The house has lovely outdoor space,with flat garden and large terrace with an array of scented flowers, herbs, figs and lemons to pick. It is ideal for relaxing and al fresco dining. Notes on accommodation: The 2 large king size bedded rooms also have full size day beds suitable for young babies toddlers, there is also a cot. The house is equipped to be enjoyed all year round. Outside: There is a good size outside terrace that runs the full length of the property and a large garden/ orange grove with an abundance of plants lemon, orange trees and figs. The garden benefits from great mountain views. The terrace has a large dining table/chairs seating 8, and is great for al fresco dining. Umbrellas, sun loungers and BBQ are provided. Utility Room: utility area / Washing Machine and Dryer. iron /ironing board Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are included, for stays over 7 days ,change of linen will be provided. House is cleaned before and after occupation. Rental Table Rental price shown is for up to 4 persons Please add £90 per person extra for over 4. Atmospheric Mallorcan home

Atmospheric Mallorcan home with a large south facing, shaded terrace - perfect for al fresco dining. Extremely comfortable beds with quality linen. Sparkling new kitchen, wonderfully equipped and overlooking the terrace and garden. All beautifully presented and cared for by dear Cati - the housekeeper who greets you on arrival.

Altogether our home from home - returning for our fifth time this October. Can't wait!

Very pleasant stay in a house that delivered quality both indoors and out

As a group of 21 adults who organised our own walking holiday, we rented 4 properties in Soller, all of similar price. The house with garden was rated by everyone as the best by a considerable margin, and was the only one that really delivered what was claimed. The garden itself is very attractive and was great for evening gatherings. The interior combines tradition with good quality modern workmanship and amenities, which contrasts with some poor quality work we saw elsewhere. One of the most important features is that, unlike the other properties, all of the rooms are good and not just some of them. The only issues to be aware of, though relatively minor, are that the property is relatively far from the town centre (15 minutes walk), and more information is needed in advance on how to reach it by car, since the whole of Soller is an impossible labyrinth of one way streets.

A Family Holiday to remember

This property was just perfect for a family holiday to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. The location is just a short walk away from the centre of Soller itself where there are a few restaurants and bars. There's a fabulous Saturday market which fills the streets.

Of course there is the picturesque journey on the trams into Port Soller which is delightful although rather pricey to do on a regular basis but Port Soller is lovely with a family friendly beach and harbour.

I would thoroughly recommend a day in Palma travelling on the old train which chugs along through lemon fields and ends right in the centre of Palma.

We actually celetrated our special meal for our anniversary in the Hotel Salvia which I can't recommend strongly enough - fabulous.

This was honestly just a lovely lovely week spent in such beautiful surroundings. The bedrooms do get rather stuffy for sleeping in the nights but the house if very tastefully decorated throughout.

the perfect place for a great holiday

Only a short walk from the centre of soller this traditional stone house decorated in a lovely contemporary style was great to stay in. It is exactly as described and has everything you need in making your stay so comfortable. The house is cared for by the excellent housekeeper and everything was clean and welcoming for our arrival. The new open planned kitchen and living area was great to prepare meals and be a part of the family. The bedrooms are spacious and well decorated with very comfortable beds and modern bathrooms.

We had glorious weather (except a down pour one day!) and spent time relaxing in the garden amongst the orange and lemon trees. The views to the mountains are stunning and as the sun goes down the light is magical.There are some great walks from the doorstep and we even managed the Postmans walk to Deia.

We had some lovely meals out and restaurants are close by in the town and in Port Soller. We would recommend for a special treat Hotel Salvia for both lunch and dinner - you would need to book.

For us in many ways Can Cameta is a 'home from home' and for a short time we feel very much part of the local life and at the same time enjoying excellent accommodation.

This is our third visit and have already booked for later this year and for 2016! The perfect place for a great holiday.

A beautiful spot yet close to all amenities

Six of us stayed here for the second time at the beginning of June and once again we had a wonderful holiday. Alice was very helpful, as always, and arranged taxi transfers from the airport. We did not need a hire car as the house is in such a convenient location. It is just a ten minute walk to the town square with plenty of shops and restaurants on the way. We used the tram to get to Port de Soller and the little train to visit Palma. There are also good walks from the doorstep.

The weather was hot and sunny all week and we really enjoyed being able to relax in the garden in the shade of the orange and lemon trees, taking in the beautiful mountain views.

The house is very spacious and beautifully decorated with a well equipped kitchen and comfortable sofas in the living room. We also appreciated the newly refurbished bathrooms. This is a fantastic house and we would not hesitate to return again.

We would recommend Cafe Scholl and Ca'n Boqueta in Soller. The former has tasty vegetarian food, good coffee and cakes and a range of cocktails. Ca'n Boqueta on Gran Via does a good value set price three course lunch and an evening tasting menu. Also try Campo Sol in Port Soller for friendly service and great gambas! Bar Molino just round the corner serves great coffee and very reasonably priced food.

Idyllic holiday house

My family of 5 adults & 2 children stayed here in April 2015. The owner could not have been more helpful with organising car hire & taxi transport to & from the airport. The house is a beautiful, traditional Spanish type house with a garden full of orange & lemon trees & just far enough away from the town centre so it is quiet but easy to walk to shops, restaurants & train station. Inside the house was clean & bright & comfortable with everything you might need, including a large selection of sun hats ! I would certainly recommend this property to a friend or relative. In fact I wanted to take the whole house home with me !

Location

Special interest holidays:

The beach/port has facilities for boating, water sking and fishing.

Organised walks are available along with bike hire.

The town also has a tennis club and outdoor pool.

Coast/Beach:

The port of Soller with its sandy beaches is about 5 mins by car or 15 mins on the tram from the town centre, the tram journey is through the valleys lush orange groves, an enjoyable experience. There are lots of bars and restaurants and the opportunity for boat trips/hire, water sports etc.

Travel:

The town is approx 25 minutes from Palma airport, through the new mountain tunnel. The town has good public transport, bus and historic train to Palma and tram to the port,so hire car isn't necessary unless you wish to explore the surrounding area and villages etc.

Distances:

The pretty villages of Binniarix and Fornatlux are closeby 5mins by car. Deia is 12 km and Valdemosa is 20 km. Palma is approx 30 mins by car.

Further Details:

Good location.The square is a short walk from the house and has lots of bars and restaurants. It has a good local indoor market for fresh fish and vegtables, with a bustling outdoor market on Saturdays. There is good shops, bakeries and deli. The port also has some good restaurants particularly good for seafood. There is a regular tram service from the town to the port, a picturesque journey. The art - noveau train station has a gallery currently with a collection of Picasso and Miro works.
