Wonderful apartment, great location.

Rui is an ideal host. Good communication from the first email regarding dates we required, and on the run up to arrival.

We had stayed at Boa Vista previously so knew it was going to be enjoyable, and this apartment did not let us down. Lovely quiet part of the complex, right next to a pool and fab views of the golf.

Everything you need for a home from home was available for you, there was also a lovely welcome food & wine parcel. The apartment is beautifully decorated and Rui is quite rightly proud of this. (The master suite bed fit the lot of us in, amazing!!)

A car is recommended, you could walk to the nearest supermarket but smaller kids may struggle, took about 4 mins to get there by car. (We hired a car from Lagoa Rent.). The location is ideal for travelling to many great places, towns and activities.

Beautiful location high quality property

We have just returned from holiday to Boavista golf resort and are already planning when we can return.

The appartment was in a beautiful spot, equipped with everything you could need. Rui was very helpful especially when we accidentally locked ourselves out. Nothing was a problem , very helpful. We would definitely recommend this appartment.

Lagos very pretty and scenic. Ruis appt in Boavista, stunning and cosy

Rui is a great host. Communication is prompt by email, phone or text. Any concerns or queries are dealt with promptly. The appt is in a quiet culdesac in the lakeview section. It has a two balconies, bedrooms facing the pool and the kitchen and living room facing the golf course.

The kitchen is fully equiped - cutlery, crockery, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, coffee/expresso machine etc.

Living room is spacious with leather sofas, dining table and chairs, 40 inch smart tv with all the usual british channels bbc, itv ect incl sky sports, sky prem and setanta for sat afternoon footy.balcony has outdoor dining and a small portable bbq and sunlounger.

Rooms are large - master is ensuite with a superking bed ( we could have easily slept with the two ninja kids and had a good night sleep.) Other bedroom has two singles. Separate shower and wc.

There is a safe in the room as well.

A car is recommended. Nothing nearby. by car the intermarche super is 3-4 mins away. Ask Rui for the shortcut....the tomtom will take u the long way. Town is about 5 mins away. Make sure u go for the boat trips. We did a 1hr grotto trip as we were with a jumpy 3yr old and 7 yr old. We were lucky as the boatman spotted some dolphins and took us for that as well as the caves. Awesome.

Luz is about 15 mins away. And a must ....Cape St Vincent near Sagres is about 40 mins away.

The clubhouse has golf, indoor heated pool, jaccuzi, steam room, sauna, table tennis and gym. With the guest cards its €8 adult and €4child per half day....so plan your timings. A little steep but worth it if u r going to spend some time there. They allow kids in the jaccuzi which was quite nice.

Club house has food but we did not eat there.

For golfers the guest card gives you 30 to 40% discount....I didnt play this course this year. Last year I played the o'connor and Faldo courses. They are excellent and comparable or favourable to the green fees that Boavista charges. ( EASTER SPECIAL DEALS).

The beaches are not far. I would suggest drive up to praia meia which has space to fit 50000 people without anyone treading on their neighbours feet. Dona Ana beach has won several awards so may be worth a visit.

To sum it up. Lagos is very scenic and pretty. Ruis appt is stunningly good, quiet and cosy. I booked direct with Rui using owners direct. He is a fantastic

And genuine host.

Absolutely Fabulous

The property had everything we wanted including SKY sports, magnificent views over the signature hole of the Boavista Golf course from one balcony and a view over the excellent pool from the other. Rui, the owner, could not do enough to help us. It is probably the best apt we have ever stayed in and have booked again for next year. Unbeatable at the price.
