Ferrysyde is an extremely spacious 3 story Edwardian house in the prime location within Alnmouth, directly facing the estuary and beach with each room having stunning estuary and sea views. It includes large living areas, 2 kitchens, 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, wonderful sea views, a wood burning stove and south-facing garden. The main living room is situated on the first floor and has a large bay window providing breath-taking sea views. There is also a large dining kitchen on the ground floor and also a breakfast room on the first floor again with spectacular estuary views. The kitchen opens onto a private south facing garden with garden furniture and BBQ facilities. Ferrysyde is located directly opposite the sandy beach and is no more than a 5 minute walk from all village amenities, including restaurants, pubs, coffee shops, newsagents and golf course

Amazing Ferrysyde

We regularly visit Northumberland to catch up with family and our stay at Ferrysyde was by far the best place we have stayed at. The house is gorgeous with its high ceilings, grand hallway and breath-taking views.

Thank you Sue for a lovely stay at Ferrysyde. It is an amazing property. It was a shame we could only stay the week and will definitely stay again.

Absolutely Beautiful

When I booked Ferrysyde for a week away with my family, I had high expectations. The photographs suggested a lovely house in a perfect location.

However, the house exceeded even these high expectations.

It is absolutely beautiful, and you could not ask for a better location to enjoy stunning views, great walking, what feels like your very own beach, and easy driving to many of the delights Northumbria has to offer.

Elegantly decorated and with grand Edwardian proportions, the house somehow also manages to feel luxuriously large and cosy and welcoming at the same time.

The kitchen is extensively equipped and just asks to be cooked in as a family. We welcomed the logs for a fire in the sitting room (it was November) and, throughout the stay, never needed anything that hadn't already been considered and made available.

Sue was a real help in booking the property. We had all the details we needed and my security deposit was promptly returned.

This is quite a big house - so if you aren't comfortable walking about a bit or managing a lot of stairs it might not be for you. But for anyone happy with that, Ferrysyde is pretty much perfect....

Just accept that your own kitchen might look a bit small afterwards and you'll be planning your return even as you are driving away on your last day!
