Would recommend this house 'all day long'

  • 5 of 5

We had a family gathering (4 couples) for our daughters wedding in St Jean d'Angely. This house was a great choice.

. The spaciousness, size of rooms, furnishing and general amenities were even better in reality than in the photos. The owner was so helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful house near a lovely town

  • 5 of 5

The farmhouse was stunning. There was plenty of space for 5 people and couldn't easily fitted in another 3. The pool heated up amazingly during the day. Would highly recommend.

A wonderful place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I spent a fantastic two weeks in Archingeay with our 3 daughters and our dog. The house is in a wee hamlet, with the main part of the village a few minutes away by car. The owners have two bikes in the garage should you want to nip along to the boulangerie, or to explore the lovely countryside. Fields of sunflowers round every corner is something I could get used to.

Inside, there's loads of room, and everything you would ever need on a holiday. It's very much a home away from home.

We drove to so many great places; Cognac, Saintes and La Rochelle were fab, and Ile de Re is idyllic. However, should you decide to stay at home, the pool and the badminton court would keep you busy!

Andy, the owner, kept in touch from the initial booking, and was always friendly and approachable, and more than happy to answer questions or offer advice about what to do and where to go.

I was sorry when our time in this lovely house was over - thank you for a wonderful holiday!

A lovely family Christmas in Saint Savinien

  • 4 of 5

I spent a week in this lovely house with my family over Christmas. The house is spacious, comfortable and had great storage for all our food, wine and the odd Christmas tree. Andrew was great to liase with and so helpful to make our booking and arrival so smooth. The property is well maintained, clean and had all the utensils we needed.

I hope to be back again, maybe this time in the summer to take advantage of the sunshine, pool and get some badminton practice.

Thank you Andrew
