This beautiful and stylishly refurbished apartment comfortably sleeps 2-6 people in 3 separate areas, there is a double bed room upon entering the apartment, then a small bunk room and comfortable double sofa bed in the living area.

Situated in the snow sure resort of Les Arcs 2000, there is doorstep skiing to 425km of pistes in the fantastic Paradiski area to suit all abilities. South facing with a very sunny balcony it has beautiful piste views.

*Absolutely everything was brand new for winter 2015 including comfy mattresses, all furniture, I pod dock, flatscreen TV with UK satellite channels and built in hard drive with hundreds of films, well equipped kitchen etc. The apartment was originally an open plan spacious studio and has now been cleverly converted to create private and separate sleeping areas - with the double room at the front and bunk room which can be closed off for privacy from the main living area.

The apartment is in a quiet location, 2 minute walk to the centre of the resort for après ski, restaurants and shops, linked by free gondola to Arc 1950 for even more amenities there.

The apartment is stocked up ready for your arrival with little extras to get you started: tea, coffee, sugar, key herbs and spices, hand soap, toilet paper, washing up liquid, bin bags, cloths and sponges.

You have the option to take the towel and linen service for £15pp, the end of week cleaning service is £50 if you do not want to clean it yourselves.

I live in resort so here to help with any questions you may have and meet you upon arrival. Arc 2000 is very easy to reach by train from London (then free public transport with lift pass to Arc 2000), also by car or bus from Chambery, Geneva, Grenoble or Lyon airports where multiple budget airlines fly to.

*Apartment is perfectly spacious for 2-4 people and would recommend 4 adults maximum but it can physically sleep 6 if you don't mind cosy living.

The apartment is rented weekly with Saturday as changeover day, however if you are interested in staying for a few nights then please just enquire as I can sometimes be more flexible out of peak weeks.

Fantastic apartment in a great resort

If there's a small group or family looking for somewhere clean, modern and well located then you'd be hard pushed to do better.

The apartment looked great in the pictures and is as good in reality. There was everything we needed for a self-catering break and sheets and towels were a useful and recommended extra. It is located on the edge of the resort away from noise and disturbance and yet within just a couple of minutes walk of the shops and bars and is very convenient for the shuttle bus.

The views from the big windows and balcony are breathtaking - you can see the cable car up on the Aiguille Rouge and a panorama of the resort above Arc 2000. The afternoon sun pours in and there's a lovely sofa bed for those midday naps! Perfect after all the morning exertions on the slopes!

The apartment sleeps six and there is a separate bunk-bed room so it'd be perfect for a family or small group.

The owner, Sophie, was very helpful, sending us information prior to our trip and she was there to meet us upon arrival and departure.

Arc 2000 is a great resort. It's high enough to be fairly snow-sure but still easy to reach. We came on the Eurostar train (but it's also straightforward driving) and it's a simple but exciting transfer up the mountain on the furnicular. If you arrive early you can leave your baggage in the tourist information centre across the road (for a small charge) so you can get skiing straight off. The other benefit of 2000 is that it's a simple 5 minute trip down the (free) cable car to 1950 so you effectively get two resorts in one.

We would definitely go back and apparently there's really good walking and biking in the summer. Fantastic!

Everything you need in the middle of the ski area

Sophie provided us with the necessary information that allowed us to arrive well prepared. We arrived early Saturday morning and we enjoyed skiing before accessing the apartment. All looks modernized and all facilities required are available. We had a great week in Les Arcs. Thanks Sophie for the hospitality.

Perfect apartment for a great ski holiday

Just spent a fantastic week in this stunning apartment, right on the slopes of Arc 2000. True value for money, this apartment is a real bargain - really cosy and well thought out, with absolutely everything we needed and more (cleaning products also provided!). The owner was more than accommodating after a very long delayed transfer, and her partner was really helpful with slopes to ski and places to drink. We would really recommend this apartment for 4 people / 2 couples, and we'll definitely be back in future years.

Les Arcs 2000 apartment

What a lovely apartment. The owner has refurbished it tastefully and very cleverly, making best use of the space. It is very well appointed, with everything that you might need provided for.

The apartment's description is very accurate (quite the most detailed and helpful description I have seen). And the owner was just as helpful before and after arrival. She provided very useful resort information, sorted out our ski passes, she helped us with mid-holiday problems with our car, and it was clear that she wanted us to enjoy our stay.

The resort itself is perfect for beginners - true blue runs and good nursery slopes - and for intermediates there are lovely red runs through tree lined slopes, a snow park, and just lovely slopes where you can cut around and do your own thing. We're not experts but there are black runs too.... Something for everyone.

We would recommend this apartment for sure.

Great Apartment

We had a great holiday in Les Arc. The apartment is small but comfortable as it has been so cleverly set out. We received a very warm welcome with essentials provided. Great galley style kitchen facilities. The table seats 6. We were a party of 4 and found it very comfy. We found access straight forward, there are 4 lifts that service this floor. We found the Varet Apartment block which this apartment is part of to be well maintained, quiet & clean. We would recommend to friends & family.

Having skied across most French resorts, Les Arcs in the Paradiski area offers some of the best skiing you can get and the apartment maximizes that being ski to door. Being at 2100 metres high it is snow sure and great to have the luxury of not queuing for the gondola each morning; it is so easy to get onto the slopes each day. The apartment benefits from being in a quiet location but just a stone’s throw away from the main square ‘Place Olympique’ and the chalets road where there are a selection of bars and restaurants to choose from. Arc 2000 is a high altitude, purpose built resort which is linked to the Resort of 1950, the gondola runs for free until 11pm in the evening from 2000, meaning that you can benefit from the best of both resorts in the evenings.

Les Arcs 2000 is very easy to reach from Chambery, Geneva, Grenoble and Lyon airports via budget or charter airlines, there are buses to Les Arcs and Bourg St Maurice from the airports and trains into Bourg. Trains can go direct from London St Pancras to Bourg St Maurice with Eurostar. From Bourg the funicular railway goes up to Les Arcs 1600 (free with lift pass), there is then a free shuttle bus to Arc 2000 (15 mins).

Parking: Car not required for Arc 2000. Parking available outside apartment building, drop off and first 2 hours free. Free parking available down the road with a 5 min free bus back up. Arc 2000 parking is chargeable at 65€ outside and 80€ covered per week.

Other activities: Non-skiers and everyone can also benefit from Snow shoeing, Dog sledging, Bowling, Luxury Spa in 1950 (free all day Gondola takes you down 50m to the pretty village of 1950, pool and wellness centre access from 20€), trip to Bourg for the market and shopping, Ice caves, Luge run, walkers passes available for chairlifts for lunch on the mountains, in resort cafes and après ski and an in resort entertainment plan including firework displays each week in the peak weeks, you can enjoy them from the apartment balcony!

From the Owner

You will not have any hassle posting keys or trying to find the in resort agent and locate the property which is usually the case with self catered apartments. I am based in resort so able to show you to the apartment and give you any information you require. The apartment is stocked up with little extras to make your arrival more homely and for the convenience of you not having to purchase some things whilst you are here. If you don’t want to pack your own bed linen using up valuable luggage space, feel free to make use of the options for beds to be made up and towels provided at the start of the week. As I live in resort I make sure that the apartment it is cleaned to immaculate standards each week ready for your holiday. At the end of the week upon departure I will come to you to collect the keys, this makes the start and end of your holiday quick and hassle free with a personal service.
