This gorgeous self catering ski apartment located in the centre of Chamonix with a magnificent terrace facing Mont Blanc. Apartment size 50sqm on level 0. Sleeps up to 6 in 2 bedrooms and lounge: 1 twin/ double bedroom, 1 bunk bedroom, 2 single sofa beds in lounge (can convert to 1 double). Fully equipped kitchen with conventional oven, dishwasher, extractor fan, fridge-freezer, halogen-hob, washer-dryer. Spacious lounge with large 42 inch flat screen TV (with UK Freeview channels), CD and DVD player, sofa plus 2 arm chairs & 2 poofs, dining table and chairs, double French windows leading to huge terrace. Family bathroom with bath tub, shower, wash basin, mirror and shelf storage; separate washroom with WC, basin and mirror. Amazing 45 SQM terrace all around apartment with garden furniture, lift access to all floors, private internal parking (garage height 2m), secure ski locker. Daily cleaning service, daily linen service and daily breakfast delivery is possible with this chalet.

Villa Floria is a superb residence located on the Brevent side of Chamonix with magnificent views of Mont Blanc and the Aiguille du Midi. The residence is a small prestigious batiment consisting of only 12 chalet apartments that over look the entire Mont Blanc Massif. It benefits from being right in the centre of town - only a minutes walk to the main pedestrianised high street Rue Docteur Paccard - but is also set back in a more serene and peaceful environment and is surrounded by a large private garden area ideal for children to play in. It is an 8 minute walk to the Brevent ski lift and about a 5 minute walk to the Maison de la Montagne - the main ski school in Chamonix. The ski bus that services all areas of the Chamonix valley, is right outside and free with your carte d'hotes. The apartment offers dramatic views of the Mont Blanc massif (Aiguille du Midi, Mont Blanc, Les Drus) - from the lounge or sun terrace you can even watch the Aiguille du Midi cable car going up and down to the station 3800m above.

FloriaA is finished to a luxurious and comfortable alpine standard - the traditional wooden furniture is top of the range and produced by local craftsmen with large patio doors and windows overlooking the superb Chamonix valley. The lounge has ample seating, with a large extendable dining table and banquettes, a long sofa that converts to 2 single beds or a double bed, 2 arm chairs, 2 poofs as well as a cosy wool rug. The flat screen TV is HD and has UK freeview installed. The kitchen is fully equipped with a full-size oven, four-ring halogen hob, extractor fan, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and plenty of cupboard storage. Bedroom 1 has twin beds that can form a king size double and with a 'pont du lit' storage unit and under bed drawers; there is also a mirror, shelf and clothes hooks. Bedroom 2 is a cabine (bunk room) with full-size bunk beds, under bed drawers for storage a mirror, shelf and clothes hooks. The bathroom is fully equipped with a bath with shower over it, full size basin, plenty of cupboards and a washer-dryer. There is a separate washroom with WC, basin and mirror. The hall also has a storage cupboard, clothes hooks and a full size mirror. The basement includes a private ski locker and private car park space included in the price. There is a large 45 SQM terrace with furniture for dining which is fabulous for BBQs, lazy days in the sun or apres ski aperos - the views up at Mont Blanc are spectacular. The apartment also comes with a free wireless ADSL internet connection. The setting of Villa Floria is just perfect for anyone - a peaceful chalet apartment but also right in the heart of it.

