Great location in Lovely Lymington!

We recently enjoyed a lovely couple of days in this charming apartment. The location is perfect.

Great communication with the owner and hand-over arrangements were very straightforward. Given our activities for the two days, the apartment served us well with it's three double bedrooms. Decor is a little dated but kind of fits with the quaintness of Lymington.

Lymington Flat Review

The flat was warm and cosy - a very important consideration at the time of the year we stayed in Lymington - February.

The kitchen was well equipped - everything you would want for preparing a simple breakfast or a substantial evening meal.

The beds were very comfortable.

The location just off the High Street is very convenient.

Loved the living room.

A few negative comments as follows -

a) Only one parking permit was provided which was troublesome for us as we were two families each with a car.

b) How to throw out the rubbish? - no instructions were provided.

c) The bathroom is rather too small and having to hand hold the shower head was awkward.

Nice flat - shame about the admin

Very nice flat and good location - we enjoyed our stay very much. But the booking and the repayment of deposit were tortuous, requiring several phone calls.

Very comfortable Apartment in an excellent locatio

Lovely clean, comfortable and spacious apartment in a great location on the High Street. We stayed with our 3 children and the apartment was spacious enough for the 5 of us. Great parking permit! Bathroom on the small side but absolutely fine. Hassle free, easy and warm interactions with Frances, whose approach made the stay very enjoyable and relaxed. Thank you!

A peaceful apartment in a prime position

A very warm friendly welcome from the owner Frances when we arrived. She went through what we needed to know said we could contact her anytime if we needed her and then left us to it, which is exactly what you want. The apartment is decorated tastefully and this helps you relax as soon as you walk in the door. There is a private terrace area to sit outside. A kitchen with everything you need, a large lounge, a separate dining room and 3 comfortable double bedrooms. The bathroom is small but in keeping with the property. We found the apartment very peaceful. The apartment would be enough on it's own to recommend this place but then once you leave the property you walk along a little alley through a gate and you are in Lymington High Street with its great shops, restaurants and fabulous Saturday market. We recommend the tapas restaurant and if you are visiting the last Saturday of the month, visit The Angel and Blue Pig at lunch time for a drink and listen to an elderly gentleman play live music. We will definitely be returning. See you soon Frances

Lymington Spring break 2015

We recently had 5 nights at this charming, well appointed apartment. It is directly on the High Street, so a really great location for the shops and eateries and also for the wider New Forest area, which is beautiful. There's a lot to do around and about and we kept our 11 and 14 year olds entertained. We hired bikes, went to Go Ape and Portsmouth discounted retail centre, as well as pottering around some of the lovely nearby villages, such as Lyndhurst, Brockenhurst and Burley. The owner was very welcoming and accomodating and the apartment is very clean, well equipped and has a real charm. Suggested improvements would be a DVD player, Wi-Fi, hairdryer, earplugs and better parking arrangements. Having said that, we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and would recommend it to friends.

Owner's Response: Thank you for the feedback. The apartment is on Lymington High Street so one would expect to hear traffic. But at night it is generally quiet. For the lighter sleepers the back bedroom is very quiet. We now have a parking permit for visitors to use during there stay and there are plenty of car parks a few steps away from the apartment. We now have a DVD, Hairdryer and are in the process of getting Wi Fi, but the numerous coffee shops on the High Street all have free wi fi.
