About Sue Fry

I live in West Wales with my husband and 2 dogs, Dylan and Georgie. We have 2 grown up children who have left home. We love Wales and especially Pembrokeshire where we have relocated from Cardiff.

Sue Fry purchased this farmhouse in 2012

Why Sue Fry chose Fishguard, Newport, The Preseli Hills & Bluestone

We bought this property because of its location in Pembrokeshire. It is in the heart of Pembrokeshire so all parts of the county are within easy reach, whether you want beaches or beautiful countryside. The property is located only a mile from Llandissilio village and only 5 miles from the town of Narberth with all its hustle and bustle. The shopping and eating in Narberth is excellent so really good to have this just on our doorstep. The deli and tapas bar in Narberth is one of the best I have been to. Amroth beach is just a short car drive away (approx 15 minutes) as is Saundersfoot and Tenby.

There is so much to do locally, the property is within easy reach of many attractions such as Bluestone Water Park, Oakwood Theme Park and Follyfarm.

Pembrokeshire is surrounded by beautiful coastline and the coastal path. Right on our doorstep we have Llysyfran Country Park and Reservoir. This stunning country park has something for everyone, beautiful walks and cycle runs and a lovely cafe. Ideal for a day out whatever the weather.

What makes this farmhouse unique

Beautiful 5 star farmhouse with breathtaking views of the Pembrokeshire countryside. 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, garden and terrace. It is ideal for extended family and friends to share as there is space for everyone. A lovely garden for the children to play. Although the farmhouse has been renovated in traditional style with traditional materials, it has every luxury you would want from a holiday. The property is rural and set in countryside surrounded by beautiful views, but within minutes you can be in the busy town of Narberth enjoying shopping and restaurants, so you can have peace and quiet or hustle and bustle.

The living area facilities include 43inch TV with Freeview HD and a DVD player. Free WI-FI is provided. A variety of DVD's, music CD's, games and books are provided. There is also a wood burning stove for cosy evening in beside the fire watching one of the DVD's.

The garden is exceptionally large and badminton/tennis/football and all be enjoyed in the garden.

Enjoyable stay in a beautiful farmhouse in a lovely location

  • 5 of 5

We have just enjoyed a family holiday in the 'End of Lane Farmhouse' which is in a lovely quiet location with beautiful surroundings.

The farmhouse was clean with everything we needed and with plenty of room for everyone including the grandparents who slept well in 'little wren cottage'.

The welcome pack was very much appreciated as was the greeting from Sue after what ended up being a long journey.

Some of the group have never been to South Wales and it didn't disappoint. We had visits to Tenby, Saundersfoot, Haverford west and Cardigan.

We would highly recommend this farmhouse to anyone wanting a relaxing base to explore the beautiful Pembrokeshire coast.

The property was spotless when we arrived and completely kitted out with everything we needed. Really spacious, bigger than the photos look. Fantastic beaches at saundersfoot, Tenby and stack pole. Definitely recommend.

A home from home

  • 5 of 5

We stayed with a group of friends for a long weekend in March. We had a wonderful stay at the barn; we were welcomed by a 'Welsh' welcome pack, consisting of Prosecco and other yummy goodies, we did some exploring and shopping in the local town (Narberth) and ate Welsh tapas. The owner of the barn was extremely welcoming and friendly, making our stay as relaxing as possible. We only wish that we could have had longer in the area - luckily, we will be back for more!

Wonderful stay in beautiful barn

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed a very relaxing week in this wonderful barn. It was very well equipped, clean and well maintained. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners who made us feel very welcome and had some good recommendations of places to visit. It is in a very peaceful and quiet location but only a short drive to some amazing beaches and places of interest (St David's , Narbeth, Pembrokeshire coast) to name a few. We would definitely recommend a stay here to friends and family. We hope to return soon.
