3 bedroom 2 bathroom with great sea views 5 mins walk to beach, enclosed gated garden

Delightful modern bungalow in quiet location close to centre of Rhosneigr village. Private sheltered garden to rear. Off road parking for 4 cars. Central heating, TV, WiFi. The house has undergone total refurbishment, and is beautifully furnished. All bedlinen is high quality 100% cotton.

Master suite upstairs, king size bed with bathroom WC and basin upstairs, original winding stair not suitable for elderly or disabled. Downstairs twin bedroom ideal for anyone with limited mobility 3rd bedroom is a bunk bedroom. Shower room downstairs with mini bath for children. well equipped kitchen, beautiful living room with sea views.

Garden at front has beautiful sea views, rear garden is private and a real suntrap. There is a barbecue, sun beds, table, chairs and sun umbrella. The front gates can be closed so the whole garden is safe and enclosed for dogs or children.

There is a charge of £25 per dog per week, please add this to your booking fee, thank you

In peak season I only take full week bookings, Friday to Friday. Out of season, I am happy to do shorter stays,

We love Rhosneigr because it is a great friendly village and has a good range of local shops and amenities. It is a real family destination and has good travel routes connecting to Dublin, Manchester, London etc. The village has over 10 different places to eat including Pizzeria, French creperie, fish and chip shop, Thai restaurant, pub food and 3 other restaurants.

What makes this bungalow unique

Swn y Mor is close to the sea and has great views. It has undergone a complete refurbishment so everything is very up to date, clean and fresh.

Notes on accommodation: No smoking, well behaved pets by arrangement £25 extra per pet please keep pets downstairs. Outside: Rear small sheltered walled private garden, table and chairs, barbeque front garden has beautiful view of the bay with seating area Garage available for storage for wetsuits, wind and kitesurfing equipment etc. We would rather you didn't take wetsuits into the house, thank you Utility Room: washing machine is in kitchen, no tumble dryer but whirligig line in garden to get those clean sea breezes! Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bedlinen included and changed weekly. Please bring your own towels and beach towels. Property cleaned weekly Other: Fantastic sea views from the upstairs bedroom and sitting room

Wonderful Holiday Home

The bungalow has been decorated to a high standard and is an equipped home from home. We had a wonderful weeks stay and the house is within easy walking distance to a fantastic beach and has sea/ beach views from several windows. Pauline, the owner, was very helpful and efficient during and after the rental process. The area near the bungalow has plenty to see and do and the village is well equipped for eating out or in. The beds were extremely comfortable, although upstairs would be a bit tricky for an elderly person as the stairs are very steep and wooden. All in all I can’t recommend this home more highly. Hope to be back one day.

Fantastic holiday at Rhosneigr. The property is very comfortable and in a good position. The beach and surfing is fantastic. Useful shops and good restaurants in the village.

Beautiful house in a great location

Modern, spacious and well equipped house which really suited our family and gave us an enjoyable and memorable holiday. Great location with easy access to the beach and amenities. Need to update website to say that towels ARE included at the property and it should also mention the aircraft noise from the nearby RAF base.

Lovely house

Lovely house with a great sea view. Great location, only a few minutes walk to all shops / restaurants / beach.

The house was clean, tidy and had everything we needed for our week away. We would definitely stay again and recommend to our friends / family

Home from home.

We were not disappointed when we arrived at Swn y Mor as the description of the property, location and facilities were very accurate.

We enjoyed walks on the beach, which there are a few to choose from, just a short distance down the road.

The bungalow proved to be an ideal base as we visited most of the local tourist attractions. The folder full of leaflets provided by the owner was a great help. We were also lucky enough to see a fantastic air display by the Red Arrows.

The bungalow itself has been refurbished to a high standard. It was clean and tidy and had everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. The owner was very prompt in replying to enquiries before we arrived and we would definitely recommend this property to a friend or relative.

Very Comfortable and Homely

Beautiful home, lovely views of the sea and extremely comfortable. Had a good weeks stay here, think we are the second visitors to stay after this bungalow completely renovated. We just loved it. It was very close to all amenities. We had 2 small dogs with us who loved it also. Plenty of walking to do around Rhosneigr as well as the water sports. This bungalow catered for it all. Would definitely stay again.

Special interest holidays:

Rhosneigr is a mecca for kitesurfing, windsurfing, sailing and other watersports. There are 2 shops renting wetsuits, paddleboards and kite surfing equipment. Lessons are also available. RYA boating instruction and courses are also available. There is a public tennis court

If you have your own boat Water skiing/wakeboarding is possible when the sea is calm setting off from the main beach.

The Snowdonia National Park is less than an hour away by car and there are many scenic coastal walks and cycle routes on the Island of Anglesey.

For birdwatchers this stretch of coast provides a sanctuary for many seabirds including Puffins and Terns.

For those interested in planes RAF Valley is across the bay and is the Air Sea rescue base for Helicopter rescue also fast jet training in Hawks. We get visits - and displays! from the Red Arrows several times a year but there is some noise during the week.


Rhosneigr has 3 beautiful safe sandy beaches. Main beach (5 minutes walk) in front of the village is easily accessed and where boats are launched. There is a boat lane to keep boats away from "bucket and spade" areas. You can take dogs without leads but you must clear any mess. Broad beach (10 minutes) is a long wide beach, quieter and popular with surfers. Cymyran (10 minutes) is accessed across the river, popular with kite surfers and is wild and completely unspoilt and is a great place for dogs to run.


Nearest Airports Liverpool 90 miles, Manchester 120 miles, Anglesey 10 miles, Holyhead ferry port 14 miles. Holyhead or Bangor station direct to London.

To find the property, take Junction 5 Rhosneigr off the A55 follow signs to Rhosneigr along A4080 after 4 miles turn right just after The Wayside shop follow road to centre of village, follow road to right along Station Road, after 500 yards turn right up Overstrand Avenue, just before School sign, Swn y Mor is the 3rd house from Station Road

Holyhead for shopping and Port for trips to Ireland 20 minutes

Rhosneigr has several good restaurants,

The Oystercatcher, Sullivans, Sandy's Bistro, Mojo's french creperie with sea bass a speciality. Y Morfa pub has a very good Thai restaurant which does takeaways. There is an excellent Fish and Chip shop and an Ice cream and lunch shop, Chaplins, as well as a Pizza cafe, Aydns.

Several Pubs, Y Morfa, Sandymount, Glan Neigr, Will's bar at The Oystercatcher.

Post office, 2 general stores, cash machines. gift shop a Surf shop hiring equipment and 2 clothes shops, Gecko and FatFace.
