment was well equipped with everything we needed to feel at home. Our stay in this apartment was very pleasant!

Wonderful place to stay

This apartment in Granada was a very nice place to stay in. It was clean, spacious and beautiful. The kitchen was fully stocked and easy to cook in. The owner was easy to communicate with. There was safe parking in the garage where we left the car for 2 days. It is on a main street that was easy to find with a supermarket around the corner. We walked to and from the Alhambra area from there.

Warm welcome home to home

My experience with booking the apartment was with the hour, after booking i was contacted by Mr Josie with in a short time providing me with all the information i required ( fantastic) he then put me in contact with his nephew who was so helpful regarding our stay.The apartment is clean and well thought out for guest requirements Aircon functioned properly we did not have a problem with anything provided.The parking space worked very well for us but as the apartment is on the main road public transport runs very well , plenty of shops bakers , pharmacies, mimi markets and ofcourse food outlets are all with walking distance, we would love to stay again when we visit Granada.

We find our selves to be very lucky to have stayed at this apartment and have the pleasure to have met very very hospitable owner...Highly recomended very central place you would love it

Excelente piso

Piso en inmejorable estado, muy luminoso, trato excelente.

wifi incluido.

Muy bien situado, en un paseo llegas al centro, zona con supermercados y trasporte fácil.

Plaza de garage incluida y con acceso directo al portal, aunque con acceso un tanto difícil, pero se puede aparcar salvo con coches muy grandes.

Muy recomendable, sin duda repetiría, sobre todo por el trato.

We are, my wife and me, from Granada. We were born there and, obviously, we know very well the town. We wanted to have an apartment very close to the center but modern, quite but near to all attractions, with a parking spot and easy access when you arrive in town.... and this is the place you are now renting: The house we chose as a perfect combination for a stay in Granada.

Activity and Interests

Nearest Airport : Granada at 10 Kilometres Nearest Beach : Almunecar at 90 Kilometres Car: not necessary

Special interest holidays:

A visit to a rich cultural town like Granada has many facets attached to it. Certainly you already know about Alhambra and the arab quarter of Albaicin. Probably you also know about the famous Granada Tapas and its flamenco dancing.... but there is much more to see!

Profiting from the fact that we are "locals" and we know very well Granada,

at the time of booking we will be sending a small Guide with very good local tips. We will also be offering you the posibility to join a Private Flameco Club for the length of your stay, where you will be able to attend true (non-tourist) Flamenco performances at a fraction of the usual cost of touristic ones.


Granada has its own airport, and the trip to Granada from this airport can be done either by taxi or by a shuttle. It is also easy to reach Granada by train

Still, if you come by plane, you may find a larger choice at Malaga Airport, which is 140 km from Granada. At both airports, naturally, you can rent a car.

Further Details:

You will enjoy being at a rather busy area, with shops, restaurants and tapas bars all around, while resting at a very quite "home"

The property is at the corner of the main shopping street of Granada, "Recogidas", less than a hundred meter to some of the best tapas quarters in town, with very easy access by car, with its own parking area, and very close to the main touristic spots of Granada. Of course, since we know very well the area, we can advice you some of the best places to go, perhaps not in tourist guides. We can also help you booking for visits and attractions as a "local", probably at a substantially reduced cost than using other channels, more targeted to tourists
