About the Owner

We live in the UK with our 4 children who range from 5-18 years old. We have been holidaying at the apartment for 9 years. We also spend time there with our friends. Each of us love our apartment for various reasons, Tony & I love the relaxing pace of the holiday. Our children love the pool, beaches, activities & nightlife. Has the weather is great all year round & not far to travel from the UK ( 2hour 40mins flight) we can take regular breaks should it be for a long weekend or family holiday.

Lovely spacious penthouse

Lovely spacious apartment with an amazing view from the large terrace, Ideal for having a barbecue with family and friends after spending a day on one of the lovely sandy beaches nearby.

The property is well maintained and equipped with every thing you could need for a relaxing holiday also there is a large pool nearby.

La Zenia boulevard is in easy walking distance for shops and restaurants etc and there is a street market every Saturday at the end of the road.

The Owners and Karen who looks after the property were very helpful with good communication during booking and while on holiday.

We would recommend it and hope to return soon.

Lovely spacious apartment

The apartment is in a central position being close to shops, restaurants, bars and the Saturday market. It was very peaceful and quiet. Lovely and spacious both inside and outside on the terrace area with view of the sea. Both the owners and Karen the key holder very helpful and quick to sort out any minor problems. Quite a few stairs to climb to get up but well worth it. Would recommend this property.

Fantastic :-) my family loved it x

The holiday was amazing :)

The appartment was perfect for us and mainly because it was so spacious and so much room .

7 of us had plenty of room to chill on many a hot evenings.

Our main source of happiness was from Karen she met us when we arrived and even took us food shopping which we ended up filling her car as we fed 7 for ten days :-/

She was so helpful and even sorted a car last min for us so we could travel further with my family!

My son is autistic and she did everything possible to make our stay easy.

We can't wait to go back and stay here again

Best of both worlds

We love this appartment,the facilities are second to none,the view from the viranda whilst alfresco dining is a delight.We love having all the comforts of being at home plus the wonderful weather ,beaches ,pool,amazing restaurants,and so many places to explore all within easy reach.Cannot wait to go back.

Top floor and top marks.

First class apartment, with first class facilities,brilliant terrace,wonderful location in a nice area with easy access to shops ,pubs ,restaurants and a pool. A genuine home from home, Cannot wait to go again, so many places still to try, but staying in was a pleasure too. Loved it!

We went on a family holiday to Playa Flamenca and fell in love with the area! We love the relaxing pace, easy transfer times from airports, walking distance to all activities and amenities. The apartment is big enough for each of our families needs. The communal pool is ideal for our children to make friends which is gated and has a life guard during peak season. The local residents are friendly and very helpful:

Activity and Interests

Coast/Beach:

The local Playa Flamenca beaches are less then a mile away and have been awarded the European Blue Flag.The Orihuela costa is 16km of coastline at the southern end of the Costa Blanca. The main beaches have services such as showers, toilets, ramps life guards, first aid and small beach bars in high season. There are also two sports marinas on the Costa for water sports.

Travel:

Playa Flamenca is a 20 minute drive from Murcia (San Javier) airport, Playa flamenca is accessable from the N332 coast road or the AP 7 motorway. Alicante airport is a 40 minute drive to Playa Flamenca on the N332 or AP7 It is not essential to hire a car as all amenities are within walking distance, there are also local buses. Our key holder can provide airport transfers by arrangement if not hiring a car.

Distances:

The Mercadona supermarket and Zenia Boulevard shopping centre are a 15 minute walk. There is also a local bank and gym including bars and shops. The Saturday market takes place nearby. There are lots of attractions to suit all ages and tastes, such as go-karting ,museums, horse riding, quad biking, water parks, zoo, salt lakes, bowling, mini golf . Just a 20 minute drive is Mar Menor famous for its water sports and mud baths. Details for attraction, activities are available in the apartment.

Further Details:

At the apartment you will find telephone number for emergency services, medical centres, taxi's and airports. There is also a folder for various tried and tested restaurants and bars within the local area. The Flamenca beach commercial centre, via park centres and the Boulevard shopping centre have an array of different foods, shops sell everything from souvenirs, crafts to clothing and furniture. For those wishing to venture further a field the key holder can provide transport Local buses are also available. The key holder is also available to assist when necessary.

Payment to be made in sterling a deposit of £150 is required to secure booking, full payment is due 10 weeks prior to holiday. A fully refundable bond of £100 is required with final payment.

We are within walking distance to the beaches, bars, restaurants and shopping centre, a car is not essential however a short drive away will bring you to lots of superb beaches, shops etc. Benidorm is only an hours drive away. We have spent many evenings barbequing on our balcony whilst the children have played or spent time in the pool.
