La Petite Folie apartment is on the top floor of the Florimont, a new residence in central Morzine, situated at the bottom of the Pleney slopes. The south facing apartment boasts glorious views of Nyon and the surrounding landscape.

The apartment is ski in/ski out, weather permitting.

The apartment is also located very close to the town centre, a few minutes walk to the main area, with restaurants, shops, bars and all amenities.

A ski bus stop is 200 m away. Although close to town, the apartment is located on a small road, and the property is quiet and private.

The apartment is brand new and has been designed and decorated in a contemporary style.

The living room and kitchen area has large windows and high ceilings, which combine to make it a very light and airy space. There are stunning views from every window, either across the Pleney slopes or down the valley towards Nyon.

There are 2 parking spaces, 1 covered, which is great in cold weather.

Well laid out perfect 2 bedroom property

very well thought out apartment with everything you could really wish for. We stayed as a family with two children for skiing and the apartment suited us perfectly. The location is ideal for a true ski in/ski out (assuming there is snow at low level in the resort) It is also very handy for the shops around the Pleney.

We would stay again without question.

Perfectly suited

The apartment perfectly suited all our requirements, comfortable, homely with good quality furnishings and wares. We loved the location, slightly removed from the town and feeling like you were not completely surrounded by tourists was great. Only a very short distance from all amenities, our children were able to walk to and from town alone if desired too. This all added to the overall experience. We were unlucky with the lack of snow but we still really enjoyed our stay - perhaps another time we would even have the added luxury of ski in ski out. Having said that a ten minute drive to a free car park at Ardent was easy.

Lovely apartment, great location.

Really lovely apartment, plenty of space for 4 of us. New building with locked store room for skiis boots etc on the ground floor. Perfect location. Quiet position with mountain views but a short walk from the shops bars etc of the town. Nursery slopes & one ski lift walkable. Ski bus stop a short stroll down the road. Lots of useful info & recommendations from the owners. Good communication & straightforward booking. Highly recommend it. 10 out of 10!

Fabulous apartment in a perfect location

What a fantastic place! Morzine is such a beautiful town with the ideal mix of shops, cafes, bars, restaurants and of course ski and snowboard facilities. The apartment was perfect for this in every way. It is far away enough from the centre to be quiet, on the top floor so had stunning views, equipped with everything you could possibly need to feel welcomed and homely, as well as being clean and very new! We had 5 people staying and all had plenty of room to socialise and sometimes keep ourselves to ourselves. We also had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook a variety of meals.

The ski locker downstairs is huge with more than enough room for everybodies gear and also prevents you having to go upstairs with your skis after a long day on the slopes!

It is easy to get to the slopes and also easy to walk into Morzine to the shops and cafes/bars.

I highly recommend this brilliant apartment - we had such a lovely time and would return anytime!

Highly recommended, comfortable, relaxing

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in La Petite Folie over the new year. The apartment is spacious, clean, warm, cosy and has everything you could need. It is perfectly located just a 5 minute walk to the town centre and slopes. Sarah was so helpful and friendly when showing us around and recommending local attractions. Fellow residents were also incredibly friendly and welcoming. There's so much to do in and around Morzine I could have easily stayed for longer! Thank you so much for making our stay so hassle free and comfortable!

From the owners Bill and Penny: We love Morzine because it is a real town, rather than a purpose-built resort. The skiing is also great, there's so much of it! With the Portes du Soleil you can access more than 650 km of pistes, taking in Switzerland and France. However, there's still loads to do even if you just decide to explore one area, such as Les Gets or Avoriaz for the week. You can always come back to stay again! The town is really young and vibrant, with loads to do for kids and teenagers, but also lots to do for young adults and older adults too. The restaurants, bars and apres-ski are second to none. We hope you enjoy Morzine as much as we do.

Activity and Interests

Car: recommended

Travel:

The nearest airport is Geneva, a 1hr 15 minute drive away.

As the apartment is located so centrally, you don't need a car, but if you do decide to drive there are 2 parking spaces, one of which is covered. The drive from Calais is approximately 8 hours.

Cars are also easily rented at Geneva airport.

We can organise discounted transfer mini-buses from the airport for you, which drop you off and pick you up from the apartment.

Distances:

Morzine town centre is about 0.5 km away.

The nearest pub is about 300m away.

The nearest ski lift is the drag lift 100m from the apartment.

The ski bus stop is 200m away.

Further Details:

Morzine has plenty of great restaurants and bars, along with shops selling souvenirs, local produce and ski and snowboard gear and clothing. We recommend Attack Attack snowboard shop on the Rue du Bourg, the Bec Jaune microbrewery at the opposite end of the Pleney road to the apartment (still only a 5 minute walk!) and La Chaudanne restaurant.

The best thing about La Petite Folie is the location. It's rare to be so close to the centre of town but still have quiet and privacy. The ski bus doesn't run on our actual road, but as the apartment is so close to the end of the road, it's still only a 200m walk to the nearest bus stop. Obviously the possibility of ski in/ski out is fantastic and again, rare in Morzine. La Petite Folie is the sort of apartment you would usually find in smaller resorts, or on the outskirts of town, but it's located right next to the centre of one of the areas largest and best resorts.

  • Notes on accommodation: In-resort managers are available to help with any queries you may have and we can also provide other services for you, such as organising discounted airport transfers, helping you book ski hire, providing welcome food packs, daily cleans, babysitters and much more. Check out- 10am Check in- 4pm Outside: There is also a ski locker on the ground floor, with heated boot racks, so your boots stay warm and dry and you don't need to lug your equipment upstairs. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen, towels and an end of stay is included in the price. We ask that you leave the apartment in a good state when you leave please.
