A recently built Spanish style home having 3 double bedrooms, and private 8 m pool with extensive sun terraces. Situated near the town of Los Gallardos, nestled in the foothills of the Sierra los Filabres mountains, this spacious villa has an open plan lounge/dining room with direct access to the outside terrace and private pool via a full length glass patio door. View from the villa, patio and pool are outstanding. Only a short 12 min drive to the delightful coastal resort of Mojacar and the fishing town of Garrucha. The location is an ideal base for those wishing to relax and unwind as it has good access, not only to the more popular coastal resorts, but is also close to the more traditional inland Spanish towns, such as Bedar, Turre, Alfaix, to name a few.

We purchased the villa from new over 14 years ago, enjoying many family holidays with our three children who are now young adults. We really enjoyed the stay at your home in El pinar; the peace and tranquility were excellent. Your restaurant suggestions were brilliant too, especially the Mirador in Bedar where the roast lamb was just perfect.

Your villa was excellent and had everything that we could wish for. The position was excellent; secluded and atmospheric and yet close enough to the amenities of the coast.

High quality get away far enough from the hustle of Mojacar Playa but close enough for convenience.

The property is beautifully furnished and well maintained, and for us was a real home from home. It was spotless when we arrived.

The bed was comfortable (not always the case with rentals) and the kitchen was the best stocked in terms of crockery, pans and utensils that we've experienced. Air con worked perfectly.

Outside there was a large patio area and whilst the pool isn't huge, it's ample to take a dip to cool off.

The views from the patio of Mojacar Pueblo and the surrounding area and coastline are amazing.

We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this villa and thank the owners for doing all they could to make us welcome and enjoy our holiday.

Relaxing getaway in great villa with amazing views

We have just returned from a great break spent in this lovely villa. The property was immaculately clean and came equipped with everything required. The outside space is perfect with panoramic views of the coast and mountains to the front as well as a patio to the rear overlooking the cactus garden. There are many good restaurants within a shorts drive and we tried recommendations left by the owner. If you want a relaxing holiday in peaceful, comfortable surroundings then look no further.

A delightful villa located in a perfect location

My husband and I decided on an early vacation this year. We couldn't have wished for a better location. The position of the villa overlooking the valley, mountains and coastline was breathtaking. English management were close at hand and ran through areas of interest and recommended restaurants when we arrived. The villa itself was spotless and furnished very well, The area itself had a lot to offer with superb restaurants and bars nearby with the local bar/restaurant just a 5 minute stroll. The villa ticked all of our boxes and we would definitely hope to return.

From the Owner

The views are to die for and provide a stunning back drop of the sea and mountains. The villa is on one level, tastefully but simply furnished, providing plenty of space for a couple or family to enjoy a holiday in a beautiful unspoiled location. The terrace in front of the villa is the perfect location to sunbathe or dine al fresco. There are many fabulous, authentic Spanish restaurants within a short drive such as the Miramar in Bedar the next village.

Nearest Airport : Almeria at 90 Kilometres Nearest Barpub : 5 minute stroll at 150 Metres Nearest Golf : Cortijo Grande - 9 hole - but many others locally at 3 Kilometres Nearest Motorway : 2 minute drive at 1.5 Kilometres Nearest Restaurant : 5 minute stroll at 150 Metres Nearest Beach : Mojacar at 10 Kilometres Car: necessary

Special interest holidays:

Bird Watching: eagles, red kites, hoops, Ibex can all be seen in the village. Star gazing at night is excellent due to minimal ambient light.


Mojacar, Vera and Garrucha beaches are all a 12-15 minute drive away

Mojacar beach provides safe bathing on an extensive sandy beach within a bustling sea side tourist resort.

Vera beach has a naturist section and miles of uncrowded sandy beaches. Garrucha is a fishing port which also has a stretch of sandy beach and plenty of excellent sea food restaurants serving the catch of the day.


Almeria airport is approx 40 minutes away by car. Murcia airport is approx 1.5 hours away. Alicante is approx 1 hr 40 mins away.

All of the above airports are serviced by low cost carriers such as Easyjet, Ryan Air, Monarch etc.


Mojacar village 10 min drive. Mojacar playa 15 min. Bedar village 10 min.

Turre 10 mins. Sorbas caves.

Texas Hollywood at Tabernas used for spaghetti westerns. Vera water park.

Further Details:

Situated in a serene village only a short 10 min drive from the beaches of Mojacar. The village has a bar/restaurant which also has a pool. The next village of Bedar has several excellent, good value Spanish restaurants such as the Miramar whose leg of lamb is to die for. The nearby town of Turre also has several restaurants, bars, banks, shops and a good supermarket 'Super Turre' stocking a selection of Spanish and English products. An ideal base for those of you who wish to explore not just the beaches of Mojacar but also the more traditional Spanish inland villages also!

  • Notes on accommodation: The villa was purpose built in 2001, its elevated position provides fabulous views from the living room, bedroom, dining room, terrace and pool area. Additionally, the side terrace has wonderful mountain views. The villa is simply and comfortably furnished with white washed walls and cream floor tiles through giving a clean and bright environment. The master bedroom and lounge have air conditioning units and the other two bedrooms have free standing fans. A log burning fire and portable electric heaters and gas fire are available for the winter months. A portable gas bbq is also provided on the terrace. Outside: The villa has a driveway for parking which leads to a back garden planted with large cacti. There are two sunbathing terraces, one facing the front of the villa with views of the sea, mountains and the pretty Mojacar village which can been seen in the distance. The 8 m private pool is provided with sun loungers and outside table and chairs for al fresco dining, or when using the gas BBQ. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bed linen and towels are provided weekly. No pool / beach towels are provided so please bring your own. The villa is cleaned on your arrival and departure. Additional cleaning/laundry is available for an additional charge upon request.
