Villa Tetuan a delightful villa set in peaceful surroundings on the beautiful Oasis de Capistrano. Villa Tetuan has a light, airy lounge with large South facing window, furnished with 2 leather sofas, modern dining suite, flat screen TV receiving freeview English channels, DVD player, unlimited WiFi, air conditioning. Recently installed beautiful Italian glass fronted log burner for the winter evenings. Newly installed kitchen, with marble worktops, ceramic hob, oven, extractor fan, microwave, full size fridge/freezer, integrated dishwasher.

Opening window over the sink giving the benefit of afternoon and evening sunshine.

Villa Tetuan has 2 excellent bright, airy bedrooms both with air conditioning and ensuite facilities.

The large terrace is equipped for al fresco dining for 4 people, built in charcoal Barbeque. In addition, there is a pleasant lawned area with sun beds,

Garden and terrace has the benefit of some shade from an Oleander tree, for full shade there is a roofed area and retractable sunblind.

The terrace and walled garden area is very private and receives sun very early in the morning until late into the evening.

On street parking is close be and access is on the level.

We have owned Villa Tetuan and let the property very successfully since 2005.

Villa Tetuan is very popular and we have many clients returning regularly.

Lovely family villa in Nerja

Its not the first time that I have stayed here. We came when my son was just 2 and have returned a number of times. At around 11 we were wondering if the annual pilgrimage to Nerja might be wearing thin but it seems not! 40 Tetuan or Villa Tetuan to give it its proper name is a lovely garden villa thats a couple of hundred yards on the right as you drive into the oasis. Its got a lovely sunny garden out the front with a lawn and sun loungers. The kids had a lot of fun squirting each other with the hosepipe which kept them cool! The Garden is full of flowers and very private which might be handy depending on how much of you that you intend to tan! The Bouganvilla and the stripy awning give plenty of shade and we sat outdoors most mornings to have our breakfast. Theres also a raised terrace area from which you can get a glimpse of the sea and the mountains.

The villa has been upgraded since out last visit. Again its immaculate but now theres a lovely new kitchen and appliances and ta-da!... a proper fireplace which made me think that it might be an option for a Winter trip now) Its a open plan living room, kitchen with a lovely view of the garden and air-conditioning if it gets too hot.

Some of the apartments on the Oasis can feel a bit claustrophobic at times but having the garden and it being so private was lovely.

Theres a double and a twin both with air-conditioning (Phew! it was 'scorchio' in July). The kids had the twin room which now has its own bathroom + shower. Godsend...it no longer takes an hour to get us all washed and ready for a trip out. On an evening the air conditioning was appreciated by them almost as much as the WIFI.

We didn't watch much tele but I noticed it was a new one with plenty of English language channels but most of the time we were at the pool or off into Nerja. The walk is about 15 mins (though I have long legs) there is a bus at the top of the street which will get you into town for a euro.

Villa Tetuan fabulous property, fabulous holiday.

Villa Tetuan is a very well appointed and comfortable villa, was exactly as described in the listing. The terrace and garden was very sunny and was excellent for sunbathing and outdoor eating. The main bedroom patio doors looked on to the terrace and gave us easy access whilst in the house. The air conditioning in all the rooms was very welcome. We enjoyed the ensuite facilities to both bedrooms. The lounge and new kitchen were very comfortable.All in all a thoroughly enjoyable stay in quiet peaceful surroundings. The owners were very helpful and arranged airport transfers for us. People with their own cars will find parking easy and close by. Everything we would want from a holiday home.

We chose Villa Tetuan for its sunny location and privacy. The large beautifully tiled terrace has all day sunshine. This delightful villa is set in a small garden on a quiet corner plot that receives sunshine from early morning to late evening. All the rooms are light and airy. It's unusual to have 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom villas on the Oasis and this we thought necessary for modern family holidays. Both bedrooms have good quality ensuite facilities.

Nearest Airport : Malaga at 70 Kilometres Nearest Barpub : El Fuentes at 150 Metres Nearest Ferry : Malaga at 70 Kilometres Nearest Golf : Baviera Golf at 10 Kilometres Nearest Train : Malaga at 70 Kilometres Nearest Motorway : E7 at 2 Kilometres Nearest Restaurant : El Fuentes at 150 Metres Nearest Ski : Sierra Nevada at 120 Kilometres Nearest Beach : Burrianna Beach at 150 Metres Car: recommended

Coast/Beach:

Burriana beach approx 10 minutes walk away along the cliff top, through small local avocado/olive groves. Burriana beach has everything a tourist would require, restaurants, bars including the world famous Ayos paella restaurant. Sun loungers, pedaloes etc are available for hire. Snorkelling, scuba diving etc. Is available through the Padi shop.

The Balcon de Europa, main town and smaller beaches are easily accessible via easy beach, cliff walk. The main town has many excellent tapas bars etc.

Travel:

Malaga is the nearest airport, approx 45 minutes drive from the villa.

Airport transfers can be arranged if required.

Car hire is not essential but is cost effective and will enhance the quality of your stay enabling you to visit many quieter beaches and interesting places

Distances:

The town of Nerja is about a short drive or 20 minute walk away. The village of Maro, home to the famous caves is a short drive away, 15 mins walk. The fantastic caves have been sympathetically transformed into a natural theatre where several concerts and ballets are staged during the summer.

The beautiful ‘white village’ of Frigliana is approx 20 min drive. There are Water Parks in Almunecar and Torre del Mar a short drive from Nerja. Granada and the Alhambra Palace are within 1/1.5 hour's drive.

Further Details:

The heart of Nerja is its spectacular Balcon de Europa, the 'Balcony of Europe', a magnificent promenade along the edge of a towering cliff, once the site of the great Moorish castle, with sweeping panoramic views of the Mediterranean and the small coves and beaches below, against an awesome backdrop of hazy blue mountains. The town's monuments include the 17th century Church of El Salvador, in a style which is a charming mixture of Baroque and Moorish architecture.

The tapas culture is excellent in Nerja, there are many bars in the town area some include tapas with the very reasonable price of your drink. Tapas can range from fresh grilled prawns, small kebabs or various fish. In addition, there is the full range of restaurants from the simple pizza parlour to high class cuisine. In general, there is a very good selection to suit all tastes.

Nerja has several beaches, there are two beaches close to the town on either side of the Balcon de Europa. In addition, there are a further 4 excellent town beaches.
