Clean quiet getaway

  • 5 of 5

This is an amazing getaway. It was clean and well equipped. A quiet location with a tea room which sells amazing cakes and yummy ice cream. The beach really is on your doorstep and its vast sand and warm waters where perfect for dogs playing and children paddling. So many fun attractions nearby like creams and cocoa bean...I would definitely be back. Missing the stunning seaview already

Location

From the Owner

We bought Auld Schoolhouse in December 2006 (and totally refurbished it) then Beach Cottage in 2010. We love the location, with the Beach on the doorstep. Although we only live 3 miles away we have holidayed here the first week of July, with our children (and their friends - the overspill in a tent) since we bought the Auld Schoolhouse. We feel Sandhead has it all! 7 miles of sand on your doorstep, good pub/restaurant, shop tearoom and children's play park all within a very short walk. There is no though traffic - no noise at night except the waves lapping on the Beach!
