Perfect little cottage and location for our first trip to he Cotswolds Janet thoughtfully had some basics available and the local shop was so handy for our daily provisions.

Cute quaint, quiet and well kitted out characterful cottage

  • 5 of 5

The wife and I loved it and would recommend strongly. Set back on a pedestrian footpath off a side road, it is very peaceful, yet 2 minutes walk from centre of Lechlade

Very well appointed cottage wIth a full high standard refurb. Quiet location & lovely small garden

  • 5 of 5

This cottage has been lovingly and thoughtfully restored and is very well kitted our with lots of small touches like cotton bed linen, full size bath sheets and even a box of chocs on arrival. The outdoor area is also lovely if small but as it’s south facing catches the sun for most of the day. It would benefit from having some of the larger shrubs cut back to create a better sense of space. It’s within a short walk of Lechlade high street and the river for walks and boating. Parking on the street was sometimes tricky in that we couldn’t find a space near the cottage which is accessed via a public footpath running off the street. These were minor concerns - this is one of the best places we’ve ever stayed in.

New Year Break

  • 5 of 5

Had a lovely couple of days to celebrate New Year. Cottage was everything we wished for and was very welcoming after a couple of hours drive. The bottle of fizz and mince pies were a very nice thought.

Would love to stay again and for longer when the weather is a bit warmer!

Every thing the owner claimed was true.

  • 5 of 5

The kitchen was well stocked and every thing was so clean, even the outsid laundry was spotless. The bed was very comfy. There were books to borrow and a telly. Neither of which we used too busy with all the other attractions in the area. Locating it was a little difficult as we were looking for a street not a secluded narrow lane about five feet wide. We enjoyed every moment.

For new visiters you do need a gps sat nav.

Pretty little cottage in a beautiful village

  • 4 of 5

Good value, perfect for a long weekend, clean, good info on area and the cottage itself, ideal for a couple.

Box of chocolates a nice touch

No parking at the property, very limited spaces on the road nearby.

Not practical for children, especially toddlers!

Did not appreciate the owner turning up 20 minutes before our scheduled departure, making us feel very rushed and pressured to vacate, apologising that she had more people booked in!!!! This was not necessary, especially when we had two young children to deal with, Thus spoiling the end of our stay!!! I suggest in the future, you refrain from turning up untill your customers have left.

A real shame.
