About the property

Modern, spacious, 4 bedroom house. 15 minutes walk from the beach.

Northolme is a traditionally styled, spacious, end of terrace cottage built in 2011 and is located in the beautiful Bay holiday Village. It is within walking distance of the large, sandy beach via The Bay’s own private access.

Northolme is equipped and furnished to a high standard throughout and can accommodate eight guests with ease. The property is split over two floors with 4 bedrooms, a fully fitted kitchen and lounge as well as a separate dining room. To the rear of the property there is a private, south facing patio area with access from the lounge.

On the first floor there are two double and one twin bedroom. The master bedroom is en-suite and there is a separate family bathroom. There is also a W.C. and a double bedroom on the ground floor. This makes Northolme ideally suited for guests with mobility problems. The cottage is double glazed and centrally heated throughout and electricity and gas is un-metered for guests. There is also free Wi-Fi internet access available for all guests.

We welcome dogs that are well behaved, (please let us know who you are bringing at the time of booking). Dogs are also made welcome in The John Paul Jones the on-site pub and restaurant. As well as the beach there is a large meadow with lakes and other open spaces that are suitable for dog walking. Northolme is a real home from home for a large family to stay, or for a couple of families to enjoy together.

The Bay is a purpose built holiday village nestling in Filey bay on the stunning North Yorkshire coastline. It has an on-site Italian restaurant, pharmacy, and the John Paul Jones family pub. It also boasts a leisure complex comprising of a covered, heated swimming pool, sauna, steam room and gym. There are numerous other activities including a putting green, archery and a tennis court to name but a few.

An absolutely gorgeous house in a super location! Will definitely recommend to others!!!

Before coming to Northolme we were kept well informed by HomeAway and David, the owner. Also, David answered any emailed questions we had about our stay extremely quickly.

On arrival, we were so pleased with both the holiday village & the house. It looked lovely on the photos & the actual appearance did not disappoint! It was clean, homely & very welcoming! Inside, the house it was well stocked with every available utensil & implement needed for our visit. There was room enough for the 7 of us to put all of our belongings. The bedrooms were cosy & the beds very comfortable. The house had Wi-Fi which is imperative nowadays with children!! There were games, books, puzzles, colouring books & dvds provided for us, which were extremely useful!

A great touch was the washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, washing powder - things you need but often forget to bring. There was also a welcome pack of coffee, tea, sugar & milk! Nicer still was the lovely little touch of fresh flowers that had been left for us, which really was a charming addition!

We would recommend Northolme to others &, infact, have already sent out recommendations to 2 friends who saw our pics on Facebook!

Thank you for our lovely stay in your beautiful holiday home - we will definitely be coming back!!!
