cosy cottage

  • 5 of 5

We spent three nights in this lovely cosy cottage in March. There was everything we needed for a superb getaway. When we arrived the heating was on and everywhere was clean and welcoming - the welcome basket was a lovely touch.

The cottage is well placed in Staithes being only yards away from lovely pubs serving great food and drinks. The locals are really friendly too.

The parking at the top of the village was fine and as we went on walks which started in the village we got value for money with the parking. A great place for a couple to enjoy a few days away from it all.

Perfect

  • 5 of 5

We stayed from 17th-20th February.

The weather was unusually warm and sunny for this time of year.

The cottage is absolutely beautiful and has a very warm homely feel from the moment you open the door.

We will most certainly be staying again.

A beautiful experiential visit, to an atmospheric fishing village

  • 4 of 5

An excellent accommodation in an outstanding location. Very pretty, even with poor weather. Th e whole village and the local people were amazing. Lovely team room and great Pub, Cod and Lobster. Enjoyed the walk on the Cleveland way and our visit to Whitby. Will definitely be visiting in the future.

Ideal for a couple

  • 4 of 5

This lovely welcoming home has been delightfully and carefully modernised. Internet is available on a pay BT basis but it is good to be away from now and appreciate the then. A good selection of books describing old Staithes is provided. Lovely walk to Runswick Bay and beyond if you wish and good bus service X4 between Saltburn and Whitby brings you home.
