Heddwch is an imposing detached house, newly built, just 300 yards from one of Pembrokeshire’s finest sandy beaches - Broad Haven. Finished to a very high standard, it is deceptively spacious and furnished in a contemporary style with wooden floors throughout, the modern fitted kitchen has a large oak table that seats 14, ideal for family gatherings and 2 steps lead up to the spacious lounge area with A-frame beams and a wood burning stove for chillier evenings. Bi-fold doors open right back to a paved patio and enclosed, sheltered lawned garden offering marvellous sea views, perfect to enjoy leisurely alfresco meals after a day on the beach, while a second lounge gives plenty of space to relax. The super large bedrooms spread over 2 floors above and make a welcome retreat - ideal for the whole family. The location is perfect with the beautiful sandy beach of Broad Haven, a firm favourite with families and surfers alike just a short walk away, there is also a village shop, pub and restaurant in the village or why not take up a new water sport from the hire shop. Days can be spent on the beach or join the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path to explore this beautiful coastline. The picturesque harbour village of Little Haven lies just over the headland or can be reached via the beach at low tide and has more pubs and restaurants to try. A wonderful quality holiday home perfect for family gatherings or friends to get together and is sure to give holiday memories to treasure. This is a no smoking property. Holiday Cottage Layout. Notes on accommodation: Vehicular Access - Access is gained to the property directly via a B-road. The property has a wide, fully drained, tarmac driveway with turning possible within the driveway and can accommodate up to 4 vehicles comfortably. The driveway is lit by an outside lamp and floodlight. Front Door - Access to the front door is available from the tarmac driveway via a wheelchair/pushchair friendly paving slab ramp. The wide front door has an opening of over 1.0m and a flush threshold with the outside access ramp. Access can be gained to the whole of the ground floor (with the exception of the main lounge) on the same level. This includes a WC and shower room. The access is lit by 2 outside lamps. Back Door - Access is gained down five 1.5m wide x 0.3m deep x 0.2m high steps, one step up to the threshold which again gives access to the whole ground floor (excepting the main lounge). The access is lit by floodlight and outside lamp. Outside: Large Parking Area, Gardens to side and rear with large Patio Area Utility Room: Wine Cooler, Washing Machine, Tumble Dryer, Iron and Board Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Supplied with all bed linen, Bath Towels and Hand Towels Other: Second Living room with setees, Ipod dock, gas fire. Study with Computer Printer, writing desk and chair

Lovely, spacious place. Everything you need for a lovely break

Lovely, spacious place. Short work from the town but just far enough to be peaceful. We stayed with family but also suited well for groups of friends. Kids loved the xbox up on the top floor.

Beautiful house, very well equipped, amazing view.

The house and setting is beautiful and has everything you need for your stay. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of room. The sitting room is a lovely space with comfy sofas and the views again are stunning The outside patio area is a lovely sun trap and the sea views are amazing. We felt very much at home and were sad to leave. Perfect for families or groups of friends. Highly recommended! We look forward to staying again in the future 😀x

The property was very comfortable and well equipped. Perhaps over equipped in the kitchen as there were quite a few items in the kitchen cupboards that were not required and there was little space for food storage. The request made to the Manager was quickly actioned. The property was very clean and its location is wonderful for a family as the beach is very close and there is a lovely walk along a stream close by. It was necessary to ensure the front door was closed as the driveway was open to the main road which was quite busy and if very young children or dogs had got into the driveway they could have been in serious danger. The front door was a little difficult to lock.

Owner's Response: Dear Anonymous, Many thanks for your candid review. To answer the points raised, we equip the house so that we can cover all size and mix of parties with differing ages. The property may have seemed to you over-equipped but you will be surprised what different parties need over a weeks holiday. It has never been suggested that there is not enough food storage by any previous guest, however, if that is an issue there is always an option to decant unwanted cutlery and crockery to another room, Lounges, Utility, Study etc. where there is ample storage and then return the items to the kitchen prior to your departure. The front door and driveway do offer unhindered access to the narrow B-road that forms part of the village network of roads and these narrow roads do get quite busy in the holiday periods. The property is not rented as an isolated property and for that very reason has close pedestrian and vehicle access to all the village amenities and the beach and as a consequence the local road network. However, we would always recommend that guests act as responsibly as they would in their own homes and do not leave the front door open with unsupervised small children or dogs. When the front door is closed, the whole house and indeed the private rear and side gardens which are bounded, securely gated and fenced from the outside provide a large very private and safe area for enjoyment by all guests and most importantly a safe and worry free environment for children and dogs to play. We note your comments about the door lock, if we had known when we came to fit the additional child locks you requested we would have dealt with it then, but we thank you for now notifying us and we will put it on our next maintenance visit Many thanks Paul and Hazel

The whole family enjoyed staying at the cottage,plenty of room. well furnished and supplied.The location was perfect for us. The beech is amazing. Would definitely like to go back. Highly recommended.

Excellent house in a beautiful location.

Excellent property with a well thought out layout. Everything provided and lovely small touches like hamper and xmas decorations. Stayed as 3 families of 11 inc 5 children and a dog. Short stroll to the beach and local cafe bar. An excellent holiday and would definitely recommend this property for a large group.

Fantastic Holiday Cottage

What a fantastic stay we had, we cannot fault the cottage in any way. It is stunning , immaculate, spacious, light and airy with a great garden and lovely views of the sea. It is close the beach, the village and all amenities with beautiful countryside and coastal paths all around.

We have already recommended it to many family and friends and we will definitely be back. Owners Hazel and Paul have thought of everything to make adults and children feel very welcome.
