Apartment in Albuferia, Central Algarve, Portugal - Residential Location, Few Mins Walk To Beach (approx 250m), Approx 500m From Old Town Square

One bedroom modern 1st floor apartment ( Special long winter let rates also available on request ) situated in residential part of the Old Town of Albufeira. Its residential situation makes this a rather special location, with its view of the Atlantic Ocean and the local town. Although very close to all the amenities ( restaurants, cafes and bars), it is a distance far enough not to be disturbed by any negative bar/party noise factors. This apartment is in block of 3 only, again making this accommodation very attractive. First floor with only 10 steps to the entrance, making this especially attractive to folks who don't want to climb many stairs.

A 4 minute walk to the lift end of the old town beach and a few minutes more to the old town square.

Bathroom with bath/shower over, wc and bidet basin with large mirror and vanity unit, wall rail for towels.

Cooker, hob, fridge/freezer, automatic washer, microwave, plus toaster, kettle, iron and ironing board, cool box! Dining Table and 4 chairs!

Large Lounge Area with chaise longue sofa , converts to double sofa bed. Lcd flat screen, satellite tv, DVD/Video player (bring your favourites), CD/radio player.

Bedroom with a king size bed which splits into 2 singles if required, built in wardrobe with safe, a set of drawers, a long mirror fixed to the wall.

Balcony both front and rear with table and chairs on both balconies, clothes airer, also extensive storage cupboards.

Towels and linen use are included in the price. Fresh bed linen provided for weekly change, you are allowed to wash the towels provided in the automatic washer if and as often as you wish!

Willing to spread payments into 3 installments if reserved long time ahead.

Lovely appartment

This appartment is just perfect for couples,its notvto far from the fishermans beach and restaurants ect.It is well equipped with everything you need for a self catering stay.There is english tv and lots of channels to choose from.There is a balcony at the front overlooking the street and a balconyoff the bedroom overlooking a private courtyard belonhing to the neighbors which I think is a little strange if you want to sit out there,not very private if they are out there also.This area is mostly residential ,only down side is the dogs that bark and set one another off.I would definitely stay here again even with the barking dogs .All in all a very nice apartment.

Great Apartment

This is a great apartment. We had a really comfortable stay here, Andy was great, picked us up from the airport and dropped us off, showed us where the pool was, provided a cot and a baby seat also! He is one of the friendliest guys and nothing was too much trouble. Apartment was a little walk down to the main square and beach just away from the hustle and bustle from the centre. Taxi was 5€ from the town and near bus stop to go to all the main attractions. We thouroughly enjoyed our stay here and will be returning in the future.

Fantastic location and apartment

Great apartment and location. Everything inside that you would need. Short walk to the old town with several small bars on the way. Andy was fantastic. He picked us up from the airport, showed us around the apartment, took us to the pool and dropped us at the supermarket. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend the apartment.

Great apartment

I must say Andy was one of the nicest chaps I've met he picked us up from airport before taking us to the apartment he took us to see the pool which was very nice the apartment was in a great location and well worth the money very clean and was short of nothing I will definitely be using again thanks for the great holiday.

Just perfect

Had an amazing time in Albufiera Old Town. The apartment was clean and well maintained. The beds were the most comfortable we have ever had whilst on holiday! The apartment is well located with only a 10 minute walk to the beach, restaurants and a large supermarket that contained a butcher, deli and an amazing fresh fruit and veg selection. You will not want for anything.

Andy was amazing. He personally picked us up and took us back to the airport. Such a nice attentive guy. He is always on hand should you need him and takes great pride in what he does. Nothing is too much.

The apartment has everything you will need for a self catering holiday including wifi which was great for our teenager daughter.

I would not hesitate to reccomend this or any of Andy's apartments. You will not be dissapointed.

Great Holiday

We have just returned from 10 days staying at this apartment and couldn’t find fault at all. The apartment is spacious and has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

The apartment was clean and well equipped. It benefited from a full sized fridge/freezer, washing machine, iron, ironing board, hairdryer, safe as well as satellite TV accessing all of the UK channels and just about every kitchen utensil you could think of. We had the bedroom set up as a double and the bed was huge. A good comfortable king size and being at the back of the apartment remained cool which was good at night.

There are 2 balconies, one off the bedroom overlooking a private courtyard of the apartment next door, and one at the front over looking the street from which you can see the sea!

The apartment is located in a quiet street a short walk away from the hustle and bustle of the main town square. The old town and marina are easily accessible on foot, about 15 min walk in either direction. The beach is only a 5 minute walk away and is accessed via a lift or walkway. Albufeira is hilly, there just isn’t any getting away from it! Once the legs get used to it there is plenty to explore.

There is no pool on site however this is a 10 minute walk away and has a good number of sunbeds with cushions and umbrellas. There is a pool bar offering snacks and drinks.

Andy was a great host and we had no need to contact him about anything during our stay. I availed of the transfer service which I would recommend. Andy was there to meet our flight and was very friendly and chatty. He took us directly to the apartment and showed us around, he then went the extra mile and took us by car to the pool so as we knew how to get there and on the way back dropped us at the small supermarket to pick up supplies. We bumped into Andy a couple of times round town and he was always keen to ask if everything was ok and checking we were enjoying our stay.

Some recommendations:

Breakfast – if you fancy breakfast out there is lots of choice. We liked Leos which is only a few minutes away or Irish Harp just off the main square

Lunch – Iguana or Rossio – both beside each other but Iguana benefits from a terrace overlooking the sea and was good for a burger or tapas in the afternoon,

5 min walk (approx 250m) to Old Town beach of Albufeira.


Faro Airport is about 35 min drive from the apartment, personal pick up from the airport is arranged on request for a small fee, personally taken into the apartment! Arrangements are made to meet you at the apartment or close by, if you choose to hire a car!


The Algarve Shopping centre is a 5/10 min taxi drive away, 25 min from Portimao, 25 min to historical Silves, 40 min to Lagos, 40 min to Monchique mountains.

Further Details:

10 min to Zoo Marine, 20 min to Water Parks. ATMs, supermarkets and banks within 500m.
