About the Owner

My husband and I purchased this cottage in the autumn of 2013. We had spent many a holiday here ourselves whilst my husband’s parents owned it. They owned it for twelve years and used it as a second home. We loved roaming the beaches, nipping into Narberth on Saturday mornings and enjoying the cottage garden in the summer months. Our daughter enjoyed visiting the fun days out which are in short reach of the cottage.

Following Quentin's parents decision to sell, we took the opportunity to take on the property ourselves. We wanted to continue to enjoy the beautiful cottage and garden, whilst also making it affordable by combining it as a holiday let.

So as you can see, the cottage has been part of our lives for some time and is very special to us.

The cottage is lovely with everything you might need and has been sympathetically updated by Sarah and Quentin. There is a pretty and safe garden and the village is nice and quiet. The cottage is well equipped and warm and nicely furnished. Lots of useful basic things - milk, condiments etc. Remember to take a hairdryer if you need one - there isn't one in the cottage. Comfy beds and nice bed linen. I am sure we will be back to see more of this beautiful area. The weather was lovely while we were there- on the beach both days. Frances and John Woodhead

Cosy and clean cottage perfect for families

  • 5 of 5

The cottage was as advertised, a lovely cosy place for us to stay as a family. The rooms were tidy and big enough to sleep 6 people and the kitchen well equipped. We would definitely recommend and wouldn't hesitate to stay in the future.

Lovely cottage and stunning garden

  • 5 of 5

We had a great holiday and were very comfortable in the cottage. We spent a lot of time in the garden and summer house, and the children also enjoyed the park in the local village.

There was excellent communication with the owners before and after our holiday (and no need to contact during our stay because everything went smoothly).

The cottage is just a few minutes by car from Narberth, and is in a good location for exploring the South Pembrokeshire coast from Pendine to Angle, as well as being close to the main roads west, north and east.

We would recommend it.

Early summer break

  • 5 of 5

A lovely cottage with a beautiful garden in a quiet hamlet. The cottage had everything we needed and the owners were really helpful.

The area has fabulous beaches and countryside with interesting small seaside towns and villages to mooch around.

I would recommend this cottage and area if you are looking for a relaxing break.

charming cottage with pretty garden

  • 4 of 5

Convenient position for touring the area. House was well equipped with cot and highchair for us and the garden was very pretty and dogproof. Lovely summer house provided extra space if needed and we enjoyed use of the BBQ. Not far to Narberth for local supplies (nothing in Llanwrist Major) and we did one big shop in Haverfordwest. Washing up cloths and teatowels and handtowels were provided which was useful.Loved Tenby and Saundersfoot and Barafundle beaches. Saundersfoot easy to park by the beach. Enjoyed frisby golf at a nearby farm and chilling in the garden. Tall people would need to stoop under the shower but the electric shower worked well. Would recommend the cottage, especially for the garden.Owners very helpful over any queries.

Brilliant

A lovely place to stay especially with the garden being so dog friendly. A good location for visiting Pembrokeshire. Booking was easy and information about Manchester House and its loaction was good. Everything you needed was in the house and the local honey was a lovely welcome. We have already told other people about the property. Narberth had everything you needed for shopping as well as some lovely places to eat.

Facilities

From the Owner

The cottage is a pleasure to stay at during all seasons; cosy and snug in the winter and a beautiful garden to enjoy in the summer. It is conveniently placed close to many of Pembrokeshire's main attractions (Folly farm, Bluestone, Heatherton), plus beaches are within 15 minutes. Narberth at 5 minutes drive is great for stocking up on supplies and being a market town means there are plenty of reasons to spend some time looking in shops or having a bite to eat.
