The best equipped cottage we have ever stayed in! There were many, many kind, thoughtful and homely additions to this lovely little cottage we felt as if we were invited family - milk, eggs, bread, cake, biscuits, carved pumpkins, a dog toy, tea, coffee and biscuits! The place was spotless, warm and welcoming, we were surrounded by beautiful walks - along the path of the disused railway track and along the Seven to Ironbridge. We thoroughly enjoyed our few days at Puddle Duck Cottages, we didn't even manage to see all the museums there was so much to do! Thank you Sonia, all your efforts are much appreciated and we will be coming back.

Cosy home for the weekend

  • 5 of 5

Duckling cottage is lovely, very cosy and nicely furnished and decorated. Sonia had left us a really nice welcome pack with food essentials and treats for us and our doggies. The woodburning stove made our evenings extra cosy. Beds were super-comfortable. Our dogs were safe and secure in a large well fenced outdoor area. The location is superb. Very leafy and pretty, with tons of possiblities for walking and eating out. Nearby Ironbridge is gorgeous, we visited the Tile museum on the way there. Also had a very fun afternoon out at Blist's Hill victorian town. All just a short walk away. Would highly recommend and will return for another visit in the future.

Picturesque, beautifully appointed and cosy.

  • 5 of 5

We had the best time once again on our second visit to Duckling Cottage. Nothing is too much trouble for Sonia and Darren to make you feel completely welcome and at home and our beagle, Chilli, also has the best holidays here due in no small part to the new toy and jar of treats she finds waiting for her!

This time we made use of the gorgeous log burning stove and it was delightful to cosy up in front of it in the evening. The cottage has lovely comfy beds, soft fluffy towels and perfect bath\shower facilities and the kitchen is very well equipped. Local restaurants are often dog friendly and the food is very good as are the Chinese and Indian takeaways nearby.

We have totally fallen in love with Shropshire and Puddleduck Cottages and we definitely plan more return visits because we have such a wonderful time that we are loathe to come home at the end of our stay. Many thanks to Sonia and Darren and beautiful Bella beagle. If we could award more than five stars we would!

Coukd not want for more

  • 5 of 5

Amazing cottage in a stunning location. I was impressed from the moment we walked in, the decor, layout, quality of everything, simply coukd not ask for more. The extra touches by the lovely owner were very much welcomed by the humans and the pooch.

Without a doubt I'll be back to enjoy this beautiful property and explore surrounding areas. Thank you 😊

The Best Weekend Away Ever

  • 5 of 5

We were overwhelmed by the whole experience. What a wonderful welcoming gift of chocolate cake, wine, fresh bread, eggs, milk for us and toys for our 3 Beagles. Sonia went above and beyond to make our stay the best ever. Puddle Duck Cottage is in a lovely, quiet and secluded location, the garden is very secure, especially for Beagles. Everything was provided for, you wanted for nothing. It was so clean, fresh and bright and would be magical in the Autumn and Winter time with its cosy wood burner. The nearest pub is withing staggering distance, and several others if you fancied a pit stop on your walk into Ironbridge. There's so much to do, the history of the area is amazing! Best customer service ever and I have been recommending to all.
