Amazing Cornwall Retreat

  • 5 of 5

From the time we arrived to the time we left Julie made us feel very welcome. The Dairy is fully stocked with everything you may need and is set in a beautiful location. The location is only about 30 / 40 minutes from all the main attractions Lands End, The Lizard & Jamaica Inn. Definitely one for the holiday lists - We cant wait until our next visit.

From the Owner

Just fell in love with the location and surrounding area. Trevaskis Barn where TREVASKIS DAIRY is situated on a small farm in quiet countryside yet close to all convenient shops & beaches which we appreciate.

Activity and Interests

Nearest Airport : Newquay at 33.8 Miles Nearest Barpub : Turnpike Inn at 1 Miles Nearest Ferry : Penzance to Scilly Islands at 36.3 Miles Nearest Train : St Erth or Camborne at 4.6 Miles Nearest Motorway : A30 at 2 Miles Nearest Beach : Gwithian at 2 Miles Car: necessary

Special interest holidays:

At the top of the lane within walking distance is "Trevaskis Restaurant", a well known licensed farmhouse restaurant, open daily for lunch, afternoon tea and dinner throughout the year.

There is a farm shop selling local produce. Strawberries, raspberries and loganberries are available to pick in season.

The market town of Hayle is close by for all your shopping requirements. The quaint town of St Ives with its cobbled streets, award winning restaurants and the Tate Gallery is only a short drive away as well as Penzance and the fishing villages of Newlyn and Mousehole. Attractions such as Land's End, St Michael's Mount, the Minack Open Air Theatre, the Eden Project and the cathedral city of Truro are also an easy drive away.

The famous "Gwithian Beach" with 3 miles of sandy beach nearby, popular for all beach sports.

Follow the A30 west and turn off at ‘Camborne West’.

At the mini roundabout turn right through ‘Roseworthy’ towards Connor Downs, on entering the village take your first left towards Carnhell Green and Praze, follow the road round and look out on the right for Trevaskis Restaurant & Fruit Farm, turn in here but instead of going into the restaurant’s car park take the lane immediately in front of you and we are the first property on right.

Gwithian Beach approx. 2 miles and St Ives approx. 5 miles

Making Trevaskis Dairy a really good location for North & South coasts.

See details on website for places of interest.

From the Owner

Gwithian Beach is a favourite but having the choice of both coastlines is a fun advantage all within a few miles drive. There is a great choice of entertainment, galleries, theatre, coastal walks, local fish/food festivals and excellent places to eat and relax which makes this part of Cornwall special.
