This large, bright, spacious and well appointed apartment sleeping up to four people is perfectly located and within walking distance of wonderful restaurants, beaches, shopping and markets.

Situated on one of the best streets in the Carre d’Or, the accommodation comprises a spacious entrance hall opening into an open plan living/dining room, fully fitted kitchen with high-end modern appliances, bathroom with bath and separate large shower cubicle, separate W.C., a 3-speed fan in each bedroom, a full width south facing rear balcony is accessible from both bedrooms and there are two Juliet balconies which are accessible from the lounge and kitchen to the front of the property overlooking the street.

The apartment retains many of its original features with high ceilings, coving, ceiling roses, parquet and tiled floors which are all complimented with modern kitchen appliances, furniture and sanitary fittings which are all high spec.

Luxury facilities include underfloor heating and heated towel rail in the bathroom, 2 internet radios meaning you can listen to any radio channel in the world or link your phone and listen to your favourite music on Spotify, bluetooth sound bar again meaning you can listen to your favourite music on Spotify, fridge/freezer with filtered water and ice on demand, hot water always available on demand, thermostatically controlled central heating, two high powered hair dryers, south facing balcony with 2 tables and 4 chairs, 2 reclining sun chairs and a sun umbrella with holder for use on the balcony.

Places to visit and all within easy walking distance include the daily flower and food market at the Cours Salaya, Nice Old Town, Nice Port, Place Massena and Galerie Lafayette, Hotel Negresco, Musee Massena, National Museum of Marc Chagall, Museum Matisse, Russian Church, the Opera House and a must is a walk to the Chateau and Park de la Colline du Chateau with magnificent views over the Port, Old Town and the Baie des Anges across to Nice Airport.

As a couple, we have loved visiting Nice for many years and decided in 2013 to buy and renovate an apartment as our second home which we would love to share with you.

We enjoy spending as much time in Nice as we can and particularly enjoy leisurely walks along the Prom, the views from the Chateau, eating at the Cours Salaya or Place Garibaldi and whiling away the hours people-watching from one of the many bars and restaurants.

We are sure you will love Nice as much as we do.

Just a note to say how much we loved your apartment in Nice. We loved soaking up the atmosphere from the balcony and felt very privileged to be there. Bearing in mind our advanced years we got around quite a bit of Nice and enjoyed it all.

A great holiday in a great apartment

A beautiful apartment - clean, comfortable with lovely furnishings. There was milk, tea, coffee and a bottle of wine on our arrival - everything we needed to relax and settle in after a long flight. We felt at home straight away. Claire was very helpful and accommodated our special needs requirements. And what a great location! A perfect few days in a perfect apartment. It would certainly be our first choice the next time we're in Nice.

Great place!

We stayed at this apartment for 4 nights with another couple. Apartment was beautiful, close to everything, old town, beach. Good, safe neighborhood. Beds and linens were great! Large kitchen. We loved it!

Ideal Nice apartment

Perfect apartment for our first visit to Nice. We were two adults and two older children (16 & 20). Spacious and comfortable, modern but with classic details and charm, high ceilings, surprisingly large bathroom with both tub and enclosed, standup shower. Living area was very comfortable and well appointed. Kitchen is modernized and has plenty of room. Owner is very responsive and professional, and attentive to details down to extra umbrellas and a thoughtful welcome 'package'. Location is optimal, just up the street from the beautiful shore and promenade des anglais, a quick walk to city center as well as the 'old town' which is such a pleasure. Great artisanal boulangerie right on the corner for fresh croissants, baguettes, sandwiches.We have visited France many times and rented many apartments. This stands out among our experiences. Highly recommended - we are looking forward to returning.

Perfectly located well appointed Nice apartment

Lovely central place, perfect for our family of 4 (kids aged 12 & 10) in easy reach of beach, town and train. Apartment had everything we needed and more. Wifi was a great addition. No air conditioning or fans but good air flow with windows open.

Lots of food options close by; from fresh bread at the Boulangerie over the road to a choice of restaurants around the corner and in walking distance.

We were able to spend a day in Monte Carlo easily by train. No need for car in this area really.

Just remember your beach shoes for that pebbly beach :)

Beautiful apartment in a perfect location

We could not have been happier with renting this beautiful apartment in Nice! The pictures are very accurate - the unit is spacious, beautifully decorated and well appointed. We loved the kitchen!! And the location was so convenient; just steps from the ocean and a short walk from Old Town.

The owners were fantastic - very responsive and helpful. That was one of the reasons I felt so comfortable renting this unit above any others - and was not disappointed. I especially appreciate the tips they gave for where to park our car while we were there.

The entire area is gorgeous! We especially loved Eze and the market in Antibes.

I would definitely recommend this property to a friend/relative.

Nearest Airport : Nice at 6 Kilometres Nearest Train : Gare de Nice at 1.5 Kilometres Nearest Beach : Promenade des Anglais at 0.5 Kilometres Car: not necessary


The world renowned Promenade des Anglais is 3 minutes' walk from the apartment. Adorned with palm trees and beautiful Belle Epoque buildings that stand as a gentle reminder of its glorious past when aristocracy and royals alike visited the area. The wide promenade lines the 8 kms of beaches that stretch along the seafront of Nice, perfect at any time of the day to enjoy a simple stroll, swim, lunch or a drink at one of the beach bars or the many grand hotels overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.


Nice Airport is 6 km from the apartment.

Travel to the apartment from the airport is by either taxi or number 98 bus.

Nice Ville train station is a 10 minute walk from the apartment.

The tram line is due for completion in 2017 which will run between the airport and Nice Port.

December/January you can enjoy the 'Winter Wonderland' with outdoor ice skating rink, fairground rides and Christmas stalls on Place Massena;

February you can join the festivities of Nice Carnival with flower parades on Carnival floats

July there is the renowned 8-day Nice Jazz Festival with a wide selection of British artists.

Other events easily accessible from the apartment are MIPIM in Cannes (March); Monte-Carlo Rolex Tennis Masters (April); Cannes Film Festival (May); Monaco Grand Prix (May); Fete de la Musique along the Riveria (June) and Bastille Day (July 14th).
