Apartment in Edmonton Nr. Wadebridge, Cornwall, England - Beautiful Location Within Walking Distance Of The Camel Trail And A Short Drive To Wadebridge

Set in the stunning Cornish countryside Tylney Retreat offers the most magical holiday location within a small select collection of properties. It has everything for those looking for a quiet, comfortable and enjoyable Cornish break in or out of season. From the lounge there are far reaching panoramic views over the countryside and the Camel Estuary; you will be able to join the Camel Trail just at the end of the lane. There is an extensive choice of restaurants, bistros and pubs in the nearby market town of Wadebridge, also the historic fishing port of Padstow, the home of Rick Stein's seafood restaurant, is only 7 miles. If you would like to stay closer to home then the award winning Quarryman Inn is just around the corner and enables you to enjoy an evening drink or meal after a day exploring the Camel Trail.

The apartment is fully equipped and kept to a high standard of decoration. Although there is no washing machine in the apartment, there is a local launderette in nearby Wadebridge. Bed linen (not towels or bath mats) is included in the rental price for 7 night plus stays. For short stay, bed linen can be provided by a local provider at a cost of £10 per room, please indicate when booking if you would like this arranged.

Hi, I am a retired Finance Manager with nearly 40 years experience in the Motor Industry and my wife is a Practice Manager at a GP Surgery and together we own Tylney Retreat. We have been having family holidays in Cornwall since 1994 and have always dreamt of owning our own 'bolt hole'. We have spent a lot of time decorating and furnishing the apartment and believe it provides a really comfortable base to explore the Cornish countryside and coast. Fantastic stay

We had a fantastic stay at this apartment. It was clean, spacious and modern. Loved watching the sun set over Padstow in the evening from the comfort of the sofa. Excellent pub with local beer just a short walk away. Can't wait to go back next year.

Excellent property

The living accommodation is far more spacious than the photos show and the views really are fabulous; we spent many hours just gazing out across the Camel. Great location for the Camel Trail and accessing routes to go further afield. Very well maintained property. We hope to return.

A Lovely Apartment with views towards Padstow

My husband and I were very impressed with the accomodation, there was plenty of space also lovely and warm (it was March!). There was everything we needed, for us the fact there was no washing machine was not a problem. It was very convenient being close to Wadebridge for shopping and meals in the evening, and the Quarryman next door was a lovely pub with good food.We would highly recommend the apartment and also mention we found the location quiet and peaceful despite being next to a pub.A great find!!

Coast/Beach:

The apartment is close to many of North Cornwall's beautiful beaches. Including Padstow Beach, 6 miles; Trevone Bay, 7 miles; Rock Beach, 8 miles;

Constantine Bay, Daymer Bay, Polzeath Beach and Harlyn Bay all of which are approximately 9 miles away.

Travel:

The apartment is ideally located for people arriving by car being close to the A39 and is just 9 miles from Newquay airport.

Booking is available online with Pay Pal or direct with the owner via the contacts given. A booking is secured with a £50 deposit with full payment due 6 weeks prior to your stay.

Changeover Day:
The changeover day is Saturday with arrival after 3:00pm. Our guests are asked to vacate the premises by 10:00am on the morning of departure.

  • 50% refund for cancellations more than 14 days before check-in date.
