This large, bright, spacious and well appointed apartment sleeping a maximum of four people in two separate bedrooms is perfectly located and within walking distance of wonderful restaurants, beaches, shopping and markets.
Situated on one of the best streets in the Carre d’Or, the accommodation comprises a spacious entrance hall opening into an open plan living/dining room, fully fitted kitchen with high-end modern appliances, bathroom with bath and separate large shower cubicle, separate W.C., a 3-speed fan in each bedroom, a full width south facing rear balcony is accessible from both bedrooms and there are two Juliet balconies which are accessible from the lounge and kitchen to the front of the property overlooking the street.
The apartment retains many of its original features with high ceilings, coving, ceiling roses, parquet and tiled floors which are all complimented with modern kitchen appliances, furniture and sanitary fittings which are all high spec.
Luxury facilities include underfloor heating and heated towel rail in the bathroom, an internet radio means you can listen to any radio channel in the world or link your phone and listen to your favourite music on Spotify or link up to the bluetooth sound bar in the lounge meaning you can listen to your favourite music throughout the apartment. There is an American fridge/freezer with filtered water and ice on demand, hot water is always available at no extra charge, there is thermostatically controlled gas central heating throughout and two high powered hair dryers.
A south facing balcony is accessed from the bedrooms and has 2 tables and 4 chairs, there are also 2 reclining sun chairs and a sun umbrella with holder for use on the balcony.
The apartment is just a 3 minute walk to the Promenade des Anglais and beaches; 2 minutes' walk to the shopping area on Rue de France; just 30 seconds to the most amazing boulangerie; 2 minutes' walk to the nearest supermarket; 10 minutes to the train station giving you easy access to Monaco, Cannes, Menton, Eze to name just a few stunning places on the Cote d'Azur as well as stunning single track train journeys to mountain villages.
Places to visit and all within easy walking distance include the daily flower and food market at the Cours Salaya, Nice Old Town, Nice Port, Place Massena and Galerie Lafayette, Hotel Negresco, Musee Massena, National Museum of Marc Chagall, Museum Matisse, Russian Church, the Opera House and a must is a walk to the Chateau and Park de la Colline du Chateau with magnificent views over the Port, Old Town and the Baie des Anges across to Nice Airport.
As a couple, we have loved visiting Nice for many years and decided in 2013 to buy and renovate an apartment as our second home which we would love to share with you.
We enjoy spending as much time in Nice as we can and particularly enjoy leisurely walks along the Prom, the views from the Chateau, eating at the Cours Salaya or Place Garibaldi and whiling away the hours people-watching from one of the many bars and restaurants.
We are sure you will love Nice as much as we do.

Why choose this property over all the other apartments available to rent in Nice? The apartment itself is a 'home' not just a bland rental property, it is large and spacious, has everything you need for a very comfortable stay and provides a central location to visit all the local attractions on foot, by car, by bike or on public transport.
Four people can comfortably share the apartment, there are two separate large bedrooms, there is a large living area with a 6 seater dining table and a large comfortable sofa, chair and 'love' seat (cosy 2 seater sofa).
Close to the shops, beach, station, bus links, restaurants and bars but in a residential area away from the hustle and bustle

My husband and I had a wonderful time visiting Nice and region and staying in your lovely apartment. The apartment was comfortable, with everything we needed close at hand. Claire was lovely and she gave us a warm welcome. We appreciated her being available right away via cell phone when I needed help finding the hair dryer. The neighborhood is wonderful as well, with little grocery stores, including a “bio” market, as well as good restaurants close by. We had a small dinner party with my two brothers and their wives, who were staying in a nearby hotel, so all of us were able to enjoy the ambiance of the apartment one evening.
I visit France often and will think of your apartment when planning a future visit.

Beautiful graceful French apartment perfectly located near the promenade but very quist. Great responsive host and wonderful owners. My traveling girl friend and I had a wonderful time here and would return in a minute. Extremely well equipped, high ceilings, lots of natural light and very large and comfortable.
We stayed for a second time at this lovely and spacious apartment and it was all we remembered form the first visit. Beautiful historic decor with all modern amenities; very spacious with high ceilings; comfortable and stylish furnishings; and many other small touches provided by the thoughtful owners, who were true to form and highly responsive and friendly throughout. Location is fantastic: 2 minute walk to Promenade des Anglais and the beauty of la cote d'Azur, easy walk to old Nice which is spectacular, or to train station if heading to Italy for day's exploration. A lovely relaxing time spent in Nice made very easy by the central location of this charming apartment.
The apartment was beautiful - So close to the Promenade des Anglais and just a short stroll to the old town. Perfect to come back to every night, whether it was cooking a meal in the amazing kitchen or having a glass of wine on the balcony. Couldn't recommend it enough for a stay in Nice!

Coast/Beach:
The world renowned Promenade des Anglais is 3 minutes' walk from the apartment. Adorned with palm trees and beautiful Belle Epoque buildings that stand as a gentle reminder of its glorious past when aristocracy and royals alike visited the area.
The wide promenade lines the 8 kms of beaches that stretch along the seafront of Nice, perfect at any time of the day to enjoy a simple stroll, swim, lunch or a drink at one of the beach bars or the many grand hotels overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.
Travel:
Nice Airport is 6 km from the apartment.
Travel to the apartment from the airport is by either taxi or number 98 bus.
Nice Ville train station is a 10 minute walk from the apartment.
The tram line is due for completion in 2017 which will run between the airport and Nice Port.

December/January you can enjoy the 'Winter Wonderland' with outdoor ice skating rink, fairground rides and Christmas stalls on Place Massena;
February you can join the festivities of Nice Carnival with flower parades on Carnival floats
July there is the renowned 8-day Nice Jazz Festival with a wide selection of British artists.
Other events easily accessible from the apartment are MIPIM in Cannes (March); Monte-Carlo Rolex Tennis Masters (April); Cannes Film Festival (May); Monaco Grand Prix (May); Fete de la Musique along the Riveria (June) and Bastille Day (July 14th).
