The apartment is on the second floor, is light, sunny and spacious with two double bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room kitchen and dining area and a balcony. It is in excellent condition and very well equipped. The kitchen includes a cooker, hobs, microwave, fridge, freezer and dish washer. The TV has several English channels and there is a DVD player and free WiFi. The balcony has a table and chairs and three sledges for use by guests. There are beautiful views to Mont Blanc and to the village centre. Manoir Savoie is the 4* Residence where the apartment is located. It has 24 hour reception and a restaurant and is managed by Raddisson. Use of the spa and other Manoir facilities are included, It is on the edge slopes and and from the ski room, you ski straight into the main lift system and at the end of the day ski back through the village to the ski room door. Arc 1950 is the pretty village, is snow sure and arguably the best connected of the villages that make up the wonderful Paradiski area. It is less than 3 minutes walk from the apartment to the village centre. Facilities in the village include shops and restaurants, ski hire and a good ski school and child care. There is also a car park under the village if required with direct lift access into the reception.

About the Owner

I am a private owner and this is my own apartment which I let it out when I am not using it. It provides all the things that I want when I go on holiday, but often are not there. So there is coffee and tea and hot chocolate if you arrive late; lots of big fluffy towels;information about the resort; a stack of DVDs for quiet evenings in and a couple of sledges on the balcony which anyone can use.

I bought the apartment as we are skiikng family and love the fantastic ski area of the Paradiski created by connecting the slopes of Les Arcs with those of La Plagne. Arc 1950 is the pretty well designed and truly ski in/ ski out village. The apartment is in the Manoir Savoie residence which is the most spacious, has a great spa with full sized heated swimming pool, saunas and a fitness room. It is run as a 4* aparthotel by Raddisson hotels. From the ski room you ski straight into the main lift system and ski back through the village at the end of the day. From the balcony there is a wonderful view of Mont Blanc; it is quiet, but its only 3 mins walk to the centre of the village and all the facilities. The ski school is good; there are plenty of restaurants and facilities for children

Activity and Interests

Travel:

Geneva, Chambery, Grenoble and Lyon airports are all within 2 hours easy drive. Good price car hire at all airports. There is a car park under Manoir. Arc 1950 is 30 minutes from the rail head at Bourg St Maurice. A funicular runs from Bourg to Arc1600. Bus and taxis options to Arc 1950 run frequently. The Eurostar goes to Bourg in the ski season and TGV from Paris. The overnight couchette sleeper from Paris (about four times a week in the season but check).

Good choice of restaurants within a couple of minutes walk. Good comprehensive supermarket also in the village. Excellent wine bar (George's) and other bars. Several ski shops. Doctors surgery in the morning and evening. Cash machine

When you arrive the beds are made up, towels and towelling gowns provided and a welcome pack. The two bedrooms and two bathrooms, large living room and fully fitted kitchen with oven, hobs, microwave, dishwasher and fridgefreezer. There is lots of storage; you will feel at home. The use of the spa is included as is the use of the business centre for those who need to keep in touch and use of the laundrette in Manoir.The apartment has a TV with several English channels, a DVD player and free WiFi. There is also a car parking space available in the car park underneath Manoir (payable separately) with a lift straight into reception. The reception is 24 hours for any queries and there is a restaurant in Manoir which does good breakfasts! I send my guests lots of info on Arc1950 when they book
