About Rachel Bryson

We used to live and work in Sussex and bought the cottage in 2010 so that we could continue to enjoy spending time in West Sussex with our three children.

We love visiting throughout the year, going on days out to the beach, visiting Arundel castle, eating out in the many different cafes, pubs and restaurants and

going to London on the train.

Rachel Bryson purchased this cottage in 2010

Perfect location for our trip to Goodwood

  • 5 of 5

Spend a super 2 days at St George's Cottage. Great location in central Arundel. We were 2 adult couples sharing and found the cottage comfortable for our stay. We were out all day, but the cottage provided 2 good bedrooms (as doubles), a shared bathroom, kitchen.

Owner replied very quickly and kept us updated on all information. Returned our deposit swiftly too..much appreciated.

Couple of tiny comments, and nothing that would not stop us coming back, which we hope same time next year.

A larger size TV, we could hardly see the small TV in the lounge , but understand it is a small cottage.

A little rug, and carpet shampoo needed.

All in all we thought the cottage was Fab, and would recommend to anyone!

Beautiful cottage in a beautiful location

  • 5 of 5

The pictures don't do this property justice! When I booked up this cottage for a group of 6 we were expecting it to be a bit of a squeeze. On the contrary we found that the cottage was modern, spacious and scrupulously clean and tidy. We had all the appliances we needed bar a freezer which in all honesty is understandable.

The location is fantastic being so close to Arundels shops, tourist attractions and most importantly Pubs:

Only trouble we really had was Parking as it seems to be a bit of a free for all for tourists and local residents with no parking restrictions in the area apart from some double yellows and a couple of disabled bays.

In all we all loved this little cottage and would highly recommend to anyone wishing to come visit Arundel and its surrounding areas.

The Owner was also very helpful and gave us all the information we needed to enjoy our stay.

Fantastic house in the ideal location to explore Arundel. We spent a week in the house with 2 adults and 3 kids. The house was clean and comfortable with everything you needed for a fantastic stay provided. Would definitely recommend.

Very well presented and comfortable.

  • 4 of 5

The house was well presented and very comfortable. The location was excellent - Arundle with its buildings and the river all add to the interest , and the surrounding area is also full of interest.

Being pre warned to take our own cleaning products would have been helpful. The difficulty of parking outside the property could be a problem for anyone with mobility problems. There are however 2 or 3 disabled bays nearby.

Cosy, homely comfortable cottage set in the heart of historic arundel

  • 4 of 5

Very quaint cottage in the picturesque town of Arundel

Had a great couple of days.

The cottage has ample space for 4 people and is within walking distance to the centre and famous castle.

Parking van be difficult directly outside the property but with patience it is not an issue and is something not be perturbed by when in such a historic setting.

Overall a lovely property and destination.

excellent

  • 4 of 5

On arrival at St Georges cottage we were very excited, when we opened the door we were very pleased and happy to see a beautifully furnished and well equipped home from home. The cottage continued all week to be a haven to come back to.

If there was a criticism it is very small there was no freezer for our ice packs.

We would not hesitate to recommend the property and we will return as it is a perfect location as a base.
