MORFAN was recently fully renovation and took in its first guests in August 2014. Completely modernised in the preceding 10 months, it is fitted out to a high standard with tasteful decoration and a strong focus on energy conservation.

Morfan sleeps 8 to 10 in 4 bedrooms with room for 2 on a sofa bed: 2 king size beds, 2 ‘zip and link’ twin/super king beds with 1 extra king size bed possible on ground floor for guests who might find stairs a challenge or require wheel chair access.

With stunning views across Nevern Estuary, Morfan is perfectly located for holiday-makers wanting a touch of luxury with the convenience of being just a few yards from The Parrog Beach in Newport Pembrokeshire. It is also ideal for walkers or bird-watchers, since the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path runs right past the front door.

Family holidays include all the fun of beach walks on Newport sands, rock-pooling and crabbing, beach barbecues, kayaking, surfing, sailing, swimming, fishing, windsurfing or kitesurfing.

It takes less than 1 1/2 minutes to walk to the front door of Newport Boat Club which is the focal point of much activity on The Parrog. Newport Links Golf Club is about 15 minutes away by car and can be seen across the Nevern Estuary.

Unlimited BT Infinity at 76Mbps is on tap with WiFi throughout, plus BT Sport and YouView and the detached games room can keep children (of all ages) happily occupied during the odd rainy day.

We operate a sliding % discount to the weekly price for Short Stays:

6 nights = 95%, 5 nights = 85%, 4 nights = 75%, 3 nights = 70% and 2 nights = 60%.

“Everything, all aspects were perfect. The little, but special touches(e.g torches everywhere, milk etc in fridge) and all so stylishly but homely decorated, made us not want to leave the house! We simply cannot fault it, and as we all went to sleep at 0645 after a whole night in the stunning conservatory celebrating my birthday - I think that encaptulates the magic of the place! We hope to be back very, very soon. Congratulations in turning it as I remember if over the years, to be a clever, comfortable, and cosy home.

Across the patio is the games room with 42" flat-screen TV, Wi-Fi, Nintendo Wii and games, music system, bean-bags and multi-games table for table football / electric air hockey / pool. The enclosed garden is largely laid to lawn surrounded by a hedge, wall and newly planted fruit trees. Parking for 2 -3 cars in gated driveway, further public parking nearby. Utility Room: Samsung washing machine, gas-powered "eco" tumble dryer, Belfast sink and pulley-operated drying rack Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are included. The property is cleaned weekly when towels and linen are changed and washed. Other: Sun room: spectacular views across the estuary, 12' wide folding glass doors that fully open onto the patio, oak table seating up to 12 with Chippendale side-board. Music speaker system and bean-bags. Great for parties!

Stunning property, high quality fittings/equipment

The setting was wonderful, with amazing views across the estuary. All bedrooms were fantastic with loads of space for all 8 in our party. The master bedroom in the converted attic with Cabrio windows and en-suite was particularly impressive. Customer service was outstanding; there was everything you could possibly need (indeed, more than you need!) in the house. Accommodation was extremely spacious, gorgeous conservatory, lovely courtyard and garden. Lots of thought had gone into the design, the furniture, fittings, equipment. The detached games room particularly good if you've got kids, or if like us, you're an adult kid! A great base for walking or just wandering around Newport, sampling lovely restaurants, pubs and shops. We'' go to Newport again and we won't be staying anywhere else!

Magnificent home to rent

Exceptionally well equipped home, this house is ideal for large parties, right on the water, fantastic for small children, and teenagers with a games room in the garden,this was our second stay at Morfan and hopefully many more to come!

Lovely walks and beautiful scenery, Newport has everything you need for your stay, restaurants shops and cafes.

Morfan is right on the Never Estuary and is perfectly located for holiday-makers wanting the convenience of being just a few yards from The Parrog Beach in Newport. At low tide, one paddles across the shin-deep river for beach walks on Newport sands or rock-pooling and crabbing, beach barbecues, kayaking, surfing, sailing, swimming, fishing, wind-surfing or kite-surfing.

Morfan is also ideal for walkers or bird-watchers, since the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path runs right past the front door, with direct views of the tidal estuary that attracts many types of birds.
