Our apartment on Park Crescent is centrally located, being just a 5 minute stroll to the City Walls and the historic Monkgate Bar entrance to the City, with a further 5 minute stroll to York Minster and other attractions.

I have lived in York since 2000 and know the City well. We have a buzzing music scene, plenty of great restaurants and pubs and wonderful history and culture most of which I have experienced for myself.

This place is a absolute Gem.

The apartment is modern, fresh, well appointed and clean. The apartment would sleep up to 6 comfortably , 4 in double rooms and 2 on a sofa bed You could easily cook as self catering but you are in staggering distance of very good eateries ( Olivia Cafe is great for Breakfast). You are close enough to the action but far enough away for it to be quiet- absolutely perfect location

It is located less than 10 minutes walk from the Minster so its absolutely perfect for exploring all the delights York has to offer. The property has off street parking and that is where your car will remain as you are close enough to walk to everything.

It is very simple to get access to the property on arrival.

If you have mobility issues you would find it difficult to access the property.

Overall this was a fantastic find and we would definitely recommend it to others and use when returning to York

Well equipped, well positioned, cosy apartment.

Stayed here with my family whilst visiting our son at university and we loved everything about the apartment. The owner has been really thoughtful about what visitors might need, including things like a luggage store for the day of departure and he was really flexible and helpful in sorting out parking for us beyond our check-out time. The location was great - a short walk to town but not so close as to be disturbed by the city noise at night. The kitchen was really well equipped and everything was comfortable and clean. Our girls particularly loved the attic bedroom and the chance to bath in luxury in their room! We will definitely be coming back!

Fantastic find

We wanted somewhere close to the city with parking & where we could bring our dog. The flat totally exceeded our expectations. Great location. Tastefully furnished & equipped. Better than any hotel. Wine & chocolate on arrival. Helpful & informative owner. We will definately be back. Perfect place for a city break. We loved it.

  • Description of sleeping capacity: Sleeps 4 (2 Bedrooms) Notes on bedrooms: Spacious master bedroom on the first floor of the apartment, with walk in wardrobe and a super king size bed (6’ x 6’6) which can be separated into two single bedside required. Double bed in attic bedroom with memory foam mattress.

Notes:

  • Notes on accommodation: The attic bedroom at the property is accessed by a steep alternate tread staircase and has limited head height, so is only suitable for guests under 6ft who are 100% mobile/agile. It’s a lovely room with a free standing claw foot bath in the bedroom and views of York Minster from the velux window, but it’s not ideal if you’re over 6ft or not 100% mobile. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All bedding and towels are provided as are all basics such as loo roll, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets and all of the other basics that you're likely to need during your stay.
