The best equipped cottage we have ever stayed in! There were many, many kind, thoughtful and homely additions to this lovely little cottage we felt as if we were invited family - milk, eggs, bread, cake, biscuits, carved pumpkins, a dog toy, tea, coffee and biscuits! The place was spotless, warm and welcoming, we were surrounded by beautiful walks - along the path of the disused railway track and along the Seven to Ironbridge. We thoroughly enjoyed our few days at Puddle Duck Cottages, we didn't even manage to see all the museums there was so much to do! Thank you Sonia, all your efforts are much appreciated and we will be coming back.

Beautiful cottage in a beautiful location

Incredibly comfortable and beautiful. Sonia left us a fantastic welcome pack including treats for our dog. We would definitely like to go back. The area is quiet and picturesque with so much to see.

Fantastic Cottage in a wonderful location

  • 5 of 5

Duckling Cottage provided us with everything we wished for in a holiday home. The Cottage was beautifully presented, well equipped and spotlessly clean. It is set in a wonderful location tucked away at the end of a lane and is so quiet and peaceful. We loved the fact that we could walk to all of the museums from the door and could leave the car behind! There are several good pubs within a 10 - 15 minute walk away which we enjoyed. If you are looking for a base in which to explore the Ironbridge gorge then look no further!

Perfect Holiday Cottage!

  • 5 of 5

Rolled up on Friday to the most wonderful little cottage. Cottage is immaculate, everything you could wish for and so much more. Attention to detail is outstanding, all the essentials were catered for. The gorgeous cake and wine were most appreciated by the adults, dog toys and biscuits even more so by the dogs. The cottage is in the best location, next to the River Severn ( a pub on your doorstep, two more for meals a short 5 min walk away). All the museums are close by and the Iron bridge is just a couple of miles down the road . We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend staying in Duckling cottage

Another fantastic break at Puddleduck

  • 5 of 5

This was our 2nd stay at Puddleduck and we will definitely return again. The property is beautifully maintained sand the additional of the shower room is fantastic. The bespoke cabin beds in the 3rd bedroom are really comfy and plenty big enough for adults to sleep very comfortably. The location of the cottage is ideal - a 25 min walk into Ironbridge down the Severn Way and with lots of lovely dog friendly pubs within staggering distance. The cottage is brilliant if you do have dogs with lovely touches like dog biscuits and dog toys for four legged visitors bit humans are equally well catered with wine, cake and assorted groceries to welcome you when u arrive. Cannot recommend highly enough and we will definitely be back for a 3rd stay!

Fab! Fab!! Fab!!!

5*plus - excellent location close to several pubs and good dog friendly eating places. Exceptionally well equipped and pristine cottage. Sonia was a very attentive but unobtrusive host and welcomed us and our two dogs, one a four month old puppy. Gorgeous area, would love to return but only to Puddleduck Cottages.

Beautiful and cosy hideaway

  • 5 of 5

Sonia and Darren have done a fantastic job to make Duckling Cottage such a cosy home away from home. The cottage is beautiful, clean and modern, with everything you need. So many lovely little touches when you arrive for both humans and doggies that we felt very welcome indeed. There are so many beautiful walks and great pubs to walk to from the cottage door, that in 3 days we didn't scratch the surface. Our two beagles were safe in the beautiful gardens and had a fantastic time beagling about. We hope to book again very soon.
