Restored farmhouse in a peaceful location within easy reach of the beach, Loreto, Jesi, Macerata and shopping outlets!

Sant Elia is a beautifully restored farmhouse surrounded by twelve acres of land, which includes its own olive groves, vineyard and spacious gardens. The house has been renovated to a very high standard and has under-floor heating and air conditioning. The furnishings offer a tranquil and serene interior encompassing both traditional and modern tastes. All bedding is either by the White Company or a comparable Italian company, which adds to the feel of luxury.

Cooking is part of ‘Sant’ Elia’ and the kitchen bears witness to this! There is a large fully equipped kitchen, an outside oven and also a gas barbeque. Much of the produce comes from the vegetable garden and this is also available for guests. Throughout the summer meals are often eaten outside on the terrace under the pergola, on the separate roof terrace or even in a picnic area in the olive groves.

For relaxation there is a lounge with a large seating area, open fire, Sky TV and DVD player with an eclectic film library. The lounge also has direct access to the pergola terrace with its own comfortable outside seating.

The house faces south with views of the nearby town of Filottrano and distant views to the mountains. There is a 12m x 6m pool, extensive lawns and well-established gardens. The silo, alongside the pool, has been converted into a pool bar, shower and bathroom area.

Ancona airport is just over 30 minutes away and the major airports of Bologna and Rome are two and three hours away respectively. The Adriatic beaches and their seafood restaurants are only 40 minutes drive away from Sant’Elia.

Le Marche is an undiscovered gem for art and opera lovers, Macerata with its open-air opera theatre is just 30 minutes away.

"This is the most AWESOME place on earth!!!! If I lived in the UK I would be there at least once a year, it is truly amazing! The grounds are totally stunning and so peaceful, the house is super high end and the owners are great! You really do feel like you're in Heaven! And let's not even start on the shopping in the area. Everyone should experience this!!!!"

A truly wonderful holiday

We have just returned from the most amazing 2 weeks at Sant Elia. Our hosts Jerry and Irene,were fabulous, nothing was too much trouble and we really appreciated their attention to detail

Sant Elia is a magical place, set in the most beautiful countryside surrounded by olive trees and sunflowers, from sunrise to sunset.

We were a party of nine friends including 4 teenagers there was so much space to chill out and relax for everyone.

Sant Elia has been renovated to the highest standard, yet it has a very homely feel and we felt so comfortable from the moment we arrived. As keen cooks, we made full use of the very well equipped kitchen and fantastic bbq. We ate every meal on the fabulous much needed shady terrace overlooking the wonderful pool. A perfect place to eat, drink, chat and enjoy each others company.

Our holiday at Sant Elia was just the most perfect 2 weeks, a truly wonderful holiday with family and friends. We have some very special memories of a very special place. We would love to return. Thank you Jerry and Irene.

Paradise Farmhouse in Le Marche

An absolutely stunning Farmhouse, so beautifully equipped with everything you will need for a fabulous holiday! The attention to detail is amazing, every age is catered for. We were a party of 9 and there was ample room for all, the pool was great and used every day with much fun! The area is beautiful with loads to see and explore with plenty of very good restaurants to eat in. The owners of the property were incredibly helpful and welcoming, and wanted to ensure we had a wonderful week away, which we certainly did! Our week here flew by in this gorgeous Farmhouse and we would definitely want to come back!

A Perfect Hoiday Villa

We all LOVED Sant Elia from the moment we arrived. The description is entirely accurate. it is in the most peaceful and lovely setting, an old house most beautifully restored while keeping its essential character. Good spacious downstairs rooms, it has everything you could want and more. An extremely well equipped kitchen with the evidence of an enthusiastic cook on the bookshelves. A wonderful large terrace surrounded by sophisticated planting overlooks an excellent pool for all ages with views of beautiful countryside in this surprisingly less known region. The owners are quite exceptional. The attention to detail is everywhere and they have gone several extra miles to make Sant Elia a comfortable and welcoming place to stay. Jerry and Irene could not have been more hepful and accommodating. There is little they haven't thought of and Sant Elia is clearly a much loved house. We were 10 people ranging from 2 to 70 years old and it suited everyone wonderfully. Our stay was much too short and everyone wants to return to enjoy it and explore the area further.

Slice of heaven

Upon our arrival we were greeted by Irene and Jerry, the very friendly owners of the house, and they gave us a tour of the property. The house is very well maintained and lies on a beautiful very private property with still all the amenities like restaurants and villages and a supermarket only a couple of minutes drive away.

The villa is decorated in a very nice way and of a very high standard. Lots of space and all the equipment available to you is also of a high standard. For example Miele washer and dryer. Very well equipped kitchen.

The swimming pool is very big so again lots of space for everyone.

If you have any questions the owners will help you right away if you contact them.

The beach is also very close, the beach of Sirolo is very nice. But since we enjoyed the house so much you really don't want to go anymore.

We would recommend this property to everyone. You really get value for money.

Would love to return again.

A wonderful holiday!

As a returning guest to Sant Elia I could not recommend it enough. This idyllic villa is set in the most impressive of locations and is the perfect place to unwind and leave your troubles behind. To sit along side the olive groves, orchards and rolling countryside with a cool drink and bowl of pasta or BBQ, is just perfect. The stunning pool is well suited to children who would also like to explore the extensive grounds. The villa is beautifully decorated and equipped to a very high standard. There are also excellent local amenities with a gorgeous, typical Italian town close by. I would happily move into Sant Elia!

The magnificent sandy beaches of the Adriatic are within easy reach of Sant' Elia. The closest beaches are less than 40 minutes away by car. All coastal towns have excellent seafood restaurants.

Travel:

The closest airport is Ancona which is 35 minutes away by car. Bologna and Rome airports, which are served by many airlines are two to three hours distant.

Distances:

The nearest town is Filottrano which is three miles away. Jesi, which is known as 'the Milan of Le Marche' is about ten miles from Sant' Elia. Other places of interest less than one hour's drive away, include Osimo, Ancona, Macerata for the outdoor opera arena, Loreto and many others. The shopping outlets, such as Tod's and Prada, close to Civitanova, are less than one hours drive.

Assisi, Urbino, Rimini and Bologna are all about two hours away.

Further Details:

Le Marche is completely unspoiled with very few British tourists. It is an area full of historical interest and a delight for the art lover.

In Filottrano there are banks, supermarkets, local shops, bars and restaurants.

Within a three mile radius there a number of typical Marche trattorias and restaurants - all very good! Not to mention wine tasting in the local cantinas and enoteccas.

Changeover Day:
The changeover day is Saturday, and is available as from 4.00pm. Guests should vacate the property by 10.00am on the day of departure.
Damage Deposit:
There is a refundable damage deposit of €400 payable with the final rental payment.

To confirm a booking we require a 30% deposit with the balance due eight weeks before the holiday commences. All payments to be made by bank transfer. Our prices are in euros but we can accept payment in pounds sterling at the prevailing exchange rate.

  • Outside: There are twelve acres of olive trees, vines and fruit trees situated beyond the extensive gardens. The 12m x 6m private pool with pool house faces south and is situated a few metres from the house. Seating is available under the pergola for outside dining. The master bedroom terrace also has seating and table for outside dining. Utility Room: Washing machine, tumble drier and large laundry sink. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All towels including those for the pool, and linens are included. If required for an additional fee, the property will be cleaned mid week and towels changed. Bathrobes, slippers and luxury toiletries are provided. Other: There is a small reception room used as an office. The ground floor and part of the second floor are covered by wifi.
