WELL EQUIPPED CLEAN AND VERY REASONABLY PRICED

  • 4 of 5

THIS IS A VERY WELL EQUIPPED HOLIDAY LET WITH EVERYTHING YOU NEED FROM A HOME FROM HOME. IT HAS A LARGE DECKING AREA OVERLOOKING THE POND THAT IS CHILD SAFE WITH THE GATE AND GETS THE SUN ALL DAY. I HAVE USED THIS HOLIDAY HOME ONCE AT THE END OF 2015 AND TWICE IN 2016. AND UPTO YET TWICE THIS YEAR SO FAR AND WILL BE BACK AT LEAST THREE TIMES IN THE REMAINDER OF THIS YEAR. IT IS ALWAYS CLEAN AND WELL MAINTAINED. IF THE HOLIDAY HOME HAS BEEN UNOCCUPIED PRIOR TO YOUR ARRIVAL IT MAY BE A LITTLE COLD IN WINTER, THIS IS UNDERSTANDABLE WHY HEAT A EMPTY HOME ? BUT IT WARMS UP IN NO TIME WITH THE CENTRAL HEATING AND FIRE. I HAVE HIRED SEVERAL HOLIDAY LETS AT THIS LOCATION OVER THE YEARS AND FOR THE PRICE YOU WILL NOT FIND BETTER. WISH I COULD KEEP THIS A SECRET FOR MY OWEN GAIN BUT TO GOOD TO MISS BELIEVE ME YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.

Immaculately presented in a beautiful location, would highly recommend this lodge

  • 5 of 5

We have stayed at Tattershall lakes for 5 years now and I must say this is by far the best unit we have stayed in. This superior lodge is one of a small number of units facing a large pond with a fountain in the middle and parking for 2 cars.

externally there is a very large pvc fenced veranda which is ideal for keeping small children safe, table and chairs are the perfect place to sit back and relax listening to the sound of the ducks and trickling fountain.

Walking through the door we were taken aback with the size of the lodge and the height of the ceilings the open plan design has a great layout. In the kitchen there is a washing machine, dishwasher, full size inter grated fridge freezer, eye level oven with separate grill, a microwave and 5 burner gas hob with a powerful extractor. The units provide a huge amount of storage space and is fully equipped with everything you need.

In the living area there are three sofas, one of which is a sofa bed, TV, coffee table and dining table and chairs, the glass doors open out onto the decked veranda.

There is a family bathroom with a full size bath with shower with more storage space in the vanity unit. In bedroom two there are 2 full size single beds with a tv on the wall, open a door into a walk-in wardrobe with hanging rails, shelves and draws, including a travel cot, high chair and ironing board, don’t miss the hairdryer in one of the draws.

Bedroom one there is a double bed with tv on the wall and another identical walk-in wardrobe (minus the content), another door leads to an on suite shower room with a powerful very hot shower that you just won’t want to get out of. All bed linen is provided and bath mats but pack your own towels.

It is situated close enough to the lakes and entertainment to enjoy a short walk but far enough away that you cannot hear any of the noise. On the lakes you enjoy watching the waterskiing from the bar or upstairs in the soon to be opened pasta/pizza bar.

Head down to the jet ski lake where you can watch the action or get involved yourself by booking one of the jet ski experiences or towable rides you can even be your own Ironman on a fly board. At wakeboard lake you can book a session and that’s where you’ll find the massive inflatable obstacle course and be catapulted into the air or run on the hamster wheel. Nighttime entertainment is provided in the spitfire bar at extra cost but after all the activities a glass of wine on the deck was for us. Highly recommended!!

We were absolutely thrilled with the lodge, it suited our needs perfectly, was well equipped inside and spotlessly clean. The deck was perfect for the children to play on and watch the ducks on the lake whilst being safe. We hope very much to be able to book again soon. Thank you Kate and Hamish for the use of your lodge
