Hen Graig is a beautifully situated end-terrace cottage right on the seafront, overlooking the beach in the centre of the picturesque village of Bull Bay. The accommodation is luxurious and spacious being ideal for a family. From the front door you can join the Coastal Footpath or take a short walk to the 18 hole golf course or local hotel and pub both serving bar food. A short drive takes you to the next village, Cemaes Bay with shops, cafes and several pubs including the Stag. Great care has been taken in the refurbishment of this house to retain character and charm using carefully chosen soft furnishings and fabrics, local ash floors and a beautifully turned spiral staircase, nothing has been forgotten to make your stay memorable.TV/DVD with Sky+ throughout and wireless internet connection. Hen Graig is located in one of the most picturesque locations in North Wales in the tiny hamlet of Bull Bay Anglesey, near the “Old Copper Town” of Port Amlwch.”Bull Bay/”Porth Llechog” – “Llechog” referred to the rocky, stormy nature of the area, but the cove may once have been named ‘Porth Llechod’ which means ‘bay of excellent shelter’. The English name ‘Bull Bay’ is thought to be more recently derived from the name of a pool on the beach called ‘Pwll y Tarw’; the Bull’s Pool.Literally the frontage sits on the now renowned Anglesey Coastal Path. The property was originally built in 1750.

We have just come back from a lovely week at Hen Griag and the weather was kind to us too, which was an added bonus.

We were a party of 5, 3 adults, 2 children (13 and 9) and our sausage dog.

It was lovely to sit out and watch the comings and goings in the Bay. The children and the dog enjoyed having the Bay as their front garden!

The cottage was lovely, clean, comfortable and very well equipped.

We would definitely recommend and one day return.

Fantastic holiday in an amazing and wonderful property!

We stayed in early September 2016. We were a party of 6, including 2 children plus a dog.

The property is just beautiful! Every possible thing that we could ever need, plus more! was available.

We had mostly sunny days, and even on the rainy one, we had lots to keep us happy, and threw on coats and wellies and had fun anyway.

The cot and highchair were appreciated. There was even a dog blanket, towel and bowl! (bless)

We loved the style of the property, no expense spared on the improvements, especially the velux windows (i want those!) and the juliet balcony.

Great practical kitchen, made suunday lunch and it was easy in the well planned kitchen, and had a great selection of pots and pans etc.

Highlights were splashing in the sea, hunting rockpools, cliff path walks where we saw dolphins and seals, magical!

We had a really lovely and very wonderful holiday.

It is a very special property. we will be back!

Perfect location

We were a party of 6 including 3 children - the location and layout of this cottage meant that we had one of the most relaxed holidays ever.

The cottage is very well equipped and spacious - there really was everything we could need.

The kids were able to go straight out of the front door and onto the beach every day - it isn't sandy but they prefer rock pools and boating so that wasn't a problem.

The adults were able to watch them from the comfort of the terrace with a cuppa (or a glass of something!) and just relax.

I would definitely recommend it.

Where do I begin,Once again "OwnersDirect" were The Company of choice to use for source material. and Hen Graig was that correct choice,We arrived two days ago and I am already spending precious time reviewing how awesome this property is,I have just returned from kayaking in the Bay outside and having caught two mackerel for tomorrows breakfast,however I am struggling! where do I cook them ! the kitchen is so fantastic!! so complete !I am worried about making a mess! in fact I am worried about walking through the front door the whole house is a show house it shows what you can do with the right amount of money and know how, truthfully who ever designed this home new what they were doing they earned every penny,no expense has been spared to make this home utterly complete and We are honoured to be able to stay in such a fabulous house. Just for example!

The Master Bedrooms large Window at the foot of the bed is positioned so perfectly you need only to sit up in bed to bear witness to one of mother natures wonders,for as the sky lights red,and the clouds appear to catch fire, the Sun makes its appearance and at that moment the sky turns red you hear through your open window the call from a curlew accompanied by the sound of the crash of the waves as they beak over stones.in the bay below. was it only hours ago that you looked out over the same scene and saw countless constellations Cassiopeia, Aries,Pegasus and Orion, the dark sky from this site is truly awesome.In summing up a week, fortnight or a months stay at Hen Graig would enrich your life and the money and time spent here would be well spent and not be wasted.
