About Julie Strachey

Trevaskis Dairy has been running since 2003.

We take care of all new holidaymakers and all the existing ones who have become friends over the years.

I live on the premises so available to help and to give advice regarding the locality etc. but not so good with the weather forecasts!

Julie Strachey purchased this cottage in 2003

Why Julie Strachey chose Gwinear-Gwithian

Just fell in love with the location and surrounding area.

Trevaskis Barn where TREVASKIS DAIRY is situated on a small farm in quiet

countryside yet close to all convenient shops & beaches which we

appreciate.

What makes this cottage unique

Gwithian Beach is a favourite but having the choice of both coastlines is a

fun advantage all within a few miles drive.

There is a great choice of entertainment, galleries, theatre, coastal

walks, local fish/food festivals and excellent places to eat and relax which

makes this part of Cornwall special.

A FABULOUS STAY AT THE GRANITE DAIRY CONVERSION

  • 5 of 5

The barn conversion was beautiful with so many lovely touches made by the owner Julie. We even had a bottle of wine and some other goodies left for our arrival. There was nothing that was too much trouble and Julie made us both so very welcome. My first painting class at St Ives School of Painting and what a lovely place to come back to after each day of the course. We will definitely be back again to stay either in the barn or studio, thanks again for making this trip so memorable Julie. Debbie & Martin xxx

Amazing Cornwall Retreat

  • 5 of 5

From the time we arrived to the time we left Julie made us feel very welcome. The Dairy is fully stocked with everything you may need and is set in a beautiful location. The location is only about 30 / 40 minutes from all the main attractions Lands End, The Lizard & Jamaica Inn. Definitely one for the holiday lists - We cant wait until our next visit.
