House in Lamlash, Isle of Arran, Strathclyde, Scotland - Very Peaceful Location Right On The Beach

Waterside is located right on the Cordon beach. It is a short walk to the village of Lamlash which has shops, post office, bars and restaurants. In Lamlash there are tennis courts, golf course and a ferry to Holy Isle. The main feature of the house is a large glass fronted open plan sitting room with a cathedral ceiling with glass doors overlooking the swimming pool. The house benefits from its own large gardens with ample parking for two cars.

Fantastic house with outstanding views

We spent the last week of August in this fantastic house. The facilities couldn't be faulted, We all loved having the indoor pool, and the views across to Holy island have to be seen to be believed. The house itself has everything you could ever need and is located about 5 minutes walk from Lamlash with several pubs/hotels, which served really lovely food. Tons to do on the island (rainy or dry), Broddick is about 10 minutes drive away and we rented mountain bikes and went Gorge walking from there and the castle is well worth a visit on a rainy day. So for a holiday with no traffic, no rushing, tons to do and breath taking scenery I highly recommend it.

Changeover Day:
Change overs are Friday. There is a late ferry onto Arran on the Friday which many who travel long distances find useful. Ferry booking is strongly recommended. Guests may take entry after 4pm and must vacate by 10am on day of departure
