The Mowey Barns is a beautifully appointed spacious barn conversion set on a working farm.

Adjoining the owner's home, it is situated in lovely countryside at the end of a farm lane, 3 miles from the ancient town of Helston. For further information please email: themoweybarns@sky.com

Being centrally located in one of Cornwall's most popular areas, you will be spoilt for choice with attractions to suit all tastes which include Flambards theme park, St Michaels Mount, the gardens of Glendurgan and Trebah and within walking distance of Poldark Mine where the underground scenes were shot for the recent "Poldark" TV drama.

Within 10 miles of the property are the lovely sandy beaches and sheltered coves of the Lizard Peninsular, Stithians Lake where you can undertake a host of water sports, and sailing on the Helford River.

The accommodation is accessed via 4 external steps from the parking space and arranged over one level offering:

2 bedrooms: 1 king-size with en-suite bathroom with bath and separate shower and WC, 1 zip-and-link twin (that can be made as a super-king by request at booking) with en-suite shower room and WC.

Lounge: with TV/DVD with Sky Sports Package, leather sofas, woodburner, small selection of books, DVDs and boards games/puzzles and French doors to garden.

Kitchen/diner: with integrated appliances including electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer.

Outside: small enclosed garden with lawn, patio area, garden furniture and small charcoal BBQ.

Parking: private off-road parking for 1 car or 2 smaller cars (further by arrangement)

Bed linen, towels, electric, central heating and Wi-Fi included.

This former cow she'd is quite simply the best holiday cottage me and my family have ever stayed in. Spacious, very clean, modern, superbly equipped and very quiet (surprisingly as it is based on a working farm). The barn is 3 miles from Helston and is very central to beaches, tiny fishing villages, Lands End and even Newquay is not far away. A credit to its owners, we would recommend this cottage as a luxury base to explore south Cornwall. Mr B.



Mowey Barns is an absolute gem. The barn is superb and everything has been carefully considered. There was not one appliance/item in any of the rooms that that had not been thought about and provided. We have been in a few barns, but this has excelled them all. Mr M.
