Outstanding Apartment

Very accurate description of location and property. Very big spacious one apartment with excellent outside space. Absolutely clean throughout. Owner couldn't of been anymore helpful, lovely welcome pack which was very practical and nice. I would recommend this property to all my friends and I am looking forward to returning next year. The restaurants that were recommended were absolutely gorgeous and should be availed of by everybody.

Excellent apartments and location

This was our second year staying at Flora apartment and again all the boxes were ticked.

The pool was never too busy and always clean - very peaceful in the morning

The location of the apartment is perfect for exploring the area and local beaches and in easy walking distance of marina and restaurants.

The communication with Flora is as smooth as it goes where she has one aim for you to enjoy your holiday.

One point for the management company - some of the buildings could do with a paint in the near future just to spruce the complex up

Amazing apartment

Flora (the landlady) was extremely helpful and made this whole experience very smooth and easy. The apartment was absolutely superb making my holiday even more enjoyable.

Definitely would recommend and will go there myself.

Spacious light and airy apartment

LOCATION - very peaceful location an easy stroll from the marina. The front balcony overlooks the pool and several large trees which offer welcome shade. The side balcony offers more open views over the town. Overall we couldn't fault the location.

CAR HIRE - what really made our holiday was to hire a car through Zit Autos from Faro airport. Rather unothodox operation working out of a van parked in car park, but we got an almost brand new car for 10 days at a very competitive rate. Payment is by cash. This allowed us to visit a different beach every day and travel to other towns in the area.

PROPERTY - this exceeded our expectations - spacious and airy and everything immaculately clean. Would certainly book again if visiting Vilamoura. The pool is kept immaculately clean with the maintenance man there every day.

RESTAURANTS - huge choice at the marina - our favourite was Akvavit - a cut above the others but also more expensive. We also enjoyed La Cabane and A Cabana in Quarteria on separate evenings.

A big thank you to Flora for helping make this a very relaxed and enjoyable holiday.

Very Good Value for Great Location

Apartment was lovely living up to expectations and description. Excellent terraces -2 with spacious accommodation both inside and out. Gorgeous view across Vilamoura and sunsets are perfect. Located within comfortable walking distance of a Spar shop and onto restaurants and marina. If legs don't feel like walking taxis are readily available for approximately 6euro at night. We explored the East Algarve by car and found our location to be excellent for this as Faro was close by with Tavira less than an hour's drive away and Albufeira to the west easy to navigate and visit for shopping. Vilamoura has some lovely restaurants, shops and bars with something for everyone. We visited Flora's apartment early May when weather was wet but still had a great time away from the norm and felt as if we were coming home each time we returned to the apartment. Flora was great throughout our booking and stay and made us feel very welcome - the welcome pack was much appreciated! Highly recommended for lovely relaxing stay...will be keeping on my list of places to return to!

Excellent apartment

Very clean, spacious, well presented apartment. Loved the roof terrace for evening drinks. Well maintained gardens and pool area. Pool cleaned every day. 15 minute walk into marina. Could not find any fault with this apartment. The welcome pack was a lovely gesture. Flora the owner is very helpful and friendly. Would definitely return.

From the Owner

We like the area of Vilamoura and have been holidaying there for many years. Vilamoura is close to the airport (20 minutes drive) and has access to many beautiful beaches such as Falesia, Vilamoura and Praia de Ze. It is also close to Quarteira where there a lots of Portuguese restaurants, a fish and vegetable market and the endless beautiful promenade that now runs from the tip of Quarteira all the way to Vilamoura. We enjoy cycling and this is perfect for us. Our property location is in a quiet area but if you wanted to go to the lively area it is just a 15 minute walk.

Nearest Airport : Faro. 20 minute drive away at 15 Kilometres Nearest Barpub : Vilamoura Marina at 1 Kilometres Nearest Golf : Vila Sol/Pinhal Golf Courses at 3 Kilometres Nearest Train : Faro centre at 15 Kilometres Nearest Motorway : A22/N125 at 3 Kilometres Nearest Restaurant : Various at 1 Kilometres Nearest Beach : Falesia/Quarteira/Vilamoura at 1 Miles Car: not necessary


Beautiful sandy beaches, 10 minute walk to local beaches Falecia, Vilamoura and Quarteira. Traditional Portuguese restaurants available in Quarteira as well as a home grown fruit market and fish markets. Walks along the promenade is highly recommended.


Faro Airport is 20 minutes away. Car hire is recommended to discover traditional Portugal, beautiful beaches and breath taking scenery. Lisbon Airport is a 2 hour car drive on toll roads.


10 minute walk to Vilamoura Marina where you can find fantastic restaurants and nightlife. There is a fruit and fish market in the village of Quarteira and a visit is highly recommended for locally caught fish, fruit and vegetables. A half hour drive to Albufeira, Vale de Lobo, Faro City and Loule where you can find its Church and cobbled streets. If you want to drive further afield, we recommend a trip to Tavira (1 hour) or Seville in Spain which is a 2 hour drive on the toll roads.

Further Details:

There are many supermarkets in Vilamoura. The closest being the Spar shop which is a 10 minute walk. Bigger supermarkets can be found in Quarteira and Loule. Quarteira is just 5 minutes drive away. Loule is a 15 minute drive. Also walking distance is the Bank, a Catholic Church and all general stores.