Located within an hour's drive of Geneva airport, Chamonix Mont-Blanc is a spectacular French resort in both winter and summer - playground for all ages. The Chamonix Valley is made up of a number of small ski areas: Les Houches, Le Brevent/ La Flegere, Les Grands Montets and Le Tour/ Vallorcine - all offering varied terrain and spectacular views of the Mont Blanc Massif and the Aiguilles. Skiers and snow boarders will love it here, whether you are looking for nice long sunny groomed slopes, small forest trails or off-piste free riding and untracked glacial terrain. Experienced skiers will love the gnarly trails on the Argentiere Glacier or the legendary off-piste itinerary from the Aiguilles du Midi - the Vallee Blanche (be warned a mountain guide is necessary for these areas!). Intermediates can take their pick from the miles of blue or more challenging red runs that are available in all areas of the Chamonix valley and beginners have ample to do as well. The gentle green slopes on the valley floor give the perfect introduction to winter sports before progressing onto the higher terrain. If you fancy going further a field, then the Mont Blanc Unlimited lift pass also enables you to ski in Courmayeur (Italy) and Verbier (Switzerland); both less than an hours drive from Chamonix (or a free bus ride in the case of Courmayeur!). Chamonix is a safe bet for early and late season skiers since 90% of the skiing is above 2000m. The highest area Les Grand Montets at 3300m offers exceptional skiing from December through to mid May. Wherever you choose to ski, there are unrivalled panoramas of the Mont Blanc massif that will take your breath away! In summer Chamonix opens up into a playground of alpine adventure - Climbing, hiking, mountaineering, mountain biking, so many sports to do. Besides mountain adventure, there is a thriving cultural scene, amazing shops and boutiques, and a fabulous gastronomic offering - including 2 Michelin starred restaurants. The town itself has a charming pedestrianised centre, full of ambiance, bars, cafes, restaurants and shops - plenty to do when you come off the mountain. The smaller suburban villages of Argentiere, Montroc and Les Houches, also offer great access to the mountain trail in a quieter, more relaxed atmosphere. Access to Chamonix is so simple with it being less than an hours drive from Geneva airport, making long weekends and short breaks very easy - from Geneva either hire a car or we can book you an airport transfer. Chamonix has skiing for absolutely everybody but groups and families with non-skiers in their party will also love the range of alternate activities available. Whatever you decide to do, you can be sure that the views will be stunning and the food/ wine will taste great!

Chamonix, situated at the foot of Mont Blanc, is undoubtedly the alpine capital of the world. From December to May mountain lovers flock to Chamonix since it boasts something for skiers and boarders of all abilities, with a chance to enjoy very long runs, tree-lined routes, free riding, beginner slopes and epic off-piste with awe-inspiring scenery and some of the world's steepest and most challenging descents. From June to September, Chamonix becomes the mecca centre for climbing, mountaineering, biking and hiking. Chamonix is a large town, so night owls will also love it here, as there are plenty of buzzing bars continuing late into the night with live bands. Or escape from the party scene in one of the regions excellent cafes and restaurants. There are also plenty of day-time attractions, such as markets, shops and hockey matches, to entertain those who fancy a day off the slopes. Where ever you are your breath will always be taken away by the dramatic scenery when you look up. If you want to venture further afield it is easy to take day trips to neighbouring resorts in Italy and Switzerland, just on the other side of the mountains. Chamonix is the perfect place for weekend breaks, a weeks holiday, a season, or a lifetime, as you will never run out of things to do or tire of the views.

Geneva is the closest airport to Chamonix (98km), however Grenoble, Lyon, Milan or Turin are all less than 2.5 hours drive away. There is a direct road into the town which remains open throughout the year making accessibility so simple. There are plenty of transfer companies running between Geneva Airport and Chamonix which operate very regular services and it has its' own train station - Chamonix SNCF.

Fees No additional mandatory fees

Linen and tourist tax are the only extra costs not included in the price of your holiday. Linen is £16.5 per single bed and £33 per double bed (note not per person). It includes a full bed set, 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel (2 per double bed), bath mat and tea towels. Please be aware that only single linen sets are provided for twin beds since they have single duvets. Tourist tax is €0.90 per night for all persons over 12 years. This is not charged by My French Chalet but is a tax imposed by the resort Mairie on all holidaymakers. However, paying this tax does entitle you to the Chamonix Carte d'Hote (guest card) which offers you free transport in the valley and other discounts around town. All beds come made up and end of stay clean is included in the price. A limited number of cots and high chairs available to hire at £25 each per holiday. You will also be required to provide a £400 security deposit in case of accidental damage to your accommodation.

Deposit of 40% on booking, then full payment is due 8 weeks prior to arrival. We accept credit card payments.

Owner's Cancellation Policy
