I have always loved French Riviera where I often spent holidays as a child. I especially appreciate quiet houses located in the country side. This one is located upland, has beautiful panoramical views, no neighbours and is very peaceful, without being far from the coast.

Coast/Beach:

Several famous Mediterranean beaches in easy reach by car (30 minutes) : La Napoule (near Cannes), Saint-Raphael.

Also Iles de Lerrins, small islands off the beach of Cannes which can be reached by public ferry or sailing boat, beautiful turquoise water there.

Travel:

The villa is 55 minutes easy drive from Nice Airport.

Toulon Airport is 1h drive, Marseille Airport 2 h.

Aix-en-Provence TGV train station is 1 h 30 mn, Les Arcs TGV train station 30 mn.

Car necessary.

Distances:

Seillans, reachable in 5 mn drive from the house, is a picturesque medieval place, classified as "one of France prettiest villages", with winding and cobbled stoned streets. Within 10 km, you can reach other medieval perched villages (Fayence, Tourrettes, Callian, Montauroux,...) also with weekly markets, antique shops, restaurants and cafes.

Grasse, the famous city of perfume is within 30 mn drive.

Cannes is 30 mn away, Nice 1 h, Monte-Carlo 1 1/4 h, Saint-Tropez 1 1/2 h.

Further Details:

10 mn from the well known Fayence Aerodrome, International Gliding Centre of Europe, where you can have gliding initiation lesson and 1/2 hour flight.

10 mn drive from Marché Paysans in Tourrettes, local farmers market, open every day of the week in the summer.

Saint-Cassien Lake (lots of watersports available) is 15 mn drive.

St-Cezaire is 40 mn away, with amazing views, caves and rock climbing.

Spectacular Verdon Gorges (Lac de Sainte-Croix, Moustiers Sainte-Marie, Rougon, La Palud-sur-Verdon, Point Sublime, Couloir Samson) are less 1 1/4 h distant (walking, kayaking, climbing and white water rafting)

Beautiful village of Saint-Tropez and famous sandy beaches of Ramatuelle are 1 1/2 h drive. In July and August we strongly recommend to go there by Ferry boat from Sainte-Maxime (30 mn sea trip)

About 30 local producers in the immediate area (Olive oil, cheese, wine, honey, fruits and vegetables, flowers, delicatessen,...)

Many restaurants within 5 mn drive. Our favourit are l'Auberge Fleurie, le Moulin de la Camandoule (Fayence), les Deux Rocs (Seillans)

Supermarkets within easy reach (5 mn), weekly market in Seillans.

25% deposit on booking. The remaining 75% is due 8 weeks prior to arrival. At latest 7 days prior check-in a refundable security deposit of £800 is to be paid.

Changeover Day:
Our changeover day in mid to high season is (early june to mid-september) is Saturday with the departure to be by 10 am and arrival from 4 pm.

Otherwise dates, arrival and departure times, are negotiable.

Notes on prices:
Prices are for the property per week in Euros. Prices are inclusive of cleaning, linens, heating, water and electricity.

Low season short breaks considered.

Nota : Upon departure the conditions of the villa and the cleanliness should be similar as on arrival. Any damage should be notified to the local person in charge. Additional cost for cleaning might be required if necessary.

From the Owner

I fell in love with this location when I first visit it for its magnificent views, trees and quiet. I then decided to buy the land and build this house as I wished it : 4 bedrooms for adults + 1 bedroom for their children (6 max) so that I could enjoy this house with my friends and family. I also wanted to have large living rooms all communicating in open space, as well as a quiet swimming pool not to close to the house. At last I wanted to have a landscaped and colorful garden (Lavender, rosemary, olive trees, oleander, fruit trees + many more to be in harmony with the beautiful landscape surrounding.
