Villa Marovista is a 3 bedroomed villa, sleeps 6/8 people and is set in the hills on the east side of Funchal Ridge, behind the historic and vibrant town of Lagos. The villa has an elevated position, enjoying 180 degrees panoramic views of Mountains, Sea and surrounded by vast Portuguese countryside. Only 2kms away, on the west of Funchal Ridge, is Praia de Luz, another very popular town, with it's many cafes and restaurants. In summary the Villa is very well positioned for both Lagos and Praia de Luz towns, and also with good access to the scenic and beautiful mountains, beaches and coasts of the Western Algarve.

The living space is large and opens out onto a large pool terrace with sun lounges, BBQ and outdoor dinning facilities. The pretty gardens are fenced with secure automated private entrance gates and plenty of room for parking. The property is well located for the West Coast and its many Surfing Beaches which are 30 kms away. The villa is also very convenient for Golfers with Boa Vista Golf right on your door-step, as well as several other very picturesque Golf Courses nearby.

About Mr and Mrs M J Simm

We are a retired couple who moved to Portugal, having worked and lived abroad for many years. We live in our villa here on Funchal Ridge in Lagos, most of the winter months, and take the opportunity to go travelling in our camper van around Portugal or Europe in the summer months

We are a very approachable couple and will try to cater wherever possible, to meet your every need, while you enjoy your hard earned holiday.

Our meet and greet agency is based in Lagos, who will be able to help in most cases, should you have any requirements.

Why Mr and Mrs M J Simm chose Lagos

We chose this location in Lagos for its spectacular views over the sea and country side, and its peaceful and quiet location. We built the property to meet our needs in 2008 and love that it is so close to all facilities, including the sandy beaches and numerous cafes, bars, restaurants and shops, in and around Lagos.

We are less than an hour from Faro airport and along the quiet A22 motorway and only 2/3 minutes from the link road.

What makes this villa unique

The Villa is family-orientated and caters for all needs with it's lovely pool to relax by, large terrace and colourful gardens.

5 minutes into Lagos and the Avenida you will find stalls that offer Boat trips for fishing, seeing the Dolphins and the Caves which are all accessible locally. Zoomarine the Water Parks and Sand Sculptures are all 20 to 30 minutes away.

The property is well located for the West Coast and Surfing beaches only 30 minutes away.

Notes on accommodation: Although the Villa has three bedrooms, there is an additional sofa double bed in the Annex Lounge, however this is more suitable for children. Outside: Includes pretty mature gardens, both in the front and at the back, patios, BBQ and outdoor furniture etc. There is a private pool that is 9m x 4m in size and plenty of parking. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are included, as well as pool towels and these will be changed, and property cleaned, once a week. A mid-week clean can be arranged for an extra charge. Other: The Annex has a self contained living area with 3rd bedroom. The open plan lounge and kitchen has two patio doors leading to two sit outs. Ideal for extended family and friends. It has an additional double sofa-bed, more suited for children.

Breath taking views

This is a stunning property in a beautiful location. The views are breath-taking, especially at sunrise! It was spacious, comfortable and clean with regular cleans during our stay of both house and pool. The kitchen was well-resourced with crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. The beds were extremely comfortable with the option of extra pillows and blankets, if needed.

Fabulous holiday had by all. Contact/customer was excellent throughout the process from initial enquiry to return of security deposit.

Gran casa, mala gestion

La casa es una pasada, vistas, comodidad, situación.....el único problema es q los dueños tienen la gestión del alquiler a través de una agencia q es la peor con la q me he encontrado nunca. Con lo simpáticos y agradables q son los dueños, podrían buscar otra agencia mejor.

Eso sí, la casa es para repetir, una gozada
