This large two-bedroom ground-floor apartment is in the lush, quiet and spacious Patio Al Cornocal development in El Paraiso, located between the quaint old towns of Marbella and Estepona, a couple of miles west of San Pedro. Al Cornocal is ideally situated 15 minutes walk to the beach and only a few minutes' walk to a variety of shops, newsagents, supermarkets, banks and bars and restaurants of all types. El Paraiso, with its mature gardens, still retains its old-world charm, and, with about 15 golf courses in the area, is a golfers’ paradise. The large [double-size] patio is partly shaded and partly in the sun, faces south thus attracting the sun all day long and is ideal for relaxing whilst overlooking the landscaped gardens. The apartment is only a minute’s walk from the lovely large newly-re-furbished communal swimming pool , sun loungers with towels [these are chargeable at €5 per person], dining area and the country club with its excellent restaurant and bar with free wi-fi and information desk.There is also a bowls club nearby and the famous yacht harbour of Puerto Banus is only a few miles away.

Comfortable spacious homely apartment well located

We stayed here for 8 days mid November. It's a lovely apartment and obviously someone's home so it has everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay unlike a pure holiday let sometimes, from lots of kitchen equipment to blankets/heaters etc required for this time of year. It's very spacious and would be ideal for 2 couples as both bedrooms are ensuite and well separated. Great powerful shower in the main ensuite and the main bedroom is a great size. After some good long days out sightseeing it was lovely to return and sit outside in the lovely furnished spacious terrace with open views across the gardens before having to decide which restaurant to go to as there are so many to choose from.

We know the area well as we took our first holiday in the area in 1995.

There are dozens of restaurants within a 10 minute walk or more within a 5 minute drive. The management company we dealt with were friendly, professional and helpful. We had a very enjoyable relaxing week with excellent weather for most of it, upto 22C and wall to wall sunshine, like the middle of summer almost, and would definitely recommend and hope to return in the future.

Very comfortable home from home

We stayed here from 1st October to 8th October, it is a lovely home from home apartment with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay, there was only the 2 of us but it is plenty big enough for 4, it is so welcoming and comfortable we stayed in the apartment 3 nights after being out all day it was lovely to return and sit outside sharing a bottle of wine and then relaxing indoors watching a film or UK TV (which was a lovely surprise to find we could access this as the Ryder Cup was on while we were out there so hubby was very pleased). We know the area well as we have holidayed there the last 14 years as my husband enjoys playing golf at the Paraiso Golf course which the apartment is ideally situated for. It is a quiet residential area with a comfortable country club and access to a nice pool area, also the shops and restaurants are less than 5 minutes walk away, and there are 2 large supermarkets a couple of minutes drive away. It was nice to meet the owners Jeff and Judith who had been at the apartment for the 2 weeks prior to our arrival. We had a very enjoyable relaxing week and would definitely recommend and hope to return in the future.

Lovely location and spacious

A comfortable spacious south facing apartment

My wife and I stayed at the apartment for 7days and had a very nice time. The apartment is set in well maintained gardens with south facing patio so gets the sun all day. It's in a very quiet position so no problem getting a good nights sleep, yet all the bars and restaurants are just a 5min walk away. With temperatures into the early 30c the apartment stayed cool inside a comfortable rest bite from the temperature outside. Altogether a very comfortable,spacious with a good location apartment. We hope to go back again soon and would recommend this apartment to anyone looking to holiday on the Costa del sol.

Very spacious, comfy, quiet south facing property.

We stayed here for 24 days and loved this south facing apartment. Two very spacious bedrooms with good ensuites and good living accommodation. The garden complex is excellent and very well maintained.local amenities are also very good, nice bars and restaurants so you don't have to go far. We would certainly return.

Perfect apartment for our needs

We took our two teenage boys here to get some early sunshine in Spain. The apartment was perfect for our needs and is located on a well maintained complex which also has a country club with pool, bar and restaurant. Both bedrooms were a nice size with each having their own bathroom. The living area and kitchen were also a good size. The apartment looks out onto mature and well maintained gardens. There are many bars and restaurants within walking distance which we took advantage of on a few nights. We were also well looked after by the company who managed the property on the owners behalf. All in all good value for money and we would definitely go back

It's a large quiet apartment in a desirable area with a lovely south-facing garden view from the huge patio. All the facilities you could want are either on site or nearby. It's a mixed community where many of the owners live all year round.

Malaga airport is approx 65Km and Gibraltar airport is approx 60Km. Puerto Banus is about 17Km, Marbella is about 30Km.

  • Notes on accommodation: The apartment is about 850 sq ft in area. There is free WiFi available in the apartment and at the clubhouse. There is an electric fire in the living room, and one portable Calor gas heater, and two portable electric heaters, normally kept in the bedrooms. There are insect nets in the bedrooms, bathrooms and back patio. There is a covered car park with ample spaces for renters and visitors. Outside: The apartment was originally two separate properties which have been converted into one, so the patio is double-sized, part covered and part uncovered with both tiled and grassed areas. There are six plastic garden chairs, four of which have detachable foot-rests to turn them into comfortable reclinable sun loungers with attachable side-tables. There are also two patio dining tables with four patio chairs. All seats have padded cushions. Utility Room: Off the kitchen is a covered outside utility area with an extra fridge freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher, iron and ironing board and clothes horse. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen and towels along with beach towels and mats are included.
