A large 1 bedroom apartment just a couple of minutes walk from the beach. Located on the first floor of a small, clean, well maintained block within the heart of La Cala de Mijas close to Butibamba Park and Gran Hotel Costa del sol. The apartment faces South with plenty of sunshine and overlooks the swimming pool and gardens. Full UK TV (including movies and catch up) plus FREE WIFI.

We want you to relax as soon as you walk through the door, so we provide a complimentary welcome pack (tea, coffee, sugar, milk, water and a bottle of wine) for you to enjoy. If however, you would like us to provide a more substantial larder we will be happy to do so at cost price plus a €10 surcharge.

La Cala has everything you need and all within walking distance. With a bus stop just outside the door taking you to both Fuengirola and Marbella there's no need for a car. Don't stress about getting to the apartment, we can arrange airport transfers (€50 each way).

Worst appartment we ever stayed in.

Only one lamp in the livingroom. Deepfrezer not cleaned. Could not use the oven because no light to see the indicators. The TV did not function. We tried to get Contact with the owner After four Days Contact and a promise to call back. No further Contact until one week. the owner changed lamps that stopped function after two Days. No table in front of sofa. When we had coffe in the sofa we must use the floor as a table. Bedroom was ok but other decoration very poor and simpe quality. We will never come back.

Excellent apt

Ideally situated no need for a car.

Short walk into La Cala ,beach and large supermarket across road .Apt has everything you will need for a lovely holiday .

Lovely apartment close to the beach, bars and restaurants

We enjoyed our stay in the apartment with the beach only a few mins walk away. We were picked up at the airport by Paul who took us to the apartment and gave us a quick tour. The apartment was central to all La Cala had to offer and we would certainly book again.

Excellent location

Five minutes walk to beach easy access to Marbella & Fuengirola, wide choice of restaurants and bars in La cala. Jo met us at the apartment and went through the workings to the TV, wifi etc. We had a lovely stay and will definitely return.

Basic but adequate

This is a roomy apartment with everything that you need for a stay on la Cala . Near busy road but no road noise in apartment or on balcony. Noise from other residents around pool very loud though as it was school holidays. Parking a huge problem in August but car not really needed in this resort. We had one for getting to golf courses, would highly recommend Calanova course now refurbished. No instructions of any sort in apartment, took us a while to find out how to get to pool and never worked out the TV. Fan didn't work but air con good. Basic place but good value for money.

Very central and basically good but needs an upgrade on linen and accessories

Towels were from some random hotel, chipped cups, grubby shower curtain. Scant bed linen. No instructions on appliances, lights, TV system etc, wi fi details not clear and absolutely no contact details for the owners provided otherwise could be an excellent place with a little money spent on linen etc. Near the centre of La Cala and beach with lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Potentially a great apartment. I would recommend this property and revisit if upgrade of crockery, linen, towels etc. Also contact, wi if etc details should be displayed in the apartment.

Owner's Response: We pride ourselves on giving a personal service which is why we meet and greet our guests on the day of their arrival and guide them through all the aspects and workings of the apartment; TV, WIFI, air con etc. I believe you were no exception and Paul went through and explained/demonstrated all of this to you and your husband? I'm not sure how helpful instructions on how to switch a light on would be? Your booking was for just 2 people, however when you asked for extra towels and linen on arrival because you had other family staying with you I believe we accommodated you and waived the fee normally charged for additional people? My details are on the OD site through which you managed to contact me a few days into your stay. Paul came round and once again showed your husband how to turn the TV on and where the password for the WIFI is located. All of our towels, linen and crockery were purchased new.

Location

When we decided to buy a property here in Spain there was no doubt it had to be in La Cala de Mijas and Riviera del SOl. Just 20 minutes from Malaga Airport and 20 minutes from Marbella and Puerto Banus it's the perfect place to be. It has it all!!! Beautiful beach, bars, restaurants, shops, banks, supermarkets and a fantastic park and it's ALL with walking distance.

10 Minute drive to Fuengirola, 20 minute drive to Marbella, 15 minute drive to Mijas Village.

The property is within walking distance of everything in La Cala de Mijas. In addition, there are a number or cafes/restaurants right outside the property. A lidl supermarket is just across the road and there is a pull along trolley inside the apartment for you to use. Buses into Fuengirola and Marbella are right outside the door. Numerous golf courses are just a short taxi ride away and the taxi rank is within walking distance.
