Having visited the Algarve for several years with my partner and family i felt it was time to take the plunge and make an investment in property here as i have always considered this to be my second home.

Having found this majestic site and now near completion i want to share with others what i have been fortunate to enjoy over the past years.

Almancil is a great area that caters for everyone. You are a stone throw from the town centre with its array of exceptional cafes and restaurants and a short drive to the stunning beaches of Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago.

It is perfectly situated for families and golfers who want to enjoy everything the Algarve has to offer but a nice distance away that you are not in the heart of the hustle and bustle of the main tourist areas.

Local restaurants serve freshly sourced food at great value.

The locals are extremely friendly and always welcoming which is one of the main attractions for buying in this gem of an area situated in the hills behind Almancil.

Utility Room: Separate large laundry room with wash machine and drier Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Villa is cleaned weekly by maid. Towels changed once during stay though can be twice if requested at additional cost. Additional cleaning can be requested at an extra cost. All linen included. Other: Estate can be rented as one unit or villas can be rented separately.

Wonderful family villa 14 of us and 1 baby and we all had a wonderful time

The villa was everything I had hoped it would be..well stocked and in excellent order and the accomodation was ideal for a large family both in the main villa and in the two self contained bungalows.There was ample space in the extensive grounds for us to have our own space when needed but the pool and terrace were both ideal for us all to be together and bbq/cook then eat al fresco when we required.Great selection of restaurants around the area in Almancil,Loule and a little further afield in Sta barbara and in the Quinta area..would particularly recommend the Thai restuarant in Valverde where we were really well looked after with authentic Thai food.

The representative on site Reinaldo was particularly helpful..speaks excellent English and any slight problem (We had a water leak one day)was speedily and efficiently dealt with.

The only 2 slight things we thought would improve the villa was (1) more outdoor shade on the terrace and in the pool area and (2) more illumination on the terrace for when we ate outside in the evening.However in the scheme of things these were minor irritations..ovarall we couldnt have chosen better for our purposes and thank you Sean for the opportunities it afforded us

Stylish Villa with Magnificent Views

We had a fantastic week with the extended family (ages 1 to 84) at Lago Da Serra. The villa is brand new, very stylish and it worked well that apart from the main house, there were two additional separate houses. There is plenty of room for everybody to meet at the pool, in the main living room or on the terrace from where you have stunning sea views. The housekeeper couple is very friendly and helpful. We can only recommend Lago Da Serra!

This is a beautiful estate with well maintained and equipped grounds and villas and plenty of space.

Just lovely - well equipped kitchen, beautiful grounds, we didn't feel the need to go out in the evenings and most days just went to beach for a short while. Air conditioning very efficient (and welcome!). Bathrooms good size and plentiful water despite hot weather and no rain since April apparently! Whole place very clean and tidy and well equipped (except for a can opener - bring one with you!). Well placed and good distance for airport (Faro) and beaches. Walkable to local town - just about for the fairly fit. Good local supermarkets and restaurants. Best bit though is the lovely pool and the large patio outside main house. Annexes also have good patios with hammocks! The estate is still quite new and there were one or two glitches but the owner was responsive. This estate will be even better next year I am sure. Things to note - there are very steep slopes throughout the estate so it would be difficult for someone with mobility problems to access the pool and grounds. We (a family party of 18 aged from 2 to 70+) had such a great holiday and really didn't want to leave. Thank you Sean for sharing your Portugese paradise. Only reason for 4 stars not 5 is a few glitches which I am sure will be sorted out very soon.

Amazing Place!!

We were a Group of 11, but there would have been plenty of room for a much bigger group. The property is absolutely spectacular, and one we would definitely revisit. It also benefits from having excellent privacy. Some of the taxis needed some help to find the property, so I would recommend having a car. It's definitely a 10/10.

A fabulous break!

We stayed at Villa Lago Da Serra for 5 nights in April this year and had a thoroughly enjoyable time. We would highly recommend the villas and will definitely return again at some point. The facilities had everything that was needed and the villa's are superb with a very high specification and having the 3 separate villa's on site was great with our large party of friends.

The villa's location is brilliant with Vilamoura only a 15 minute drive or taxi ride away, Quinta and the beach at Vale do Lobo are only 10 minutes away. There are also a number of great restaurants in the area.

Fantastic Villa

We were lucky enough to be the first guests to stay at this amazing Villa. We were 3 families with children ranging from 9 years to 18 years old there were 17 of us in total, the villa worked well for us as the teenagers had their own annexes within the estate. Great size pool and pool area, volley ball pitch and even your own private lake and man made beach to enjoy.

The décor in the villa was modern chic, comfortable and very well equipped,

There are great restaurants in the area but suggest you book in advance of your stay not to be disappointed.

The owner was extremely accommodating and we would defiantly recommend this villa to friends and family and we hope to come back to Lago da Serra very soon.
